*the nightwarden wars are NOT fought IN the Night kingdom. Kinich says he went there "once", when he died and hoe it was a uniqe experience. Mualani and the rest had clearly never been there before by contrast, because the idea of going there especially "in person" was a risky and new concept to her. And they all literally just won, or have been confirmed to have won the pillgramage in the past. Most obviously is there reaction to arriving, where they act like its all new to them and iansan literally says she has never seen it before. Plus it was a surprise to see what's going on there, and how it's all corrupted. It was only a theory that the night kingdom has abyssal corruption, until we went there and confirmed it. Also the way to get there and back takes a huge effort, so they clearly don't do it multiple times a year. (Also also, the flashback/vision of that one guys friend who died on his mission showed them in a relatively normal place, just with rifthounds and "flashback fog"/abyss corruption in the air. Not the crazy black stone/obsidian style terrain in the night kingdom. So they go and fight *somewhere* else. Mualani says "the abyss isn't a enemy with a concrete form. We are usually just dealing with the after effects of their scheming". And we see then attack the people of the springs in the real world so there is absolutely stuff to do / fight that they would need to select top teams for. Just not a trip into the night kingdom itself. ❤ Great video as always I loved it! But this point has been confused by literally evey sing person so far that I have seen talk about the new lore so far. 😅
"the way to get there and back takes a huge effort" ... they could just go into the lava cave and jump against that specific lava stream and fall down into the night kingdom like i did ..really no effort at all

Fontaine taught us how fate isn't exactly, strictly, procedural; Natlan will taught us how fate isn't irrepairable as long as you remember who you are (ancient name, hence why if you lost it you 'lost all the grip and lost in the river of singularity'). All depends on the higher power subject (So far, Neuvillette and Traveler on the success side, leaving Remus, Deshret, and Rene (as Narsizzenkreuz) on the failed counterpart).

@@starlight14673 I think it's plausible to consider that, by then the Tsaritsa will have all the gnosis thus had the third descender, even if it could be incomplete, on her hand. To have such power that can challenge fate is a challenge itself, what world do they want to mold with it? And how other party will feel about it? @@roozeveltfox in one of the artifact, the bloodstained knight died in the abyss, so it could be that Capitano got revived by Sacred Flame or something similar. Since bloodstained knight associates with the Abyss, it’s only natural he has connection with Natlan as well
Bloodstained knight is from monstadt right? But the fighting style of capitano resembles kaeya which indicates he is khaenrian. Maybe he is the blood stained knight idk
@@roozeveltfox well, the Bloodstained Knight was described as overly righteous. Capitano opens with "Since the oath made five centuries ago remains unfulfilled, what use is the Gnosis in your hands?" possibly not even talking to the Mavuika as the Archon of Pyro, but to her as the Archon from 500 years ago. In his eyes, she failed to keep her promise therefore it's time for him to step in.
Someone on the lore subreddit suggested that Capitano might be Kuntur, who was "unloved by the sun". He also has connections to the Masters of the Night-Wind.
You miss one important key point in the upcoming story and that is the Traveller will have its own Ancient Name and one of the six heroes will forge it which is Xilonen. By having the Traveller's Ancient Name embedded in the Wayob he and the Pyro Archon will have their connection materialize thus resulting to Traveller now can resonate to the Pyro statue and can be revive by Mavuika when they fight the Night Kingdom plus the Traveller can now compete in the Pilgrimage.
Ancient names aren't the part that makes someone revivable, we saw NPCs go and get revived The ancient names just carry knowledge. They're stated in the beginning of the quest to NOT be sources of power at all If the name were to be needed, the entire first half of the competition would be basically useless, since most people fighting are non-name-bearers
@@dotthedot9080 incorrect, you do need an ancient name to be revived. The reason why NPCs participate in the Pilgrimage (first stage) is to produce contending fire. The second stage does have Vision bearers and AN bearers, you can take note of it because the NPC names are repeated throughout the story. I don't know where you got the "NPC being revived" part, but if you mean the part where they were trying to find Kachina's AN, then it should be known that the NPC was also looking for his friend's AN
Yea there’s a line in the AQ that I think Kachina says about how if a someone without an ancient name wins in the finals, they just return home as a champion instead of going to fight because only ancient name bearers can be revived after the Night Warden Wars
Here’s an alternative idea as to why the traveler can’t resonate w pyro :) I think the reason traveler can’t resonate is some sort of elemental energy shortage, mainly because Mavuika said at the end of act II that elemental energy has always been one of their primary and most effective methods in fighting against the abyss, so what if elemental energy is one of the sources of fuel for the sacred flame ( alongside contending fire I guess ? ) and so all the elemental energy available is used to keep the sacred flame burning so there’s simply not enough left for the traveler to tap into through the statue ? Alternatively it could be simply because Natlan doesn’t have proper leylines, since the statues should be in theory connected to major leyline areas, the traveler can usually access elemental energy through them because elemental energy flows through the leylines, but since the statues in natlan aren’t really connected to leylines that probably means that the problem is that the pyro energy is simply out of reach, basically instead of energy properly flowing in “blood vessels” it’s just flowing freely everywhere in a chaotic manner that the traveler has a hard time locating and resonating with enough pyro energy for their needs
Yes! I’ve always been skeptical of the idea that traveler gets their power directly from the archons. I think it’s way more likely it is from the leylines themselves, which are linked indirectly to the dragons. In this case the wayob would have to give them the power, possibly along with a sacred name.
Ok but I noticed that wind is mentioned too much in Natlan. One example: The red flowers' petals are described as 'like floating wings getting caressed by the wind'. I thiiiink Venti has a hand ir smth..
fr natlan and venti always goes hand in hand smthn is fishy venti is involved in this somehow idk how? also there arent seelies in natlan their are actually those purple dancing seelies which i find strange?
Instead of Venti it might be Istaroth as well. There was too much focus on how time is structured in the quest as well, who else is connected with Wind and Time more than Venti?
I might be wrong but the way I understood it is that the Ode of Resurrection isn’t actually broken. The abyss just kidnapped Kachina while pretending to have killed her, and since she isn't dead, she can't be revived. The point of this wasn't to break the Ode, it was just to plant the seeds of doubt on the people of Natlan, so that they stop producing contending fire
hmm from what i think sinner visionary might be involved why? bro has seen future past and present so hmm it could be true also this mauvika saying past present future existing in same time makes me think that smthin is defintely wrong with teyvat
Entirely possible! They did say they were holding Kachina hostage... hmm. I just based my assumptions on what Kachina said from the NK. If I had to guess we have a deliberately confusing narrative presented here!
My interpretation is that the wayobs corruption prevented it from speaking beyond the night kingdom, specifically to the pyro archon, so when the ode was preformed the wayob couldn't relay the location of kachina to then in order to pull kachina out of the night kingdom (in essence the ode was broken in the same kind of way as though the entire team died because the name (target) couldn't be located. In the case of a team wipe the inconsistency of time likely guarantees their Erasure combined with the odes requirement of victory so instead if targeting the condition of victory they learnt to target one individual and prevent them from being targeted by the ode by distrupution of the wayobs consciousness in essence defeating the ode not by enforcing a wipe them all out mentality but a we only need to eliminate one and prevent the wayob from acting as a beacon for their Resurrection, subverting the ode in essence through removing the relay between reality and the night Kingdom
If we're going to speculate based on the Ignition trailer weeks ago, the ones who were shown in black and white, the 6 chosen heores should be: 1. Mualani (Hydro from the People of the Springs) 2. PLEASE I need someone else to be as obsessed with the Night Kingdom divine nail as I am. I had to pause the Archon quest so I could run around trying to get a better look at it. Also I’m fascinated by the implications of it being there specifically. Can Celestial literally throw a nail into the liminal space between life and death? Was the Night Kingdom a real location when it got hit with the nail and THEN it became a liminal space? Is the Night Kingdom not a space out of space at all and it’s actually a real place somewhere under Natlan?
trust, I am a long-time obsessor of the Nails in general, so my brain cogs are turnin'...and all the points you bring up are super interesting questions!!
I heard Mauvika talk about the shape of time and immediately thought about your video on time trekker and block time so I’m super excited about that one
The weirdest part is that her character stories imply it truly was a disappointment for everyone around her when she kept failing, I think it might genuinely be normal to be expected to fight and win in the Pilgrimage no matter how young you are once you gain an Ancient Name 😅
Because the Abyss is coming for them all and being Vision-weilding Ancient Name bearer who can go toe to toe with the famously strong Mualani (who, along with the also famously strong Kinich, both openly praise her strength and determination) when she's got her head in the game, she's both one of the best people for the job, and that job is considered one of the most honorable and respectable things a citizen of Natlan can do. And, due to the Ode of Resurrection, is probably actually safer than fighting off the varioys Abyssal raids that occur at random all over Natlan, even outside of the Nightwarden Wars.
Ok, so this is some really out there crack theory but what if the Pyro from the Statue of Seven was stolen? Stealing fire seems to be a major theme in Natlan, which doesn't really surprise me since Mavuika is supposed to be based on the Māori goddess Mahuika (they even called her little sister Hine - Mahuika had a sister called Hine-nui-te-pō, whi was the goddess of death). The main story with Mahuika involved her getting tricked into giving up all her flames. It's complete crack but I think the Traveller's Pyro abilities were stolen. And I think maybe it might have something to do with our little Saurian? And by extension, Dragons? Because the fire was originally stolen from the Pyro Sovereign. But yeah, it's complete crack 😅 And I'm just enjoying seeing Māori legends in Genshin, because I'm from New Zealand. The story of Mahuika and Māui's many tricks are stories I grew up with.
Adding a bit to the crack-cooking. What if the sacred flame isn't KEEPING THE ABYSS AT BAY, so much as feeding it? In that case, Mavuika would be getting tricked into feeding it with her own flames, and Capilano could have insight on that, wich is why he wishes to overrule her power?
@@dotthedot9080adding a bit more crack to the theory what if most of the contending fire is being stored to resurrect xbalanque cause in the drip marketing they call him one entombed with the primal fire so may not have a physical form yet
Orogon didn't save Capitano , capitano was ready to fight, Orogon heard something and decided to intervine is more likely that he saved the archon indirectly, remember he heard something that capitano and looks like others can't hear, my theory is that he can heard the Waybob and by extension know somethings about the future abd thats why he intervine.
Thing is Capitano being willing to still fight doesn’t mean he would win. He was hurt and having powers comparable to gods doesn’t mean he would win in this specific fight. I only say this because Capitano refuses to fight Mavuika only after she’s spent so much of her power saving us and the other heroes. She’s much weaker than when she was in the fight so we can’t take that statement as a factor of who would win if it continued
i theorized that the reason we can't resonate is because Mavuika isn't recognized by Celestia as the official archon of Natlan. I mean she's a human, and I would assume if Celestia were to appoint someone as the new archon they would have to ascend first. Focalors was once an Oceanid, but she ended up becoming a god. i also just find it really weird if this were the case because the original archon was a man, but the statue is of a woman....Mavuika. The statues have always been built based on the appearance of the first archon right?
In sumeru AQ it was clarified that the statues that we have right now is based on the archons from 500 years ago Hence why the dendro statues is Rukkadevata in her small form since she shrank right before she created Nahida Another evidence of this is that the Natlan archon quest already specifies that the first pyro archon was male (natlan world quests also confirms such) Mavuika became the pyro archon 500 years ago and she revived herself recently hence why the statue is in her image There's definitely more to Mavuika since the trailer shows her as a Phoenix yet she claims to be originally human so I think she's keeping some important information from us (unless the Phoenix form is something she relies on the gnosis for)
no. statues are based on Archons SPECiFiCALLY 500 years ago if there was any doubt about who the statue represents after Sumeru, it was cleared up in Fontaine when we saw that Egeria doesn't look like Focalors and one of the NPCs mentioning that the statue was based on Furina(her divine form specifically, which is Focalors) since all the Archons that were around from 500 years ago were also Archons today in previous nations we assumed statue changed form when new Archon arrived but Kachina said that the statue never changed despite countless Pyro Archons coming afte Mavuika's first life 500 years ago this implies that statues are going to stay as Archons who were around after the cataclysm 500 years ago(So venti and Zhongli since they were still Archons after the cataclysm, Ei, Nahida,Focalors, Mavuika,Tsaritsa)
@@Moon1tanbut why would celestia create the statues 500 years ago when their was a cataclysm going on? What’s the true purpose of the statues of the seven ?
Theory: What if in the final act, the traveler will have to combine his ABYSSAL CLEANSING ability with his FIRE ELEMENTAL POWERS. Since neither one can cleanse the abyss.
The moment Mavuika started her time monologue I immediately thought about you and the video about time xD Also I wonder if there will be an explanation of why the archon statue didn't changed in 500 years, it would have made more sense to me if they told something like "the statute changed a couple of years ago with the new archon" instead of the "is a 'coincidence' that the archon and the statue look a like" maybe is because Mavuika's soul remained within the fire so it was like she's dead but no and although there where other archons after her first time she was still technically The Archon maybe?
No mention of the pyro tribe from the manga, so that's interesting. And isn't it weird that normal people in Natlan just know about the dragons being a civilization before humans? Like I thought Celestia released some propaganda erasing them from existence. Also, where are the blue seelies in Natlan? I don't think I've seen any.
There are no Seelies other than the one in the Night Kingdom that guides the group when they need to get their butts out of there. The answer to what happened to them is in the description of, I think it was a weapon? If you don't want that spoiled and would prefer to find it for yourself don't read my next part. The description reads that the Dragons ate the 'Heavenly envoys', which are the Seelie.
Re: the ancient dragon civilization, I just assumed like, even if people traveled to natlan, they might not necessarily ask, because it may not be a normal topic to bring up? I kinda thought it was like how Australians assume the US/the world knows about the Nutbush dance, but the US doesn't. Could be Celestia tho.
i think the idea of capitano dying has some merit to it, actually. it's the same way Ajax 'died.' its not a death in the literal, physical sense; its an ego death- a death of oneself. Ajax 'died' when he entered the abyss, and Tartaglia was 'born' when he entered the fatui. I think its definitely plausible Capitano has something similar going on :))
thank u for supporting my delulu but also i'm a huge fan of this fatui having "deaths" before becoming the fatui. maybe also like how arlecchino let the name Peruere die?? it feels like a theme. a certain 'loss' of who they used to be to become the 'actors' of the commedia (??? if that makes sense)
@@roozeveltfox i totally agree, actually !! so far, all the fatui harbingers we know have experienced this same type of 'death' before. the biggest one being wanderer, who experienced MANY. from kunikuzushi, to scaramouche, then to wanderer. Peruere to Arlechinno, orphan to father. (she also really helps this theory in regards to her book, Perrenherri.) Zandik to Dottore, simple scholar researching illnesses and 'helping' said ill, to the Doctor. And then of course, Ajax. Normal boy, to killing machine. Ajax to Tartaglia. though i think this theory / these parallels make a lot of since when it comes to the fatui, and more precisely, The Tsaritsa's plan. Yknow, the whole 'burn away the old world, and welcome in a new age'? Make's lots of sense when you look at it from that perspective!!
@@sleepeiiwoermdon't forget Signora going from Rosalyne the scholar to the Witch feared by all at the cost of burning herself alive, before becoming The Fair Lady of the Harbingers Also if Columbina really is a Seelie as so many speculate, she might have died in some form when the entire race was struck down
Considering the people of Natlan need permission from the Wayob to even leave Natlan (which is incredibly hard to do for various reasons), I'm not as convince anymore that he is from Natlan. Not that it's impossible mind you, but it's not surprising that people are not convince yet. Since if he is from Natlan, we're missing key information on how he was able to leave Natlan to begin with. Also, if feels like any goes now in regards to the kinds of people that can be part of the Harbingers considering we have someone literally from the Crimson Moon Dynasty among their ranks. So there's a myriad of possibilities on who Capitano could be.
i think he is either bloodstained knight or he is the xbalanque"s bro in mayan culture they did say that also he is depicted to be headless?? and my man doesnt have a head just an aura?? or he could human dragon hybrid from the new book
@@TheGeekyRedMage He's always seems like the kind of guy who is so strong that even if he left Natlan, it wouldn't affect him so much. So idk, man, he could be a special case.
@@starlight14673 for everyone else in here: I remind you that xbalanque was THE FIRST PYRO ARCHON. Sadly, bro is NOT the dragon sovereign (as far as we know). That is specifically stated in the world quests of natlan

Cubes once again proving to be the most suspicious shape in Genshin Impact. Staring at Zhongli and his associations with death in light of this and the mention of Ronova in AQ
Capitano is either a hero or Xbalanque himself just because in the namecard where ge appears, he's also wearing a headpiece that covers his face and like Natlan enemies that wear headpieces resembling their saurian companions his current dead looking mask might represent his companion, that I think could be the Pyro dragon lord, but that last part might be just crack 😂

Also, why the fork they didn't explain the thing about ley lines? Like, were they scorched by the Abyss or when the Primordial One was distributing ley lines he run out of them in Natlan? But I guess we will know more about it in later versions Still waiting for mentions of Mare Jivari and Venessa and her tribe in Natlan Great video as always, thank you!
Mine are working I accidentally triggered em when I was seasoning my cast iron.😅 Awesome theory can't wait to see what you have to say on the little tepetlisaurus
It could be that the soul of the Archon has to die or smth for the Statue of Seven to change. Technically if we go by the quest in Natlan you can be resurrected from the sacred fire as long as your ancient name is alive as the canopy member still believed he could save his friend as long as the ancient name was obtainable so she might have her own ancient name as well as her "inner flame" which i think is primordial flame based on the world quest according to which the rules of Natlan were created and why the lector goes on about how Mavuika didn't share it (maybe she didn't share it for 500 years) Anyways that's why i think the statue remained the same because it changed in every other instance apart from Focalor's situation. Also as a side note it was interesting how Paimon was also completely unaffected by Abyssal energy after coming back when everyone else was, as well as forbidden knowledge which comes from the Abyss not doing anything to her when we were travelling in the boat of consciousness to save Rukkhadevata It's also interesting that there is a celestial nail in the night kingdom but the abyss is still rampant there. Anyways are we going to talk about how memories are essentially giving the chosen characters a full on nightsoul blessing which in game basically gives you the power to fight for a longer period of time. Also congrats on landing the W for expecting that random but totally possible different times existing at the same plane which was the block theory. I don't want to spoil the story for WQ so i won't go into the specifics of why the leylines in Natlan are as they are but remeber to take pictures of every single mural you come accross in the WQ
@@roozeveltfox it seems that the Natlan's leylines (basically their big tree like every other region like the Windrise tree and Sacred Sackura) were burned by a black dragon which could either be Xiucoatl or Nibelung even tho the wiki says it's Xiucoatl after the sage who turned out to be a dragon betrayed the dragonkind and worked with the Pyro Archon to make Phlogiston available for humankind to use. Idk but somewhere in the text it also says the Pyro Archon was also revived but the text explicitly says it's a Pyro Archon which should be the position of a god after he's defeated every other god in his territory in battle but he was also a human according to Paimon? So maybe Celestia decided to make him the Pyro Archon after a human somehow killed the Pyro Sovereign(Xiucoatl) And Khaenriahns were also involved in this so just maybe one of the Khaenriahn soldiers is Capitano? This is kinda brainrot but his clothes look awfully similar to the knights, his back has the same purple hue as Dainsleif's boots and he has been around 500 years too so methinks he is Khaenriahn
No, it was stated in both Sumeru AND Fontaine that the statues of the seven were all built 500 years ago and look like the Archons from that time: Venti, Zhongli, Ei, Smol Rhukkadevata, Focalors, and now Mavuika.
@@roozeveltfoxunfortunately Sumeru gave us the lore that their statue was smol Rhukkadevata after she depleted her strength. And Fontaine is Focalors not Egeria as the statues were only created 500 years ago

Hei Roosevelt. I love your videos and theories. And I too share kaeya brainrot. As such I wS looking forward for your videos wondering if you noticed the similarities between kaeya and capitanos. Mainly their fighting style, the sword that capitanos uses looking similar to the harbinger of the dawn and his intro being similar to kaeyas.
aw thank you! I did see the similarities send to me with clips and such. It's so waaghh!! But I do now have some questions, especially after Titu's world quest...
@@roozeveltfox i haven't done the world quests yet as I'm still finishing the ones in Fontaine, but the more I look at the two of them the more I see similarities and I have a little theory. Also his hair is how I imagine Kaeya's hair would be loose, like not in a ponitail. But I listened Capitanos voice and then immediately went to listen to Kaeyas dads voice from the event and to me they sound almost the same except when spoken to kaeya sounds softer. And his uniform has the same color scheme as Dainsliefs, capitano even has some of the same blue as seen on Dainsliefs arm but on his hips. And we'll added the fatui emblem all over. But his uniform is a mix of kaeya and dainsleif to me but maybe I read too much into it. Anyway my theory is what if he is Anfortas. They possess grate strength, as seen in perinheri where Anfortas was one of the strongest fighters, they are both very righteous as seen in the notes from the golems in sumeru. And both seem to take the lead when the situation is dire. So I was thinking since în the archon quest Mavuika says that ancient names can be forged, what if that's why capitano seems to have that aura that the ancient name bearers seem to have. Even more so what if the reason why he fought Mavuika is indeed to take the gnosis to prevent history from repeating. He failed to protect Kaenriah and sees that natlan had a similar fate. What if 500 years ago after Kaenriah fell, he lent his strength to natlan seing as it was the most affected after Kaenriah. And that's what gained him an ancient name and the right to fight for the title or archon. We seen in the trailer that the traveler will fight in the arena too and now we know he will have an ancient name too. Besides the misterioase voice ay the end of the quest said he's running out of time. Maybe the curse is getting stronger and he's running out of time because of it also his black face is just like the skin of the hilichurls. That got me thinking maybe he had kaeya with a natlanian woman, since there are many darker skinned people there. More than sumeru. And kaeya is the missing harbinger. Maybe that's the secret that he revealed to diluc and that would make a ton of sense why diluc almost killed him, more than if he just revealed he's a spy from a dead nation. And when kaeya says he inherited his eyepatch from his grandfather he might be reffering to Pietro, not as in blood related grandfather, but like a nickname for him cos he's older. This is my theory tho.
id like to say something, in the comics of genshin, venti calls venessa part of "children of murata" which confused us and made us think that the archons name was Murata, and now when we got mavuika introtroduced to the picture many of us got us wondering "wait but wasnt her name murata? must be a previous pyro archon", BUT now with the natlan archon quest, we have the information that the six tribes of natlan are called "Children of-", and there are 2 tribes missing right now, probably the children of murata tribe is missing because they left natlan a long time ago, losing hope on Mavuika's plan
Ok let's see, despite not yet being able to resonate with Pyro the Traveler can do what Natlanians can do like using Phlogiston, being able to read Phlogiston engravings, and the Traveler is called the Chosen of Dragons. So if we put two and two together the Twins are from Teyvat especially somewhere in Natlan but their memories got changed then kicked out of Teyvat and now they think they're Outlanders.
@@bisayafascist5725 you do realize that if the Traveler was from Teyvat..... specifically Natlan they wouldn't be able to wield ALL the elements without a vision???? That just goes against all the lore in the game. Especially since we know Irminsul memories can be tampered with and Rhinedottir (one of the sinners who's in league with Vedrfolnir, who's the guy that lured our sibling to the abyss) makes regular trips into Irminsul and probably implanted our sibling into Irminsul and then left the end of their journey out??? Edit: a descender can be the chosen of dragons. In fact, I'd think they'd be the best candidate if the Sovereigns still hold a grudge against Celestia and the current regime of Archons. Which if Neuvillete is anything to go by.....they absolutely do.
@@Orion_TheyThem I've always had this lingering question in my mind, why does the Traveler able to resonate with the elements like it's second nature to them despite being outside of Teyvat? My crack theory is that maybe the Twins aren't outlanders but rather they are originally Teyvat Natives especially if the Twins are basically the very First Humans of Teyvat ala Adam and Eve and the Humans that comes after them that uses there blueprint are just nerfed as in no longer able to manipulate the elements freely.
@@bisayafascist5725 you do realize this still doesn't support your "they're Natlan natives" theory as they can wield ALL the elements. And don't need a physical focii. ABD illustrates made this video about natlan speculations a long while ago that tried to guess the identity of the pyro archon throu analysing pyro characters and establishing links between them, and what he came up with was shockingly accurate to some degree, and i think it explains why we couldn't resonate with pyro: basically to have a pyro vision, there needs to be a notion of "passing the torch" which is a theme that seem to be rooted in natlan's practices. It really felt that it made sense that we couldn't resonate with pyro, without that particular experience of having a torch being passed down to us. It could be something else like paimon said, some abyssal interference, or just due to the difference in ley line systems that we found on natlan and the contamination of the night realm- But I still want to contemplate our journey again and particularly our relationships with the archons and the vision distribution system patterns.
A random comment about something I discovered when entering the nigth kingdom to fight the Local legends that are there. When you do the challenge of the black monoliths that are on the map and access that domain, if we use the camera to make a Zoon or a glich to be Out of bounds, the structure that is located in the heart of the nigth kingdom, has shape of a gigantic tower and the fire that surrounds it is white, similar to the energy given off by the Nail that floats in that place, which is why both structures could be linked and what we see in that particular area is the largest annihilation reaction of all so far.

as for the abyss learning mate an abyss Lector just said what happened an intelligent life form(former human turned herald/lector) wanted to see the world burn so he expedited the process in some places
Ok but I'm still stuck at the night warden wars??? Like it's not a rotating cast of warriors it's a every few months we pop in for a few days thing. How does that even work? It would make sense if they were like a scheduled maintenance crew going in to clear up some abyssness but it's completely unclear. And they're not like regularly exterminating all the monsters like an infestation bc they're all still there when we go get kachina. So like what does winning it even mean? Are they going down to play ball with rifthounds and they're got some unbiased referee? Like PLEASE correct me if I accidentally skipped over a crucial line of dialogue but it seems so crazy that their continuous war with the abyss for centuries is a team of 5 dicking around for a couple days every so often
I don't think they go to the Night Kingdom. Remember that it is a liminal space and not a physical place. The abyss is probably somewhere else on the surface. Remember the flashback from Mallko showed him in his last moments dying by Rifthounds somewhere is a deserted place on the surface. And I think winning simply means clearing a good amount of corruption and returning alive. Victory only entails one person returning alive cuz that's the condition for resurrection.

The biggest question I have regarding Natlan's situation is particularly WHY Natlan's leylines are so weak and unstable compare to other nations. My initial thought is that Irmisul is position at a specific place that makes it so Natlan is particularly far away from Irmisul. But then I have to question why doesn't The Heavenly Principles extend the leylines to secure Natlan if it seems they are the ones that control it. Natlan's situation is just very interesting because for one reason or another, Celestia's influence seems to be "weaker" in Natlan (which probably explains why we can actually find ruins from the Sovereign Dragons' era, unlike in other nations it seems). I also want to talk about annihilation, Khvarena, The Abyss. Now, while it does seem like Genshin is part of the Honkaiverse, we don't really know if Genshin is meant to be connected to HI3rd and HSR (at least to a heavy extent). Regardless, I suspect that there are at least meant to be parallels between them, so I'm guessing "Khvarena" and The Abyss are meant to parallel The Imaginary and Quantum, at least in function. "Khvarena" (using this name as a placeholder) and The Abyss are two opposing forces in a symbiotic relationship (like a Samsara or Oroboros
For the Ley Lines being weak, I just finished the World Quest with our little Dragon buddy today and I wonder if what is depicted in that (without spoiling) might answer why the Ley Lines are weak.
@@nicolas._.2294 I found an item at some point that triggered Paimon saying to return to the man in the Children of Echo's who told us about our little buddy having the Flamelords Blessing; I think, THINK, I got the item from then area above Huiztli Hill on the map, the water area. Once you return to him where the man is, he's talking to Pacal, it will trigger the continuation of that quest.
My guess is that even after defeating the Abyss in the Night Kingdom it still wouldn't be able to function properly, since most parts of it were corroded and basically gone after cleansing. So that means, that they will have to rebuild it or create something entirely new to replace it. Something that functions as leylines and is independent from Irminsul - like the Sacred Sakura or the Loom of fate. That also lines up with Mavuika's words about forging their own fate, since their new system wouldn't be regulated by Celestia. Edit: I see this idea is not entirely new here, but I still think that they'd create something on their own without the help of our sibling, especially because the battle in Natlan is against them.
The only thing I could think of all archon quest (and I THINK it came from an Ashikai theory) is that Capitano escaped the night kingdom without proper resurrection and needs control over the fire to cleanse himself
i just wanted to correct one thing: the champion teams dont go to fight the abyss ON the night kingdom. they fight it on the real world, and if they were to die, they go to the night kingdom (the night kingdom works like a purgatory of some sorts). thats why kachina was on the night kingdom, and why it was so weird for people to go there
@@roozeveltfox closest things mine have to words is this: Nails are dropped by Celestia presumably to wipe problem civilizations and whatnot off the map. Tsurumi island does challenge this, unless it was a holdout from the OG civilization back in primordial times that Celestia decided to nuke. Now they work by “creating large scale ley line disorders”. What does that really mean? Ley lines are manifestations of fate, and carry the memory (which I would say includes both past, present, and future) of the world. Does that mean that dropping a nail essentially “corrupts” the data in irminsul for that local area? Would be a great way to hide unwanted outside data, though a rather extreme tactic. If thats the reason though, then that would imply that Celestia doesn’t have a loom to alter the ley lines with, and this is their crude stand in. So why a nail in the night kingdom, and since when? What if the night kingdom is actually a by-product of the nail, say it was used to pin down and obscure the remnants of some ancient knowledge only the dragons possessed, considering we see so much of their civilization’s ruins down near it. Maybe in doing so, they accidentally warped things so badly that souls in the region could no longer pass on to the irminsul or whatever, and get trapped in this ley line disorder (much like on Tsurumi). But the people getting resurrected certainly aren’t just shades of their former selves, it seems to be the actual souls… so are we going to learn where the dead _actually_ go after death with this nation?
if you go by the desaturated scene - yeah, I think it'd imply Chasca and Citlali (since there were size scenes - Kachina just happened to be with Mualani). That may certainly be the case, but I was speculating1) Citlali already seems super established with no need for further achievement to get the Anicent Name and also 2) just speculating about Ororon! so I may be wrong on that and this is correct!
I just hope that Capitano is not Mavuika's dad or sister. Her dad not being there to see her off and the sister saying something along the lines of, "I will see you 500 years later, one way or another" makes me think there's more to their end than what was led on. I hope they're just red herrings. The sisters memories being there should mean she's passed though. Also, what about her current family? We've heard nothing about it. She was reborn and inherited the name right? Where are her current life's parents or siblings?
Your fanfiction about captitano is still way less half backed than mine. I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to make him Mavuika’s little sister 😂 firefly brain rot getting to me.
i personally think citlali is the night-wind hero, despite how boring it is, every hero from each tribe so far has had the same element as the tribe, and we know oloron is electro, while citlali is cryo, like the night-wind tribe
The one of the final cutscenes really confuses me Spoiler ahead Specifically, I'm talking about Capitano (strange look into the camera and an equally strange accompanying phrase). A crazy thought came into my head, if this is perceived as 4th wall breaking... What if, we, as a player, end up as a separate entity in long future updates (not just some traveler's, paimon's or any other character's perspective view, but a truly separate person on higher dimension level). A more or less popular example of such idea - Watchers in Marvel Comic Universe (observing events without interfering, not visible to the naked eye) The game already has Witches that are invisible to the characters (only voice is heard + occasionally some small object nearby), now we can be added to this caste too... I don't know, maybe the scene was done with such "unic way", but I don't feel like he was addressing any physical entity. It can be Wayob, but again, the phrase sounds out of place (Wayob is everywhere and literally woven into Natlan's nature and elements)
I think the Abyss is being guided by the sinners and/or the Abyss sibling. They are giving orders to the lectors/heralds/mages.... to do what they need to be done. That way they conserve their energy for the final fight. It probably also takes/uses the knowledge and memories of the people that is corrupts. Just like what is happening with the night kingdom memories being used against tribes in Natlan. With each new memory it gets "smarter" and can manipulate more people as it goes. This is probably wrong though, just my thoughts on it, so sorry.😅
I am currently brainrotting about how Mavuika used weapons and artifacts of bygone heroes as power to break into the Night Kingdom And how every weapon in the game that has a special effect has a story to it, 3* onwards...and all (?) 4* and 5* weapons are historical artefacts or weapons used by heroes. Plus the artifact sets....Crimson Witch set allows use to gain a buff like the 'crimson witch' Rosalyne Thundering Fury grants us a buff based on the Thunderbird/Kapatcir of Tsurumi etc We've _always_ used this. It just got included in the story.
Hey, crack theory thay i just got after reading the comment of the guy talking about Venti(haven't watched the whole video yet) In the manga, venti tells traveler about vannesa and her tribe and the traveler has the pyro powers from what it looks like. So venti 2nd story qeust coming soon? Also 2 qeustion that i hope some people will think about, how has Vanessa tribe leaved natlan safely? If they can then does thay mean Capitano might be one of them? 2nd where is Varka the grandmaster? And from what we know, he and 80% of the knights and Capitano himself have been in natlan for like years, wtf have they been doing all of this time? I don't think an expedition mission is a good enough excuse.
I didn't mention Vanessa here because i'm growing increasingly uncertain if they're trying to retcon the webcomic. but AruHiseki did make a post mentioning how people who left natlan had memory issues, and maybe that's why the tribe didn't remember the pyro archon... regardless I think there are enough ties (e.g.) with the Mare Jivari) to definitely gives us Venti SQ2!!
@roozeveltfox oh, I thought they didn't remember the pyro archon becs they left long ago, either before Vanessa was born or when she was a child, so her generation didn't have that knowledge. Well anyway, thank you very much!
Minor spoilers Mavuika’s existence 500 years ago makes me wonder about the creation of the Statues of the Seven. We know that the first Pyro Archon was a man, the Sumeru statue seems to depicts a young Rukka (could be interpreted as Nahida but Rukka was the Archon during Deshert’s time and she still looked older), and the Archon war was some 2000 years ago too. Were they made just 500 years ago after the fallout of Khanreiah?
I feel like I have to double-check some things but it seems like yes they are pointing to the statues representing the archons during (maybe slightly before?) the cataclysm. which i think has interesting implications
Hmmm I wonder if we are made out of same material as that heavenly nail to be soo good against abysss in purification and whatnot. Like what if we are somehow creation of heavenly principles? maybe our sibling was original traveler coming to Teyvat alone and got corrupted by abyss. So heavenly principles used all their power to make us and rewrite history such that we are siblings and always been. Maybe that is why our sibling is part of Teyvat proper and we aren't. Heavenly principles realized that only we can counter horrible things done by our corrupt sibling.
So wait, of the Archon statue apparently *always* looked like Mavuika, does that mean that they were crafted 500 years ago, or that whoever created then could see into the future to at least the Cataclysm? Are the Dendro statues actually of Nahida and not a young Rhukkadevata (especially since no one seems to know that Rhukkadevata even *had* a younger form)? Are the Inszuman statues actually supposed to be Ei and not Makoto?
Well, if they WERE to destroy the Night Kingdom, they'd need a replacement, right? Huh, you know, I seem to recall how a certain sibling just gained the ability to weave new ley lines...........

Ancient names aren't the part that makes someone revivable, we saw NPCs go and get revived
The ancient names just carry knowledge. They're stated in the beginning of the quest to NOT be sources of power at all
If the name were to be needed, the entire first half of the competition would be basically useless, since most people fighting are non-name-bearers
@@dotthedot9080
incorrect, you do need an ancient name to be revived.
Here’s an alternative idea as to why the traveler can’t resonate w pyro :)
I think the reason traveler can’t resonate is some sort of elemental energy shortage, mainly because Mavuika said at the end of act II that elemental energy has always been one of their primary and most effective methods in fighting against the abyss, so what if elemental energy is one of the sources of fuel for the sacred flame ( alongside contending fire I guess ? ) and so all the elemental energy available is used to keep the sacred flame burning so there’s simply not enough left for the traveler to tap into through the statue ?
In this case the wayob would have to give them the power, possibly along with a sacred name.
fr
So the ley lines are leaking everywhere causing kinda like a "hemorrhage" of elemental energy?
Natlan has internal bleeding i guess
Ok but I noticed that wind is mentioned too much in Natlan. One example: The red flowers' petals are described as 'like floating wings getting caressed by the wind'.

If we're going to speculate based on the Ignition trailer weeks ago, the ones who were shown in black and white, the 6 chosen heores should be:

why did they send like a 10 year old to fight against literally the armies of hell
cuz its a game no need to make sense of the story fr
tbf its a pretty strong 10 year old despite being carried by Mualani in the team games

In sumeru AQ it was clarified that the statues that we have right now is based on the archons from 500 years ago
Hence why the dendro statues is Rukkadevata in her small form since she shrank right before she created Nahida
Another evidence of this is that the Natlan archon quest already specifies that the first pyro archon was male (natlan world quests also confirms such)
Mavuika became the pyro archon 500 years ago and she revived herself recently hence why the statue is in her image
There's definitely more to Mavuika since the trailer shows her as a Phoenix yet she claims to be originally human so I think she's keeping some important information from us (unless the Phoenix form is something she relies on the gnosis for)
I feel like this implies that the statues were built 500 years ago (either that or they dynamically change, but I find that unlikely)
no. statues are based on Archons SPECiFiCALLY 500 years ago
if there was any doubt about who the statue represents after Sumeru, it was cleared up in Fontaine when we saw that Egeria doesn't look like Focalors and one of the NPCs mentioning that the statue was based on Furina(her divine form specifically, which is Focalors)
since all the Archons that were around from 500 years ago were also Archons today in previous nations we assumed statue changed form when new Archon arrived but Kachina said that the statue never changed despite countless Pyro Archons coming afte Mavuika's first life 500 years ago
this implies that statues are going to stay as Archons who were around after the cataclysm 500 years ago(So venti and Zhongli since they were still Archons after the cataclysm, Ei, Nahida,Focalors, Mavuika,Tsaritsa)
@@Moon1tanbut why would celestia create the statues 500 years ago when their was a cataclysm going on? What’s the true purpose of the statues of the seven ?
@@mitab1We have yet to find out. The story is still unfolding

8:16 This part of the lore always intrigued me. Really ties to the theme of ressurtion
OMG smoke detectors battery ran out
The moment Mavuika started her time monologue I immediately thought about you and the video about time xD
Also I wonder if there will be an explanation of why the archon statue didn't changed in 500 years, it would have made more sense to me if they told something like "the statute changed a couple of years ago with the new archon" instead of the "is a 'coincidence' that the archon and the statue look a like" maybe is because Mavuika's soul remained within the fire so it was like she's dead but no and although there where other archons after her first time she was still technically The Archon maybe?
Could be Celestia tho.
i think the idea of capitano dying has some merit to it, actually. it's the same way Ajax 'died.'
its not a death in the literal, physical sense; its an ego death- a death of oneself.
(she also really helps this theory in regards to her book, Perrenherri.)
Zandik to Dottore, simple scholar researching illnesses and 'helping' said ill, to the Doctor.
@@sleepeiiwoermdon't forget Signora going from Rosalyne the scholar to the Witch feared by all at the cost of burning herself alive, before becoming The Fair Lady of the Harbingers
Also if Columbina really is a Seelie as so many speculate, she might have died in some form when the entire race was struck down
Finally someone else that thinks capitano is from natlan. I dont understand how everyone just collectively has agreed hes not from natlan like
Considering the people of Natlan need permission from the Wayob to even leave Natlan (which is incredibly hard to do for various reasons), I'm not as convince anymore that he is from Natlan.
I haven’t seen one person claim he wasn’t from natlan.
i think he is either bloodstained knight or he is the xbalanque"s bro in mayan culture they did say that also he is depicted to be headless?? and my man doesnt have a head just an aura?? or he could human dragon hybrid from the new book

Mirrors... mirrors are definitely a theme.... HMMMM
It could be that the soul of the Archon has to die or smth for the Statue of Seven to change. Technically if we go by the quest in Natlan you can be resurrected from the sacred fire as long as your ancient name is alive as the canopy member still believed he could save his friend as long as the ancient name was obtainable so she might have her own ancient name as well as her "inner flame" which i think is primordial flame based on the world quest according to which the rules of Natlan were created and why the lector goes on about how Mavuika didn't share it (maybe she didn't share it for 500 years)
Anyways that's why i think the statue remained the same because it changed in every other instance apart from Focalor's situation. Also as a side note it was interesting how Paimon was also completely unaffected by Abyssal energy after coming back when everyone else was, as well as forbidden knowledge which comes from the Abyss not doing anything to her when we were travelling in the boat of consciousness to save Rukkhadevata
It's also interesting that there is a celestial nail in the night kingdom but the abyss is still rampant there. Anyways are we going to talk about how memories are essentially giving the chosen characters a full on nightsoul blessing which in game basically gives you the power to fight for a longer period of time.
Also congrats on landing the W for expecting that random but totally possible different times existing at the same plane which was the block theory.
I don't want to spoil the story for WQ so i won't go into the specifics of why the leylines in Natlan are as they are but remeber to take pictures of every single mural you come accross in the WQ
oooo interesting idea about the statue!!
also I've done (most of??) the WQs but my god I have to process them aaaa. I'll keep this is in mind tho
So maybe Celestia decided to make him the Pyro Archon after a human somehow killed the Pyro Sovereign(Xiucoatl)
And Khaenriahns were also involved in this so just maybe one of the Khaenriahn soldiers is Capitano? This is kinda brainrot but his clothes look awfully similar to the knights, his back has the same purple hue as Dainsleif's boots and he has been around 500 years too so methinks he is Khaenriahn
No, it was stated in both Sumeru AND Fontaine that the statues of the seven were all built 500 years ago and look like the Archons from that time: Venti, Zhongli, Ei, Smol Rhukkadevata, Focalors, and now Mavuika.

Kachina never died. She was MIA.
Feel like capitano is the first pyro archon....like her line "people like us let's put flames do the talking "
id like to say something, in the comics of genshin, venti calls venessa part of "children of murata" which confused us and made us think that the archons name was Murata, and now when we got mavuika introtroduced to the picture many of us got us wondering "wait but wasnt her name murata? must be a previous pyro archon", BUT now with the natlan archon quest, we have the information that the six tribes of natlan are called "Children of-", and there are 2 tribes missing right now, probably the children of murata tribe is missing because they left natlan a long time ago, losing hope on Mavuika's plan

I wanna know what Mavuika meant when she said she knows quite a lot about us. More than we know. WHAT DO YOU MEAN??????!!!!!!!
🧐😏😁
Which, in the history of Teyvat has only been able to be done by descenders or elemental beings. And even then it was only one element wielded by each elemental being such as slimes, foliar wayobs, and fungi.
Have your crack theory but the way you phrased it in your first comment was very "this is correct and will be made true." Also SUPER condescending with the whole "if we put 2 and 2 together." You sound like a Real pleasant person. 😒

It could be something else like paimon said, some abyssal interference, or just due to the difference in ley line systems that we found on natlan and the contamination of the night realm-
But I still want to contemplate our journey again and particularly our relationships with the archons and the vision distribution system patterns.

I think the Capitano crack is good, tbh.
as for the abyss learning
mate an abyss Lector just said what happened
an intelligent life form(former human turned herald/lector) wanted to see the world burn so he expedited the process in some places
Like PLEASE correct me if I accidentally skipped over a crucial line of dialogue but it seems so crazy that their continuous war with the abyss for centuries is a team of 5 dicking around for a couple days every so often
no no this is a valid plot problem imho so you're not wrong at all
I don't think they go to the Night Kingdom.

HI ROOZEEEE IM SO EXCITED

@@roozeveltfox closest things mine have to words is this:
Nails are dropped by Celestia presumably to wipe problem civilizations and whatnot off the map.
I thought Ignition trailer out right showed that Citalali will be the hero from the masters of the night-wind?
if you go by the desaturated scene - yeah, I think it'd imply Chasca and Citlali (since there were size scenes - Kachina just happened to be with Mualani).
Where are her current life's parents or siblings?

maybe we can use the Loom of Fate to create a new Leyline system for Natlan after seperating the Night Kingdom from it?
The one of the final cutscenes really confuses me
Spoiler ahead
Specifically, I'm talking about Capitano (strange look into the camera and an equally strange accompanying phrase). A crazy thought came into my head, if this is perceived as 4th wall breaking...
What if, we, as a player, end up as a separate entity in long future updates (not just some traveler's, paimon's or any other character's perspective view, but a truly separate person on higher dimension level).
A more or less popular example of such idea - Watchers in Marvel Comic Universe (observing events without interfering, not visible to the naked eye)
The game already has Witches that are invisible to the characters (only voice is heard + occasionally some small object nearby), now we can be added to this caste too...
I don't know, maybe the scene was done with such "unic way", but I don't feel like he was addressing any physical entity. It can be Wayob, but again, the phrase sounds out of place (Wayob is everywhere and literally woven into Natlan's nature and elements)
Baby Kachina 🥺
I think the Abyss is being guided by the sinners and/or the Abyss sibling. They are giving orders to the lectors/heralds/mages.... to do what they need to be done. That way they conserve their energy for the final fight. It probably also takes/uses the knowledge and memories of the people that is corrupts. Just like what is happening with the night kingdom memories being used against tribes in Natlan. With each new memory it gets "smarter" and can manipulate more people as it goes. This is probably wrong though, just my thoughts on it, so sorry.😅
the abyss order that is controlled by the abyss sibling is not the same as the abyss itself. It could be a sinner though.
I am currently brainrotting about how Mavuika used weapons and artifacts of bygone heroes as power to break into the Night Kingdom
And how every weapon in the game that has a special effect has a story to it, 3* onwards...and all (?) 4* and 5* weapons are historical artefacts or weapons used by heroes.
Plus the artifact sets....Crimson Witch set allows use to gain a buff like the 'crimson witch' Rosalyne
Thundering Fury grants us a buff based on the Thunderbird/Kapatcir of Tsurumi etc
We've _always_ used this. It just got included in the story.
Hey, crack theory thay i just got after reading the comment of the guy talking about Venti(haven't watched the whole video yet)
In the manga, venti tells traveler about vannesa and her tribe and the traveler has the pyro powers from what it looks like.
All I'ma say is pyro traveler better be at least good. But they hinting at him being able to use all the elements at one time. He showed it finally
me expecting Zach to scream "FIREEENADOOO!!!" at khoi
You can’t just put children of echoes’ music as bgm and expect us to listen to what you’re saying 😭
its such a vibe right
@@roozeveltfox by the way do you usually theorycraft alone
Minor spoilers
Mavuika’s existence 500 years ago makes me wonder about the creation of the Statues of the Seven.
@@roozeveltfox definitely so. just another question upon the many others Hoyo games often leave
I heard that Capitano might be a crocodile because of the croc egg and dove egg (columbina?)
No Kaeya mention this time bois
