I know a lot of people feel very strongly about wanting to get Emotes for in game currency. But honestly in my opinion I'm completely happy with them being purchase only. *As long* as it means they are able to give back in game, with increased gold and cards in chests (as they have done). My biggest gripe with the game for the longest time has been the pay-to-win wall, and making money from cosmetics is a *FAR* preferable system to paying for gameplay benefits.
I agree they should be purchasable only but do think that making them available for gems makes sense :) I agree with your opinions.
They shuld make then free or buyi with gold or gens cuz im ftp on my apl acs and i cant buy anythin im only 13

Philorg Neopolotin just because a deck is at the top for what? A few days? Doesn’t mean a specific card like the rg itself is “op”. Giant beat down decks have been dominant for so long until even right now.......

No one is going to believe me, but I once beat Pompeyeo4 in a grand challenge. His deck was valk, 3 muskies, battle ram, ice golem, elixer pump, snowball, zappies, and miner. Of course I only got 4 wins in the challenge but it was a surprise to beat someone with a max of 7000 trophies. I can't say I am better than him because this was when valk was still overpowered so three muskies couldn't touch me...

Nishanth Swaminathan lol nice. I was only 2 wins into a grand challenge yesterday and I faced diegoB. He absolutely destroyed me and I barely did 200 damage to his tower 😂 it’s easy to think you could take a pro 1v1 until you actually face them and get your ass handed to you

I didn’t beat him, but I played him about a month ago. I used b ram, ice golem, 3m. He had 3m heal with valk. He won🤭

You make the game look so easy as well as the top players playing but I had to quit game beacause I would rage all the time by max elite barbs,wizards,RG,minion horde and as soon as I make or find a deck that counters those,then there is always someone that takes you down. Another thing is that at 4k range and up ,its really hard to move up and change the deck because everything will be underlevelled. You still make the game look awesome and download it again.
I hear ya man, it's not easy. I hope they continue to try to make changes to fix ladder in that range.
Hog, executioner, nado, guards, freeze, mirror, zap, and mini Pekka. That's the deck I used to get 13 win streak and end up finishing challenger 3

I play a similar deck with pump and prince at 4.1k trophies range (took a long break from the game before coming back 2 months ago) but I feel like this might refresh things abit and make it more pro-active to play than my heavier version. Thx for sharing great content as always!

Edward Cranium agreed. So childish and not reflective of the sophisticated nature of the game at. From the precision of card placement to the difficulty to create a perfect deck, the dab makes the game seem like a joke and it’s embarrassing.

Hey thanks man! There are quite a lot of great CR content creators who deeply care :) I don't have any immediate plans on playing other games. With my channel growing faster than ever in addition to the fact that I still really enjoy the game, I can't see the need to switch. Never say never though!

what card is better on a golem deck as a defense/offense card hunter or night witch?
The fact the emotes cost $20 turns me off of ever really buying them. Changing the price to a cheaper option seems too little too late. In my opinion, supercell knew very well that f2p players would not but the emotes which makes the game catered even more towards those who spend money on the game. Just my 2 cents on the matter.
Edit: I also appreciate the fact you continue to be a voice for the f2p players in the community.

kstn not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to spend money in the game. With that said I and others like me would like to be able to use the emotes in game. The pay wall is already in the game with ladder being a prime example which is why I don't see the rationale in kicking even more dirt in the face of f2p players. Also giving that the f2p community makes up a sizeable portion of the entire CR community, I think that it would be wise of supercell to keep that in mind.

It is a game without ads! F2p players dont earn them ANY money, why would they do stuff for f2p, they only increase the games population. The only way for supercell to earn money is when people buy stuff so dont act like not paying money is something good. You are not contributing to the game you like, why do you think its such an achievement?

Herman I think you are missing the premise of my argument. Not everyone is even able to pay for items in game with real life currency. A couple reasons could be the country of residence has no electronic based form of currency or the inability to have access to a credit card. Instead of just saying screw those people who literally cannot spend money in game, why don't you just make emotes cost gems. Gems are hard to come by in large quantities without paying for them. At least that way, people can grind and spend maybe like a couple hundred gems for an emote. That way the whales can have all the emotes they want while still giving the f2p players a chance at getting them. This is similar to how card levels work. Whales can max their accounts quickly if they have the money while a f2p player can still max their account it will just take time. The problem I'm bringing up is accessibility. By making people pay for emotes, one is essentially cutting off access to a part of the game to a person which can cause them to stop playing the game. Although this isn't a big issue, if supercell continues down the path they are on, it will lead to the death of this game.

Hey ash :). I know it's early days but what are your thoughts on the rg so far?
A bit early to panic too much but as I said in yesterday's video I'm a bit concerned that he'll be even more annoying when over leveled. His win and use rates are both up a LOT at tournament level standard and slightly on ladder.
Fire spirits are great. I jumped from 3800 to 4400 in less than a week when I took out zap for fire spirits a long time ago. Best decision I ever made as a f2p. Still working even now. Basically kept the deck since I was 3400. Reached champion league and finished ranked the first time ever last season. Gonna try to hit 6000 once I get my last 2 ladder cards maxed. Running miner poison without maxed miner lol.

How would play it against a pekka deck?
I am a former golem player and I think I was pretty good.
But I felt limited as a golem player and switched to a miner giant witch deck.
Golem is my go to atm. I prefer golem beat down decks or some pekka deck. Will be watching this
Didn't watch the vid, but can you do the pompeyo4 loon cycle? I still use that deck on ladder and can't seem to break through 2.6hog even though pompeyo4 wins it whenever I check his statsroyale.

Weird because RG is so powerfull
Mortar overall on ladder has dipped slightly to 2.2% use rate. Maybe it's just your trophy range or luck/chance? I think Mortar is viable but in a bad spot with all the beatdown + the RG buff.

Hey Ash, my idea for a new challenge: 12 win GC using only 6/8 cards in your deck. The remaining two would be blind spots. I mean I definitely wouldn't make it but I'm curious if a skilled player could do this :)
