  • What was supposed to be a fishing trip, turned into my son showing me how much he loved to eat live things off the reef in Hawaii. Fishing in one of the most remote places on Oahu, 4 wheel drive and gate access is needed.

    Oh such a fun day in the tide pools! You have a great family. They are adventurous eaters and you’re teaching them the right way. When he your son gets older he’ll be so hyped to come fishing on the boat with you. I bet he’ll be stoked just catching opelus lol

      Yes he likes to go fishing on the boat. Hasn't gone much because of school. But this summer he will get some trips in.

    Awesome 👏🏾!!!! Exactly what every dad in Hawaii should be doing!!! A’ama crab chill um in da cooler with ice bath or freeze um softens the meat... I feel u if only get a few wack um on da spot lol 😂... wen we go holoholo we freeze um at least a day Hawaiian salt n fresh opihi n ha’uke’uke hard for beat 🤙🏾🤙🏾. Usually after the full moon the wana n ha’uke’uke more fat da meat
