Mr. McShane is a class act. Interesting and nice to listen to. Enjoyable and entertaining. Top notch Actor. Accolades. Would watch him in anything. HUGS and blessings for ALL 👣🌠🌌🏞🥰👍🔥
Always a favourite Deadwood and Ian,,,,just restarted my box set of Lovejoy yesterday, it was the first box set i bought many years ago , forgot how many times i have watched it , lovely interview , Norman in England .
That how-to-crack-the-safe montage in Sexy Beast, finishing with McShane growling, "There's always a fucking way" is one of my favorite sequences, ever.
"No unauthorized fkn cinnamon!" "I went for a swim" (line from the movie "Battle of Britain". As for the Deadwood movie, sad that there will be no Richardson or Cy Toliver.
Combine Swearengen's favorite word with Tai Lung first meeting Po: "Him?! He's a CSer, you're a CSer!" You're not getting that out of your head - you're welcome.
For those who could not get past the profanity, they really missed out. The dialogue and story was Shakespearian, interlaced with historical figures. Really a description of the nature of man. It’s done so well, the minor characters plan huge rolls.
What is all about Deadwood????!!!!!!!!! I've didn't even heard about it. Going to have to check out to see just to take a closer look at it just to see what this show is all about.
His voice is like butter. It makes no sense! Al’s despicable.....but he can still get it. Ian can get it too frfr. Lol idk there’s something about him 😄😄🤷🏽♀️
Incredible actor and love him in just about everything he's done. But the only thing more boring than watching sports is listening to people talk about it. Wasn't able to finish this video.
@@ludacris6212 I didn't really have any thoughts about it one way or the other. I"m not familiar with this show and this was just a recommended video so I gave it a try since I liked the actor.
Yea, but managed to bad mouth are great President just like most Hollywood Communist. Perhaps he's just another Hwood Pedo? The only reason they would hate him so muc. Go back to socialist England where his soverignty is gone!
Charles Crooks I'm sorry....what great president 🤣He still hasn't "made America great again". America was great without him in office-he's only made America a laughing stock, because he talks out of his backside.
@@focusingbeauty I've watched a few episodes of season 2 and he doesn't sound like this to me in those and he doesn't sound like that in the Deadwood trailer. Hopefully he was just having a bad day or day drinking.
Wow That had to be such a very cool experience, Rich...Interviewing THE Ian McShane...Such an accomplishd & extensive actng credits...From being “Judas” in one of the greatst Easter/ Jesus movies ever in “Jesus Of Nazareth”..To “Hell Boy”..The John Wick film series..Deadwood..& the voice of “Tai Lung” in “Kung Fu Panda” ..As aspiring & struggling actor myself.. I’d love to sit down & just pick his brain about acting..ask him for som helpful tips or actng exercises to help me to finally land a few actng roles..
Did he really just say that the NFL was like socialism?? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! "... you put in, you take out..." That is not socialism, dude... that's free market capitalism (and not corporate welfare capitalism, like We've turned into).
Do they change his voice in movies and TV series? Because I can't tell what he is saying. It's like mumbling, too soft, too low of a voice, too quick. They must do something because I understand him perfectly in shows. Or he changes his voice? I LOVE him as an actor, though for a while he was overused, but you have to strike when the iron's hot. He was brilliant in Deadwood and I was traumatized when they cut the show, the bas___s. But then.....he decided to wow me further with another show that was right up my ally: American Gods. THIS was a HIGHLY original, breaking ground series. But I'm a great grandmother and when I like something, given I'm not the target audience, sadly, it generally doesn't bode well for the show or movie. They cut it. Addendum: I just realized that he's only unintelligible when talking sports. When he starts talking about the shows, he was perfectly understandable. Weird..... P.s. Being a Western fan, like loving a sports team that loses a lot, you get used to disappointment. It's a niche genre. I enjoy what's offered, and in the case of Deadwood, it's so good, one is baffled when they cut it. In the age of the ever-disgusting, race-to-the-bottom nature of social media and "Reality TV," its quite the shock to the system when something genuinely special, genuinely unique, sophisticated and nuanced shows up. If it doesn't make a bazillion dollars, they cut it. Again....bas____s. So.....what do they do? They remove the show, pluck the thing they think is the lowest common factor, and make a show about that: Justified, where the sheriff, er, deputy Marshall goes around beating up and blowing away bad guys. Still a good show that I watched, but its hardly the sophisticated, nuanced tapestry that the Deadwood series was. .
Deadwood. One of the greatest television shows ever made. Modern day Shakespeare. People in five hundred years will still marvel at it.

💯💯💯💯👌🏼Ian McShane is one of the absolute best in the world! 🙌🏼
he was a very lovely young man.... looked goofy in the 80's ... and then very handsome again
Love Spreader Yup I know, I watched Lovejoy, he was excellent in Lovejoy-he's excellent in everything!
Judas??
Too bad Powers Boothe passed away before this Deadwood film was made. Another fine actor. Can't wait for this tho..better late than never!
Powers Boothe - greatly missed!
I just finished Deadwood today. The first time I ever watched it. I will miss them ! Great series.
He is so good looking for his age, and that voice 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍some lady is very lucky.
Love Deadwood. Wish McShane had done more Hollywood movies.

Lovejoy is a fantastic comedy drama. Ian play a wonderful character in it.

I do love Deadwood, but Lovejoy is still my favourite Ian McShane TV show.
Respect for naming the Hungarian Golden Team, Mr. McShane! Ferenc Puskas was a friend of my father's.
Puskas is one of the best ever in the fame, he should get way more recognition
Deadwood film is the best news in ages. Waited an age. Its got to be good.
drealmerz7 z yup, you suck
The best celeb sports interview ever.
Go to 10:22, DEADWOOD fans! Al's back!!!
Ian is in great shape! Hard to believe his age.
A young Ian McShane co-starred in The Battle of Brittain with Michael Cane, Laurence Olivier and Robert Shaw.
he was the whole show in DEADWOOD great job great acting
Ian doing a Tim Olyphant voice even for a split second is hilarious.😂😂
Wow McShane really knows his Sport. I expected him to know about Football given his family background but he really does love all kinds
McShane dropping some old school raiders knowledge.
Newfound love for Ian McShane talking about socialism as well as sovietism contra communism, you go educating them masses.
Socialism, in its purest sense has nothing to do with communism.
Communism is an abuse of the principle.
After watching this, I need to eff something. What an amazing and inspiring human being.
Ian McShane is great.

Iver had an interested/admiring type of smile listening since the Oliphant and now McShane interview....fine actors and fine men.
He was so good in the TV series Lovejoy.
GREAT ACTOR IAN MCSHANE.
such a great actor
Thank you Mr.Mcshane for Al Swearengen
Almost 80 ... sharp as ever
Teddy Bass in Sexy Beast . Cold Blooded !!
Ian mc shane looks 25 years younger
The proportions of that set between host and guest are totally atrocious
DrummahMike plus, the host appears to be elevated six inches higher that the guest. Very poor set design.

The first role of his that seized me was as Judas.
