I like the fact for clarity you show doing this job with the engine out of the vehicle. I wish you could also show doing this in the vehicle as its going to take some ingenuity to get this job done due to the limited space.
Quick question on a timing belt I know you gotta lock the cam gears so they dont spin but I havent seen anything about locking cam phasers it's a 16 jeep compass latitude 2.4L dual vvt it has 2 cam phasers up top do I gotta lock those or do they even spin when the chain comes off
I am looking for a video on replacement of the timing chain and chain guide but it’s a 2015 Jeep Patriot limited 2.0 LT engine , I have everything off but didn’t touch the chain or crankshaft pulley
Good morning, I have one of those jeeps and I haven't been able to start it when I assemble the multi-air system. The jeep is without compression in the cylinders. It doesn't want to turn me on.
Did you use the special to install the multi air system? If you don’t you can bend valves and will lose compression. Unsure why it was even removed or the air pump for the purpose of timing chain video. You can also walk the chain off and on the cam sprocket without removal.

Any way to do this in chassis on a renegade? Is there enough room?
Do you have a video for a 09 jeep patriot 2.0l
I'm trying to replace the head cylinder and just want reassurance on the steps I take.
Did you ever find anything?
