so a "macro" of him hitting 4 as a hibana player correlates to him "having more info than humanly possible." that was always insane to me and honestly puts a dark spot on Pengus career.
Well, thats what pengu accused him of, if you make a hypothesis you don't change it to be correct at the end. Esl likely should have given him a chance to prove the accusations wrong. Whether he was cheating or not he was just insane back then. No one had seen talent like that before. Obviously there would be someone suspicious and try to report him, just for a check by the esl officials
@@jacobgreene4331 Thats exactly what they did, they made an hour long video explaining that its a very common bug in the cheat detection, even other pro players spoke out saying it had happened to them, but ESL looked the other way. I think its very fishy, specially considering the fact pengu reported him for wallhacks, yet he was banned for a macro, completely different thing

I have so much love for Shaiiko. Mans got banned for 2 years but never gave up. He knew his skill was unmatched and waited patiently.
It's tough to see Pengu just call another pro out without really looking too much into it. He just couldn't wrap his head around the idea that someone could be better than the whole team of G2/Penta combined.

Benja broke the SI kill record this time but if i remember correctly shaikko and benja had the exact same number of kills when benja entered the Grand Final. But at this point Benja had played 4 matches more than shaikko. So just imagine what would have happened if BDS played a couple of more matches

if players like pengu command such influence , that even when they are salty and way out of line , their accusations carry such weight in addition to being accuser , prosecuter and judge in one person , while the people signing responsible are just waving off, then something is deeply wrong.

I used to comment on these videos, defending Pengu saying it wasn’t just him who reported shaiiko. I always made clear I was never hating but I remember getting angry in one video calling people “fanboys” and I’m sorry about that.

shaiiko is currently +125 kd on siegeGG in the last 3 months. he was +83 on entry at S.I, he was the highest rated after S.I, and Highest entry of +22 at S.I. if anyone still thinks he was cheating back then, I don't know what to tell you, because now he's outperforming himself, even from when he was banned for cheating.

It's just the organisation at this point. The reason people always said PENTA/G2 was because of the team. Sure the organisation just won a hammer but the team is literally filled with different people now.
Shaiiko is the goat of R6, definitely the best Fragger anyway, he literally got banned because people thought it was impossible to be that good.

ESLs ban is near critical in this example and isnt really discussed enough. I think shaiko should have persued legal action against ESL for removal of the ban and monetary compensation

I was there when it happened and this thing still annoys me to this day. Which is the fact Pengu was a crying baby who couldn't accept that someone was better than them in the game. He even tried to accuse Beaulo in a few times.
Hands down, Pengu is a legend on Siege, but this doesn't blend the fact that he was the "the kid who owns the ball" (This is a Brazilian expression that have origins on soccer street matches, and what happens is that, when the kid who owns the ball gets mad, he just take it home, which would end the game for everyone).
I really like shaiiko as a player, because despite everything he went through with the allegations, getting banned, and basically getting harassment. He was still not an ego driven pro player. He wasn't trash talking when he wrecked people, he was just calm and collected, while also being a good team mate. Honestly you could easily make the argument that he was the perfect siege player.
After the ban shaiiko was like a beast in the cage rip for those who had to encounter him during that time :D

I still find it crazy how Shaiko was originally accused of walling but then got banned for "macro"
when we talk about fraggers, no dought we have a lot of good names like, beaulo, kanto, shaiiko and joystick... but we should not forget that when other teams played agaisnt BDS or TEAM EMPIRE their bans were only focus on shaiiko and joystick (banning ash and jager) because nobody could agaisnt them both on those operators and I have never seen teams banning operators based on one player.

I'd have spammed 4 after each Kill and I heard somewhere that the anti cheat they used had an issue where sometimes if you clicked a button enough the code would crash and span that key apparently it happened to loads of pros on each of the teams around then and that why they dropped them from being the anti cheat

All they had to do was sit him in a controlled environment, even supply the same mouse/keyboard that he was using, and get him to emulate what he did. If he could do it then there's no cheating, if not then the evidence is there. So much investigating unnecessarily.

I heard that Pingu has since come out and said he thinks theres a chance he wasn't cheating. Sounds like Pingu was threatened by him. Pingu should face a ban for false reporting.
Everyone make it seem like Pengu was the one who got him banned. It was not just Pengu it was a few other pro players as well but Pengu was one of the only ones who reported him publicly and it gained tons of social media coverage where they only found this allegedly macro code. He was wrongfully banned and never compensated for it.
So many content creators turned against Shaiiko like Bikini Bodhi and all, it was honestly very sad to see at that time. Cringe fucking Pengu, I used to love him before that. But the past it past and now it is all better.

Its because from an average players perspective it is much easier to notice and appreciate mechanical skill.
You can have a bronze player look at a clip from Shaiiko and they will be able to tell that he is skilled, but that same bronze player has a harder time recognizing good mentality, support, positioning and gadget usage
