It's unfortunate to see Kazam get his ass handed to him but on the other hand knowing that even the number 1 Johnny doesn't seem to have a good time against Testament makes me feel a little better

Tbf this matchup can be hell for Test, doing 6KMF or even just normal KMF in a lot of instances can punish Grave Reaper from an insane distance. Phaxy was out of their goddamn gourd this set lol.
Phaxy is also just cracked out of their mind. Played them in tower the other day and it was the first time I fought a testament that felt like I was fighting sol.
Johnny could have spammed mist finer and there would be little test could do

Phaxy is so good at taking advantage of the weaknesses of different characters. Even though Johnny has a way better dash now, he still is unable to dash block. What a set.
Phaxy's space control and conversions are so clean, they make this fight look like a dance. Almost makes you believe that Testament is a high tier character.
THATS why i love testament so much! Their combo's are sick as hell and the mixups are incredible now, but neutral with testament looks the most interesting out of the entire cast second to like, Ky. I just love seeing them poke the enemy to hell and back

Johnny getting lamed out is interesting. Finally testament seems to be a threat in some matchups.
Testament Johnny match up is either even (according to a Johnny Discord channel) or slightly losing for Testament (according to a Testament discord channel).
Mist Finer does A LOT of work in limiting Testament's use of Grave Reaper since it will catch the extended hurtbox. It's a big problem for Test in the match up, but obv that doesn't stop Testament from setting up, just makes it harder.
Props to Phaxy taking 3-0 because this matchup is bs

Phaxy played this phenomenally but that doesn't somehow change the characters strength.
That said, i do think this patch was good for Testament, both system wise and character wise, so maybe they are bottom 5 now lol.
I just played her as Sol and I think it's a very strong character.
@@gosugosu1280 Sol has difficulty getting in on Testament but when he does he get's rewarded a lot for it. Also not to be annoying and I'm sure lots of other Testament mains say this but Test uses they/them pronouns.
