Not designed to be pretty? Well, if that is the case I'd say you failed a bit. It is about the prettiest tool cabinet I have seen at least. Great work!

First time I've seen that type of saw holder. Brilliant design! I enjoyed the music ;-) Oh, and that intro was fantastic!

Thanks! I had never seen it either which made it all the more satisfying when I saw how well it works!

Amazing craftsmanship as expected! The music... I don’t really care what’s played... if I can’t stand it I turn it down... I am here for your innovative projects, not the background music. Again, well done 👍

That introduction is the most accurate, evocative, perfect description of how it feels to have tools that don't quite have a place. The tension, the horror, yes even the pique of shame... true art!

BRAVO! BRAVO!! The crowd calls. Don't ever lose your sense of humor, I love it! I want to be you when I grow-up and have such a cool shop. I've been without internet for a while and I have missed your videos. I have a bowl of Pepperidge Farm Fish and I'm going to get caught up.

Wow, that was just beautiful. I’m beyond impressed by both the design and execution, and more than a little jealous of your workbench. Happy to be a new subscriber to your channel

Great job you have a beautiful collection of tools. May I ask how long have you been buying and collecting tools and how long have you been doing carpentry

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I started my first formal woodworking lessons (i have addended 3 different woodworking schools now) when I was 14 (I'm 22 right now) but I have had my own workbench and have been fiddling around with woodworking since I was 8. I really got into handtools only 3 years ago, so 80% of those tools are from the last 3 years. I can easily find good deals for them here so my collection has been growing fast!

Stuff & Whatnot - as expected it's beautiful and functional. I must admit the shock to see you even owned, much less used a ROS.

Aha i got my first one a year ago. I have to day I like them! Now using one to round over a corner is pretty a awful practice but my workbench storage is just ment to be quick and practical so shhhhh 🤫

You know the names of the pieces? I'm more familiar with tenor arias

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you! I'm not well-versed in operas, do they sing the whole song in one language or do they switch at times? I can recognize some parts as being frencg but the other parts I don't understand at all.

@ Many operas are in Italian, especially the classics. German gets tossed in here and there.

I really enjoy watching your construction methods and the sequencing of the interactive elements of your design. Your vision is quite playful as you film the action of your plan going together. The way you exercise each layer of the design with ease and precision draws me into the statement made by your selection of music as if you are painting rather than building in three dimensional forms. Very impressive for someone so young as yourself. You sound humbled by your talent and I so hope you are to enable more proficiency as you age. Brava la artistry.

Thank you for the act of defiance - very relaxing for my morning treadmill stroll. Wouldn’t mind hearing more, b/c I agree about the annoying techno on other vids. And nice layout on the saw till.

Fantastic work! I had to pause a few times during the video to look resignedly at my static holder for measuring tools…. You know it would be so much better if it slid out… and pivoted… and it could rotate…. Good lord what have you done to me?…. Looks like I’ve got to get started…..:)

Everything this is better when it's needlessly complex. Mostly when it comes to too storage ;)

J'aime bien la façon que tu as rangé tes scies Veritas. je pense que je vais voler ton idée pour mes 2 scies a tenon de Veritas qui traînent sur mon établi depuis plus qu'un an.
    Merci

@Ebenisterie Éloïse Oui tu m'as inspiré.

I love your work, but I wish you would loose the music. I'd much rather listen to the sound of your tools. This way I just had to mute the sound.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Thanks for your feedback! Some people love the music but you are not the first to dislike it. What I am more steering towards right now is keeping the music but making it more quiet so that you can hear hand tools better

Ah, yes... Just beautiful. The file holder being non- symmetrical and multi-functional, I love it.
I had been building a custom, all wood, utility bed for my little, rusty truck until, well, the health of my truck started going south. The bed now sits in storage, half finished, wondering what to do. Was going to be my "piece de resistance". Alas, I must rethink that.

If I could love this 1000x, I would. Your attention to detail is impeccable. I just started wood working 3 months ago. I decided to only use hand tools. I wonder if this level of precision will ever be possible for me. 🥹
