    Why do u need to load the member load considering beam sections? It is already considered in selfweight, you are already doubling up the application of loads to the member

    Dear sir, good video , please make the eccentrical footing...and please compare the etabs Vs staad Pro of buildings design showing the results

    Peak storey shear rangea from 3700 kn to some where 10000 to 15000 kn .and globak deflection ranges in the range of 500 to 1400 mm.is it o k?

    why not consider wall load. When we consider self wt. why we consider again wt. of beam as a member load and slab load as a floor load.

    Why you defined response spectrum for both x and z simultaneously?

    Damping ratio for concrete is 0.05 (5%).

    Shravan, can I ask if possible, after the RSA what would be the next step to proceed with the design of beams, columns, slab and foundation? Thanks in advance.

    Damping ratio to be input 5 not 0.5, also response spectrum will be two separate cases x and z directions.

    As you have already added self-weight why you have added member weight again?

    Dear sir,
    Why you define floor load to positive direction. Why don’t define -1 direction, Explain me please , and when we compare -1 VS 1 what something difference or not bro. Thank you.

    Once u give self wt, then why did give slab self load separately, .125×25

    • @civilengineeringbyshravan9596
      @civilengineeringbyshravan9596  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because in seismic load case it will take member load and elements load along with self weight 👍🏻

    • @BaldevSingh-ls1oq
      @BaldevSingh-ls1oq ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right. But in the video u have applied self weight again for member weight and element weight. In fact for member wt. Wall load is required to be applied. In element wt rather it should be floor load, and floor finish and live load is required to be applied.
