Yes it so easy and so much fun making websites with Zip. Test ideas. You still need to know a few WordPress basics, but we will help with video training. It sure beats manually doing everything, it get tedious to think of the word, find the images, it causes people to never get their website up, and it's not their fault, its just a lot. This really impressive, Adam. Everything I've learnt about building Wordpress websites I learned from you and Ferdy. I've since added Javascript, HTML, CSS and PHP skills and used that to co-found our own dev agency out of South Africa. We've been looking for ways to scale up our dev process and ZIP is a game changer. Like, yes, this doesn't replace developers, but it replaces a whole lot of tedious tasks and processess in the workflow that small agencies like ours could really do without, like prototyping in XD and Figma. I especially love that the links work, unlike in most Elementor template kits. Really can't wait to get in and try this.

Amazing Adam, thank you for speeding up the wordpress developers in the AI race. It would be nice if we can save our favorite templates,plugins,settings combo created either by AI or by manual import and Instruct AI to use that like a blueprint. In that way we can complete a full project in auto mode with minimum edit.
WordPress already has these capabilities in some form or another... including cloning tools, reusable blocks and backups that can be migrated easily. Adam and Gutenberg will soon take over the world with the tech presented in this video once the word gets out. Pagebuilders are fast becoming obsolete and done. You are looking at the future as we speak, and it looks very promising to us all.

But what if our each project is unique and we can brainstorm with AI to build our project or helping us connect the dots, like AI can browse the plugin repository and suggest the plugins suitable for our project by checking plugin updates, comments, reviews etc., and giving us top 3 choices including a custom coding option to achieve the functionality without plugin. Yes the future looks very promising :)

Once it is exported to WP do you complete control? I know you said you can install plug ins etc...but how does it work with page builders like elementor, divi, beaverbuilder etc? Once you export it to your own hosting, domain etc is the content 100% yours or does zipwp retain the actual rights so your unable to sell to clients etc? Gutenberg is making massive improvements and has evolved significantly. When was the last time you tried using it? Nonetheless, we are considering adding support for Elementor sometime in the near future.
i love this because it supports Gutenberg and not another page builder. you need to compare the speed of a Gutenberg native site vs a page builder. everything including the WordPress admin interface runs notably faster. Gutenberg has come a very long way.

Thank you. Let me explain the 24 hour thing. It's due to costs. We anticipate 10k websites created per day. So with the 24 hours, we will only have to pay to host around 15k sites at any given time. But if the expiration was 7 days, this would 7X our costs with hosting 100k websites at any given time. So it's economics.
How does it handle the styling? Is there an FSE theme that it uses as the foundation for all of these? Is it possible to use it to create a starter theme that we could then pull down and then adjust the code? Change the included color themes, etc? Also does it just create the site from WP and the block editor alone, or is there some kind of ZipWP plugin that we have to keep installed after migrating it away?
Yes, we could Block Based FSE theme, but people are still not used to theme. So currently we use Astra theme and Spectra Builder which is based on the Block Editor (Gutenberg)
I would love a single page option. Also if I have the full text/copy, I would like to plug that in, and have it design just the visual layout of the site. Also if it can randomly generate new visual designs, so i have a few more options to choose from that would be great!! Really excited for this to come out. Zip it! 🤐 wow Adam, you're always at the forefront of web design! Question: where do the templates (themes) come from. Are they auto generated or do you have a library based on biz type? Another way to ask this question is: if i used Zip to generate 3 possible website layouts for the same website, would each be different? Or is this not the point... 🤔
Right now, AI is not capable of design. It is capable is decision making, planning, and text generation. This is why all the other attempted AI website builders are flawed in my view. We take a different approach, a design first approach. So we have hundreds of designs that have been specially made for this purpose. Most websites follow similar structures, we have all these structure variations. We are already building the ability to choose the layout design you want. So Zip will select a few core layouts that would be good for the website, you tell Zip which you want to use.

Zip it! 🤐 wow Adam, you're always at the forefront of web design! Question: where do the templates (themes) come from. Are they auto generated or do you have a library based on biz type?
Another way to ask this question is: if i used Zip to generate 3 possible website layouts for the same website, would each be different? Or is this not the point... 🤔
Right now, AI is not capable of design. It is capable is decision making, planning, and text generation. This is why all the other attempted AI website builders are flawed in my view. We take a different approach, a design first approach. So we have hundreds of designs that have been specially made for this purpose. Most websites follow similar structures, we have all these structure variations.
We are already building the ability to choose the layout design you want. So Zip will select a few core layouts that would be good for the website, you tell Zip which you want to use.

Hey Richard, it is beautifully responsive and more performant that Elementor out of the box. But this is just WordPress and you have all the freedoms to add anything you want to your website.
