It is very interesting to watch the video as a German. The pronunciation of the cities is also very amusing.
We can’t even pronounce American cities!
Ikr and conversely, I love hearing Germans (and Europeans in general) pronounce Chicago as "Chee-KAH-ko" when they first arrive here, when it reality it's "SHih-ka-goe."

59:30 This Alpitonic HPC has 4 75kW modules. If the ID3 goes below 75kW the Taycan can get 225kW.

Hey there! I am watching your channel for two years and I am living in Munich/Germany. It is so nice to see you guys in my neighborhood. I own a Model 3 Performance and a 997 Mk. 2 Cabrio and I am realizing once more how nice it is to have no speed limit on German Autobahn. 😀

Actually Kyle the Cross Turismo Turbo and Turbo S max out at 155mph (250km/h - on gps). The sedans are 10km/u faster. Great tripmovie 👍
The Alpitronic has 4 x 75 kW modules. By plugging they Taycan in first, it reserves all modules. Too bad it is not capable of releasing once reservede modules on the fly when the 1st car tapers.
As you plugged the ID.3 first on your second try, it reserved two modules and left two more for the Taycan to use.
Loving all these road trip videos! This really makes me want to get a Taycan Cross Turismo. We currently have a M3 LR RWD and MY Performance. Maybe in a few years I can justify selling the M3 and dropping 100 grand on the Porsche, I just wish they were a bit cheaper as the options just makes the price sky rocket.

That Volcano Grey Metallic is the best color to blend in the off-roady bits of Cross Turismo. I still can't decide if they should be hidden or embraced with one of the lighter colors, like Carrara White Metallic, which gives it a nice contrast.
Surprised to see the windshield wipers on the ID3 are 'opposing', not 'parallel'.

Looking at the 2023 ID4 I’m stuck deciding on pro or or the s with the smaller battery.
Is it enough range ?! I do small trips with them fam 1 or 2 times a month and have a daily commute of 60 miles.
How much does it cost to charge on those stations compared to gas? ID.4 Owner here in the US just curious about it. Planning a Euro trip soon and btw the ID.3 in the US will sell a lot I don’t understand why VW didn’t bring it here.
Much much cheaper. I pay about $0,28 per kWh at fast chargers (Tesla superchargers), while petrol is $8,74 per gallon. So the price difference is so huge that it doesn't make sense for me to go back to driving a petrol or diesel. Home charging is even cheaper by the way.
Did you check tire pressure on that ID. 3. ?
Are wireless charging parking spots being considered? Like a cellphone, just place the car over the charging pad, wait, drive away when done? I assume there's a risk of losing a testicle or growing another with all that current leakage, but thinking cars will be much like cellphones as far as battery advancement's concerned. You could charge your car while you wait in traffic, get groceries, etc, without having to plug it in.

You can rent pretty cool cars in some parts of Germany. BMW M3, Porsche 911 etc.

Do they not have deer or smaller wild animals along the autobahns in Deutschland? I'd be afraid of hitting an animal at 250 km/hr, not being able to see them early enough at such high speeds at night...
In places with high risk of wild animals, speed is usually restricted. There are also special warning signs indicating this.
Along some Roads there is also a fence, preventing most bigger animals from crossing the street.
In the end, there is still a risk which you have to consider when driving fast.

You should drive model S or Model 3 Performance in Germany. Eben current Model S has more accessleration then Taycan Turbo!
In Germany we have a saying that goes "Freie Fahrt für freie Bürger!" (Freeride for free citizens, Freeride meaning free of speed limits)
You should go with a Tesla Model 3 or Modell y performance to germany
