This drone kept popping up on your page and i kept passing it up,,I thought,just another MJX camera drone,this morning I clicked on it to watch it,wow! Now, I have some expensive drones,with gimbals,but this is what I’ve been looking for,a smaller size,no gimbal but electronic stabilization and good quality video,if the price is right,I’m getting one.This was a truly good video on this drone.(I don’t like the landing gear)
Great review! Finally, MJX realised what they need to do to make the best budget drone once again. If they can make their next drone foldable with EIS, they will become the king of the budget drone.
I think that we are entering an era where every done over 150.00 will need to have a very good camera. This new MJX bugs just represents the direction that the industry is going. By this time next year, someone will make a budget 3 axis gimbal drone for around 195.00 or less. This drone will have exceptional video quality, perhaps with a 12 mg. 4k camera. Unfortunately this will put many drone companies out of business.

I think electronic stabilization is the future of drones. No gimbals to get damaged. I've had stabilization on two cell phones and it works beautifully. My present phone is a Pixel 4 and I can takes sharp videos or photos out of the car when it's moving at normal speed. You can see a video they took from a cab in NY city in their ads. Amazing!
FYI: For us that do SAR & ES, we love waypoints. Any cheap "practice" drone that can do them well is a good thing. So always show them please. Lt. Col. Clark

Dang! Not bad for $270 with 3 batteries and a bag! (Amazon price kit.) However the batteries concern me since I don't have much faith in ever getting new ones. Definitely worth the 3 battery kit. But 300 minute charging time? Sheesh! That's a bit much. I wonder if a more powerful power station would help? As for the drone, the flight characteristics seem pretty darn good. Smooth and straight forward. Image quality is damn good for the price and certainly useable. It does seem to have the curve horizon and some sun flares. The white balance seems to not be all that smooth in transition. The stills are really good and the video is quite good. I did notice quite a bit of jerkiness when you move in any direction other than slow forward. I assume that is the EIS working. Still not bad for the money. As for the resolution, I'm impressed. Granted you upscaled the 1080p but really smooth and crisp and clear. And the 4K! Heck! I'd have a hard time telling if it wasn't a DJI Mavic Mini image aside from the EIS jerkiness. Not a bad little guy for the money. I love your Gladiator by the way!
That EIS really looks promising. Perhaps we could get a montage style video, Captain, please? And I wonder how much editing can improve the quality of the video.
That is NOT a truck....that’s a TANK lol....it’s massive!! ...was about to buy the HS700D based on your video of that machine, but saw a comment on there from someone about this drone....so over I came to watch this.....few minutes later...just ordered this model as my first drone....hope I don’t end up in any trees....or crashing into rooftops.
this is a superb mjx drone so far. hopefully they will add 2 axis gimbal and a foldable arms. half chrome and quadcopter 101 recommends this one. nice review Cap.

@Leo Lopez : I think you made a good choice . Bugs Drones are great and this one seems to be a home run for the price. I just ordered one. I have a Mavic Air 2 and a mini , but I like to have a low cost drone to start the day.
Another great review Cap'n - and the image quality on the video was pretty impressive, the EIS works quite well. My heart is still set on a Mavic Mini for my next drone, but if I was just starting out again this one would definitely get serious consideration. Keep safe, and happy flying!

For fast-fly you need to stitch the drone. Down and forward same time, but after one sekond stopp the down motion and only forward - the drone stay in 60degresse positon but move forward very fast...

Damn! Captain, MJX has released the B12 with foldable arms and EIS. Available on Banggood! Please get one to compare. If anyone knows if it is a knockoff of a different drone, please let me know. I have the B20 arriving in a few days. I wish I would have waited, of course I never buy without the Captain’s approval. Will it be just as good as the B20, we’ll have to see.
Got two bugs drones. Bug4w and bugs 12eis both do 4k. But now since upgrade I can no longer use 12eis the app just keeps going back to start. ???? Can any body out there please help as unable to use it anymore.
Hi Very informative video. I never owned a drone before. Have Samsung S10 and S10+ cell phones. Am confused on how to connect to Wi-Fi drone. Does this show after you download the app?
Assuming that your 'phones support 802.11ac, the 5GHz standard, connection should be straightforward. First check for the drone in your 'phone's WiFi list. It will be something like drone_438D9D, and connect. Next, start up the MRC PRO app and you should be there. I have had connection difficulties with my OnePlus 5 'phone and JJRC X11, which was resolved by switching to Aeroplane mode, then turning the WiFi back on. Why that sorted out the problem, I have no idea.

4Ks impressive isn’t it, I wasn’t much of a wildlife watcher ie( David Attenborough) but I have quite a few of he’s wildlife dvds in 4k, and the animals, birds, fish, and insects, look absolutely glorious even my mother loves the picture.1080p doesn’t touch it, And the monkeys on Gibraltar, seen them in real life and in 4K fabulous.
This drone looks great. However im wondering what happens when the battery gets low. Will it return and land or just do nothing. Thanks for the help in advance.

I believe the MJX Bugs 12 is essentially the same as this, except it folds.
Mjx is spot on nice again, this time with a very good camera with very good EIS. And a generous FOV as well, which is a must for me. I like it!

Drones are not that noisy anymore. I do not edit out any sounds at all.
