You must not have served National Service (or otherwise might have had your major parades being replaced by lower-key ceremonies due to bad weather or whatever). This march is played at most events (Passing Out Parades, OCS Commissioning, SAF Day etc.), but most combat arms [Artillery, Signals, Combat Engineers] have their own regimental marches. The Singapore Army de facto adops the Singapore Infantry Regiment march as its regimental quick march if the unit does not have one (e.g. Supply & Transport when I was serving.)

Assuming of course that you’re male and you are deemed fit for service, your time will soon arrive anyway. If you have to parade, and you certainly will at least twice in your service life, you’ll have at least one or two of these pieces stuck in your head.
(Also, for the avoidance of doubt, I was not a military musician - I was a rigger; I packed parachutes for a living during my 2 years of conscription.)
