I have have been using this Rom as a daily driver for the past 2 months. I have not encountered any major bugs minus the battery life which is quite irritating. Otherwise, all seems to work flawlessly and my note 3 can now do more than my actual note 5 can. I recommend this Rom over the stock note 3 Rom any day!!
Awesome video dude. Ended up in a loop but wipe setting and after 4mins it started updating and works flawlessly now my note 3 thinks its a note 5 and it feels like i have a new phone with new software gadgets. Best one is the split screen app now i can catch pokemons while reading or watching videos at the same time :D thanks!
I'm on a the T-Mobile version. I had to flash the 9005 version. The 900T version was the touchwiz lollipop for the Note 3. I then had to flash the radio to get LTE, although my screen is only saying 4G. I'm not sure if the speeds are up to par with LTE, as this is all I'm getting after putting the setting to LTE only under Mobile Networks. I'm also missing the smart lock feature. Other than a reboot out the middle of nowhere, this rom has been fantastic so far. I'm going to run it for a few more days and see about donating. I appreciate the work that's been put into this so that we can save a few dollars.
+Q. Lawrence Update: I figured out the Smart Lock feature. This Rom has transformed my phone. It's been awesome, after getting it to where I want it to be. The only glitchy part is that the screen off writing with the spen doesn't always engage. It was the same for the developed app for the Note 3/4.

Nice rom, a lot of cool features as mentioned in the video. My battery life is similar to the stock note 3 rom but I noticed my battery charges much faster with tne Darklord rom. Thanks Max Lee.

Dayum, just imagine this for Note 4 :) Having almost similar specs with the advantage of microSD, IR blaster, Bigger Battery (removable) could put the Note 5 to its knees.

I am currently occupying the version of Darklord emulating Note 5 and I have been almost 3 months without finding any performance problem. Thanks for that. And only have one question, I recently felt the need to do a factory reset and I have not been successful. I have tried the restoration, the wipes in the recovery, install another rom (DarKLord port Note 7), select the different wipe options offered by the Aroma installer and I still can not do it. I would appreciate your help and of course I continue to support your work. thank you very much

Hi Max.great video. I managed to convert the Note 3 to Note 5 and everything works great and it's very stable. I rooted using super SU before installing DardLord rom and removed the root via the super SU app to fully unroot and also flashing super SU uninstaller after that. Root check says I'm unrooted, I also checked with ES file explorer that I don't have any Su files left behind. But I still can't log in to pokemon Go. I read somewhere that it is because the DarkLord ROM is pre-rooted. How do I remove it and still get it to work? Oh yeah by the way, same results even after I installed Magisk and the systemless Xposed framework which I can toogle root and unroot perfectly.

for those who don't know, if you want to have better performance stay on stock rom because my experience on this rom on antutu benchmark I got 43148 best score, on official rom 49231. So decide by yourself what you gonna do.

Installed this ROM, there are a lot of bugs such as the Camera app crashes, the dialer upon clicking the alphabets doesnt pull out the contact that I'm trying to search. Also the camera as shown in the video is not as good as the one that has got installed (Yes, selected S6 camera only during installation.) The battery is draining very fast when the phone is being used and even when idle.

My screen off memo works 90 percent of the time. But when it doesn't just reboot the phone and it comes right back everyone.

Initial install takes about 10-15 minutes. Just give it time to load everything at first boot up after install.

No. Custom roms are unstable. Tried quite a few different kernels but nope no go. It's very unstable Compared to stock.

Yeah, I was able to carry by changing the recovery mode app. I was using TWRP and changed it to CWM. It worked like a charm! Good luck!
