You make an interesting point. I think it's fair to say that using the beefsteak mushroom itself is simple, trim off the outer skin, slice it and then fry in butter. But there's nothing wrong with adding a bit of spice, relish and showmanship to our lives now and again! Thanks for your comment and engagement! :-)
