  • I sometimes forget what an incredible success. The Signia insio AX 7 has been for us & our clinic and how it’s been life changing for our patients. Today one of patients saws delighted to share with me her experience, and it looks like a number of friends will be coming in giving him a try to!

I’ve just had a pair of AX 5 Insio hearing aids. I have mixed feelings about them. But then again I’m in the severe to profound range of hearing which makes setting them up very difficult. The little man that lives inside the hearing aids is novel. He can make various adjustments to your aids.
Linking to Bluetooth on your phone is a bit hit and miss. I usually have to completely turn off my phone then restart it again each morning. With Phonak aids there isn’t a problem. They link directly to the Bluetooth setting on your phone while the Signia aids are linked to your phone through the Accessibility setting, then under Hearing Control Devices
I mentioned how complicated hearing aids are now becoming for elderly users, to my Audiologist. She simply replied that they have to go for NHS hearing aids. Hmm.

      Thanks for your feedback.
As you say the degree of loss will have an impact on how much benefit you receive from any aid. You really should be turning your phone off each day as it is effectively a computer you can make calls on, certainly if a laptop gets glitchy you would turn it off & back on. As you say the little man can be helpful! You are right with some elderly patients we have to take the less is more approach. I wouldn't say they have to go to the NHS our latest video about a gent who moved from NHS aids to Unitron V3-RT aids shows with imagination & determination it can be done!
