The entire thing of Mr Fantastic as a Duelist is based on the assumption that a single leaked image is 100% correct instead of just a placeholder. In the past, characters like C&D and Venom were also leaked as Duelist, and you know how that turned out.
Or he could be a first multi-role in Marvel Rivals. His main role is Duelist, but his secondary role is Vanguard. Because like the video said, his skill set can sort of act like a Vanguard in a certain moment

It seems like there are three kinds of duelists in my opinion. there's the Assassin light type, then there's your mid range to long range type, and then you have a Bruiser/warrior type of duelist.
@@scottwagner2317any dps that can tank a little more than the average duelist right now the only bruiser dps are wolverine and iron fist. then magik and black panther slightly below that. they all generate bonus hp by just being in battle. apart from wolverine, none of them are actually tanky. they just can take more hits than the average dps. mr fantastic seems more like wolverine where he can actually tank a lot of hits
I would further break it down into high mobility duelists like Spider Man, Black Panther, Iron Fist and Star Lord who are hyper mobile swinging, climbing, jumping, leaping or flying around the map.
Honestly, S1 feels like left over content that couldn't make into the launch. Aside from Krakoa, New York is the only major place lore-wise to not have a map, and by adding 1 vanguard, 2 strategists and 3 Duelists, the select character chart is perfectly filled out.

They did reveal 5 heroes just before launch, so I could see an average of 5 or so per season to make sense. FF + Ultron, possibly also Blade to fit the new map. Especially when we've got team-ups to consider, for both existing and new additions. There's also the fact that seasons should be longer than S0 is/was, with the battle passes offering twice as much as S0's alongside being $10 instead of $5. It should mean we've got a lot of content to pack into all future seasons.
At this point they need to make hybrid "duelists" bruh 1:4 or even 1:5 ratio is crazy, and they keep adding them. Wolverine, magic, mr fantastic, iron fist can become ones

My guess is blade gets controlled by the first vampire varnae just like in the comics. When defeated at the end of season 1 we then get blade as a playable charater.
Honestly instead of Ultron, they should do Silver Surfer as a strategist. It'd go better with having the F4 dropping and give us a new strategist at the same time. Plus he's a really popular character so people would love it. He's one of my favorites, so if they did it, it would be the first time I play as a healer lol. Usually just hate doing it and won't bother, but I would just to play him. Guarantee there's more out there that feel the same.

Am really excited to see how jhonny (human torch) is gonna be played. Specially because i have grown up with the Fantastic 4 stories from marvel series. So am super excited to play him.
This game and its developers are so sick. Already lots of content with good content dropping. Game is polished and feels good to play. Not to mention the potentially INFINITE heroes still yet to play lol. Eventually the game will have all of the X-MEN, Fantastic 4 heroes and villains, daredevil, dr. Octopus and green goblin etc….super cool game.
By the looks of it they are just doing group releases on fresh seasons instead of constantly trickling heroes. Which, I like as that won't shake up the seasons mid-seasons and let them focus on balancing.

I think it balances out with the fact the role ratio is very big, Having 2 vanguard (The Thing & Mr. Fant), 1 duelist (Human Torch) 2 strategist (Ultron and Sue) Might be not too bad considering we have a few vanguards and strategist rn
That Fantastic Four image has me wonder. There’s five characters there, the Fantastic Four, and then there’s their robot HERBIE from the ‘70s cartoon. It’s possible he could be is own character, but I wonder if he’s part of Sue Storm (if she as a healing move, maybe that’s how see does it) since she’s interacting with him in that Marvel Rivals art. I know we’ve seen the leaked models for most of them already, but I still find it interesting that their costumes seem to be inspired by their ‘90s costume...the Heroes Reborn costumes and the costumes they had right before that during the Onslaught stuff. I was think Dracula might show up in this because of that emblem, cool to see that seems to be the case. The emblem makes me think Marvel Rivals Dracula may be way more Nosferatu looking. Although he probably also has his Francis Ford Coppola Dracula red armor since that emblem has him with his sword.
We need a strategist with some sort of cleanse ability. I can already see payload maps being even worse now that human torch can seemingly completely stop any push with all of his area denial abilities.
@@xyo1337True, he could make an excellent Duelist, but at the moment, we have only a handful of Vanguards compared to Duelists. They should just add a few more options for the Vanguard and Strategist classes.
I'm genuinely excited for the F4. As someone who is more of a flex player, not really maining anything, getting 4 new heroes to mess around on is amazing. I'm hoping they all come out at once, but I'm okey with a staggered release.

Boys, I'm 32 and The Fantastic 4 is one of my favorite superhero groups. I got into them super early and I've basically been disappointed by every single adaptation that they try to do with the 4. I cannot express how happy I am that we're getting The Fantastic 4 in Rivals. It's crazy that they're the first addition to the game, couldn't be happier.
I EXTREMELY WANT Thing and Mr Fantastic as Vanguards and Sue as a Strategist. I play Flex and I am forced to play Healer and Tank a lot. Mr. Fantastic just makes sense as the leader type to be up front and protect his team. His inflated form even looks like a tank. COME ON NETEASE!
I assume Sue Storm will be called Invisible Woman in the game if the others are called Mister Fantastic, Human Torch and the Thing. Shame they made her a Strategist when she should obviously be a Vanguard.
I think they may do 6 heroes in season 1 but this is only because of 1) the upcoming movie launch 2) new game so you can sustain the initial hype your game has had 3) fuck over watch
The season was leaked then officially confirmed showing the map and heroes, it confirms all the leaks and hence it’s an updated video of the info. With leaks the info always changes and when things are official I will cover them, rather than leave you with potentially outdated videos

I assume they they are gonna split the seasons so at the start we got the continuation of the story with the fantastic four being added then half way through the season we got more characters advancing the story
I had a dream last night that hit monkey was added into the game, and I was the first to play him. I woke up and was so upset that it was a dream, lol. It's good to hear that 4 new heroes are being added! Hoping hit monkey gets added in season 2!

Am really excited to see how jhonny (human torch) is gonna be played. Specially because i have grown up with the Fantastic 4 stories from marvel series. So am super excited to play him.
This game and its developers are so sick. Already lots of content with good content dropping. Game is polished and feels good to play. Not to mention the potentially INFINITE heroes still yet to play lol. Eventually the game will have all of the X-MEN, Fantastic 4 heroes and villains, daredevil, dr. Octopus and green goblin etc….super cool game.
I have a theory I think this Ultron won't turn up to be a villain, he'll be a perfect creation and the true protector of earth and humanity .
Mr Fantastic should be a vanguard...kind of a missed opportunity.
He probably is I think, but he might be more of a hybrid just like storm is.
Mr Fantastic seems to be a type of duelist like Storm . He will be here more as a support than a pure DPS .

By the looks of it they are just doing group releases on fresh seasons instead of constantly trickling heroes. Which, I like as that won't shake up the seasons mid-seasons and let them focus on balancing.

@@usrIO30581l they literally added namor, luna snow, squirrel girl, cloak&dagger and jeff, literally characters who are not known by like 95% of people. Hell even Psylocke, Iron Fist, Magik & Adam are very much still lesser known characters.

That Fantastic Four image has me wonder. There’s five characters there, the Fantastic Four, and then there’s their robot HERBIE from the ‘70s cartoon. It’s possible he could be is own character, but I wonder if he’s part of Sue Storm (if she as a healing move, maybe that’s how see does it) since she’s interacting with him in that Marvel Rivals art.
I know we’ve seen the leaked models for most of them already, but I still find it interesting that their costumes seem to be inspired by their ‘90s costume...the Heroes Reborn costumes and the costumes they had right before that during the Onslaught stuff.
I was think Dracula might show up in this because of that emblem, cool to see that seems to be the case. The emblem makes me think Marvel Rivals Dracula may be way more Nosferatu looking. Although he probably also has his Francis Ford Coppola Dracula red armor since that emblem has him with his sword.
Soo Fantastic four is from the same universe from spiderman and It's the same human torch we read in spiderman lore. NICE AND BIG W !!
We need a strategist with some sort of cleanse ability. I can already see payload maps being even worse now that human torch can seemingly completely stop any push with all of his area denial abilities.

Boys, I'm 32 and The Fantastic 4 is one of my favorite superhero groups. I got into them super early and I've basically been disappointed by every single adaptation that they try to do with the 4. I cannot express how happy I am that we're getting The Fantastic 4 in Rivals. It's crazy that they're the first addition to the game, couldn't be happier.
I EXTREMELY WANT Thing and Mr Fantastic as Vanguards and Sue as a Strategist. I play Flex and I am forced to play Healer and Tank a lot.
Mr. Fantastic just makes sense as the leader type to be up front and protect his team. His inflated form even looks like a tank. COME ON NETEASE!

I assume Sue Storm will be called Invisible Woman in the game if the others are called Mister Fantastic, Human Torch and the Thing. Shame they made her a Strategist when she should obviously be a Vanguard.

The season was leaked then officially confirmed showing the map and heroes, it confirms all the leaks and hence it’s an updated video of the info.
With leaks the info always changes and when things are official I will cover them, rather than leave you with potentially outdated videos
