The producers, directors and actors are brilliant. Netflix got nothing on them! I hope they always manage to produce more, and for the real people to survive. They are teaching so much about survival, the astonishing nature, and friendship.

Would there have been any Rescue Helis comin' for them or did anyone else know they were up there? Well aside from the 2 dudes one being a Paramedic in the Tent that didn't help them much, aside from those 2 guys in the Tent... - what would they have done if no Rescue Helis came??!! :o :o :/ :/

Dave did a Hero's work. Unbelievable collaboration of guts. I both admired and cringed at Jim's pushing and pushing and pushing of Dave. It was an incessant drumbeat. I think we all just watched Jim push Dave into finding his inner Hero.
Of all the episodes I've watched this one is truly unbelievable. Dave & Jim are a true example of human endurance. If Jim was on that mountain with anyone else... He'd of been left for dead. Dave is an extraordinary human 👏👏

Out of all of the I should not be alive videos this has got to take the cake. So many bad things happened in this video it was ridiculous. One bad thing after another. It was a miracle that these two guys got out alive.

The fact that it was a steak dinner offered and not the promise of a million bucks tells me these men had a trust together many of us can't comprehend. When in such a situation, the "hero" doesn't set out to do super human feats but just to move forward one moment at a time due to a deep moral strength. Amazing story.

This is a story about the ultimate adventure. Climbing, to these 2 guys, and like anyone who dares!, Is to feel that ultimate RUSH, otherwise, why bother getting off the couch at all? I've had a few close calls myself, without those maximum moments, the stories wouldn't be worth the effort you put into looking for them! This is not just 2 amazing athletes getting into serious trouble, it's two guys that survived one of the most exciting adventures you can find. I'd say these 2 got a little more than their moneys worth on this expedition. Great story. Great Editing. A true documentary the getts you feeling adventuress as you watch and listen.
Dave and Jim made this story worth telling. Bravo guys, you made me laugh and cry. And the pregnant lady, absolutely terrifyingly amazing woman to get thru all that mayhem, hats off to one and all.
Well I moved to a sub tropical country because I hate snow. Seeing these men do it for fun blows my mind. Brave it not a strong enough word for these guy's.
I also want to say that was amazing how that pilot still went don’t because he saw the sos and didn’t fly out and radio it back I was always taught to only help if it doesn’t put yourself at risk of immediate danger
The only thing I don’t understand about the story is the guys that were originally at the cabin shelter. How did they plan to get out and why at no time did they not use that plan to go get help ? 🤔
My only issue with this story is I could never understand how they went so many days without water . They obviously had some just didn’t explain how they got it here. Would have loved to have known that honestly
If I am that pilot, I wouldn't land my plane. I would take that opportunity to call the nearest airport, tell them the coordinates of the place, and from his plane organize the rescue mission. That way, the rescue would have been conducted faster and safer to everybody without risking additional life and limbs. That, to me, would have been the wisest, safest and the most practical decision to be taken, considering the circumstances....
This was really something. This is the second one that the rescuers crashed. Scary stuff!! With all odds against them they survived. I wonder what those guys were doing in that little cabin? Obviously they were stranded too?? That confused me
Gotta truly commend Mark. Who would try to help strangers just cause of an SOS, WITH A PREGNANT WIFE WITH HIM. Truly selfless. If not for his thinking and radioing for help, they might not have started the rescue this early and Dave and Jim could've had it even harder. Don't know if they even knew about Mark's selfless act!

Definitely, I forgot to mention him. He landed in bad weather to try and find who the sos was for, a wonderful selfless man, like Dave.

Those kind of trips are planned so the pick up is a specific date and time - until then, they have no way to contact anyone.
