My issue is that whenever I start feeling any sort of confidence and security and begin building the bricks of trust again, he winds up doing the same shit again. It's either a straight up lie or several lies of omission....he's very good at those. He's currently holding a friendship where he's chosen to not tell his new female friend about me. Any time I voice my concerns and an honest about my insecurities, he immediately grows defensive. That is not support. I did not ask to be lied to, he chose to break my trust, but now he feels trusting again is solely in my hands. I feel that this is not real love. With all he's done to break my trust, the fact that I'm still with him should show how strong my love for him is yet he can't even do his part in helping me trust again. It's just so sad. How did I get here. I didn't respect myself, that's how.

Our marriage has survived many things; most of these things challenged us, wounded us, and eventually made us more trusting of each other. Well, we just had a terrible situation unfold on us in ways I did not anticipate. It seems we are beginning to try to fix the trust that was destroyed. Little update. Though it will still take time to rebuild it has been improving. I can’t agree more with your advice about letting them vent. I actually used the time to reflect and listen which had made want to be a better husband. There is still work to do but my marriage is worth it. I found your video at the perfect time in my life. This was just what I needed to hear. Ironically I came across your IG while searching hashtags and a snippet of this was posted actually on my Birthday in February. I betrayed my boyfriend of almost 3 years trust first by omission and then when asked if that was all I said no but there was something else. Both were things of my past nothing done during the course of the relationship. It’s been a year since the incident and 4 months since our breakup. We still communicate however are not together. I fasted and prayed and spoke over my marriage about restoration and called out scriptures. I also put on worship music and danced before the Lord. I genuinely gave my heart completely over to God and gave him everything. I danced in pain but I still knew I had to fall into the hands of the Lord. I went to God and to Christian counsel, but I made sure nothing negative came out of my mouth which allows even more attacks from the enemy. Put God first, seek him first and then He will make your path straight. Give her space and go to God. Send her scriptures daily, just one. Wait upon the Lord and he will renew it all. I’m going through struggles and I’m having to give everything to God even though it’s very hard to do. Your heart and mind tend to want to go different directions. We can’t trust our own decisions but you can fully trust that the Lord will lead you. Watch fireproof! That movie came in the mail a few days before my husband walked out. I watched it daily and spent a lot of time in prayer. I prayed over my marriage, I pleaded the blood over it and the Gods protection. I got close to God, yes bc I needed him but also to get close to him. One week later my husband came back and 9 years later we are still together. Prayer works. Keep the faith.

The other day my now ex went on my browser and found my old dating site, I had no pics up, I didn't cheat on her, I didn't message anyone nobody messaged me. I would never cheat on her, I love her so much, she packed up her stuff and left I told.her I've had that for years and years, and when we starting dating I deactivated it, but recently when we got into our fights and arguments I just when back on but like I said I didn't put pics up or message anyone, i didn't know how to cope and express myself. I've been going through alot of pressure idk I just feel like such an asshole. I showed her I didn't messaged anyone, she feels hurt and I understand that idk what to do
So we didn't get married as planned because I allowed insecurities to come up from my past relationship. Since then I asked God to deliver me and he has but things haven't been the same between us. I have been trying very hard in my actions to show him I was wrong and that I was under attack from the enemy. I have learned so much about myself and I have made growth in my spiritual walk with God even more so since this happened. Do you feel since we're still together that he will still want to marry me? I know I hurt his feelings and I have been praying God will completely heal him so we can become husband and wife.
Angella Turnage honest I could tell answer that question. But my strong advice is to continue to be transparent with yourself as you will need that especially if it becomes marriage. You also should make sure that no matter what, you do not let your emotions dictate the next step. Stay conscious of what's really happening and be aware of the truth of your stage. Marriage is the next step. Staying too long just outside of it will pose problems. Keep moving toward the goal until you know in your head (not your heart) that you are on course.
Issues with "the voices" are definitely a problem I have. My boyfriend confessed a lie of omission and it has really screwed with me. I am definitely not the same rational person I was. Things that used to not bother me, bother me now... I'm trying, but it's hard. And what can we do when we are harboring a little resentment but are still trying to be patient?
Sorry to hear your plight. To be honest it's not complicated to solve this however, the mixture of pain and emotional tie is what stops you from saving yourself. If you simply cannot trust this person again then you need to leave. If you have a good hope of rebuilding trust then morlve past it in faith. The second option has risks though.

See how it goes with the counselling. Maybe there's a truth that has not been spoken. There is usually a reason why someone accuses another of infidelity especially when they have been guilty of it themself. My view is that you see it to the end point so you can say you did your best. My husband has lost faith in me and our marriage. Although we have just welcomed a beautiful baby girl into this world I am afraid that any day now he is going to leave. I have been the offender and I thought I was fixing things and I may be handling this incorrectly. I just feel that I am now at a point where I am losing everything. It doesn't help that what we are arguing over is actually 5 years old. I am trying to be patient but he only looks at me from back then. I don't want to put to many details on here but I would love some more personal feedback as to how to save my marriage. So we didn't get married as planned because I allowed insecurities to come up from my past relationship. Since then I asked God to deliver me and he has but things haven't been the same between us. We are still together but I feel he hasn't completely let it go that I showed him I didnt trust him at that time. I started getting paranoid whenever he went somewhere and I expressed how I felt. I have been trying very hard in my actions to show him I was wrong and that I was under attack from the enemy. I have learned so much about myself and I have made growth in my spiritual walk with God even more so since this happened. Do you feel since we're still together that he will still want to marry me? I know I hurt his feelings and I have been praying God will completely heal him so we can become husband and wife.
Angella Turnage honest I could tell answer that question. But my strong advice is to continue to be transparent with yourself as you will need that especially if it becomes marriage.
You also should make sure that no matter what, you do not let your emotions dictate the next step. Stay conscious of what's really happening and be aware of the truth of your stage. Marriage is the next step. Staying too long just outside of it will pose problems. Keep moving toward the goal until you know in your head (not your heart) that you are on course.

Issues with "the voices" are definitely a problem I have. My boyfriend confessed a lie of omission and it has really screwed with me. I am definitely not the same rational person I was. Things that used to not bother me, bother me now... I'm trying, but it's hard.

To be honest it's not complicated to solve this however, the mixture of pain and emotional tie is what stops you from saving yourself.
If you simply cannot trust this person again then you need to leave.
If you have a good hope of rebuilding trust then morlve past it in faith. The second option has risks though.

See how it goes with the counselling. Maybe there's a truth that has not been spoken. There is usually a reason why someone accuses another of infidelity especially when they have been guilty of it themself. My view is that you see it to the end point so you can say you did your best. It may seem like it's over at various points but it often needs a bit more patience. What do you think?
