#1 It is possible that Dainsleif is actually the Visionary. It is well known that Dainsleif is having severe memory issues due to corrosion and time. Dainsleif is an unreliable character. Also, let's not forget that Visions have a separate meaning. Dainsleif doesn't have a vision, so where does his power come from. I also have a theory that the HP has nothing to do with the Hilichurl curse. It is likely that HP stepped in because the world was ending. I wouldn't be surprised if HP brought the twins here because it needs a replacement. A parallel to the story on Irmansol. #2 I wouldn't be surprised if Dottore turns out to be the Wise. The sinners each appear to have a different singular focus. Gold being alchemy. Foul being power, the Visionary being control. Dottore appears to have a singular focus on gaining knowledge. He also has a connection to the abyss having used it in his experiments.
Another Kaenrian with a red eye we have is Arlecchino... And whats verrrry interesting, is that if we superimpose the X of Arlie pupils with the diamond of the other Kaenrians we get the 8 pointed star shape. Coincidence? Idk I'm just adding to the crack.
In the Brazilian Portuguese localization the Vinster King is translated as "King of the Eclipse" ("Rei do Eclipse") which puts more weight on the idea that he was the ruler of Khaenri'ah at the time of the Cataclysm.

I fully agree, I started genshin during 1.6 because of Kaeya and I adore him. I cried for months on my living room couch after playing the Golden Apple event because of his dialog about how nice it would be if people could age in reverse, he misses his childhood so bad 😭

fun fact about Kaeya's story quest referencing the sword from the heavens being used by his granddad? There's a legend/really badly documented event during Joan of Arc's trials where it is mentioned she had picked up and used a sword that according to a legend during THAT time, had belonged to Charles Martel (Charlemagne's grandfather) which he had supposedly used against the invading forces of the Muslims in the Battle of Tours in 732, who were seen as a massive horrible threat to the Christian Western Europe. The time gap between that event and Joan of Arc's life was roughly 600-650 years. Now in Genshin, Kaeya's grandfather used the sword to vanquish several threatening monsters. He was also the one Kaeya supposedly inherited his eyepatch from. Do we know an Alberich with a lost eye that fought against monsters that threatened the people of Teyvat? We do. It's Anfortas. Anfortas Alberich was the last standing survivor of the Schwanenritter during the Cataclysm, in which he lost an eye while fighting back the Abyssal monsters. The time gap between that event and current day is just over 500 years. Anfortas is a mirror to Charles Martel and Kaeya is a mirror to Charlemagne.

Ah, I love the smell of Khaenri’ah and Kaeya-centric hogwild tinfoil theories in the morning! Also, amidst all of the hogwild in this video, I’m a smidge surprised you didn’t bring up this additional bit of tinfoil: as you pointed out, the names of Clothar and Caribert Alberich draw a connection between the Alberich family and the Merovingian dynasty, which ultimately resulted in Charlemagne, who destroyed an Irminsul and therefor we can guess that Genshin’s Charlemagne, who might be Kaeya, is fated/planned to somehow destroy Irminsul. That’s already quite tinfoily, but as someone who’s a touch obsessed with Arthurian legend, I just want to point out that, supposedly, Charlemagne and his historical exploits were inspiration for Arthurian legend, particularly for the interpretations of King Arthur where he successfully conquers much of Europe. Take this with a grain of salt, of course, I’m just repeating what I can remember from my classes on Arthurian literature and from stuff I’ve heard. But anyways, if Kaeya is Genshin’s Charlemagne, that could also mean he’s actually Genshin’s King Arthur, which actually kinda tracks with their backstories: Arthur’s royal lineage was kept secret and he was instead raised as a ward/foster son/adopted son of Sir Ector alongside Ector’s son Sir Kay, Arthur’s foster brother/adopted brother who is sometimes characterized as one of Arthur’s premiere warriors as sometimes as boorish, bullying and with an acid tongue. Meanwhile you have Kaeya who may or may not have royal lineage (and if he does it’s definitely being kept secret) and who was raised as a ward/foster son/adopted son of Crepus Ragnvindr alongside Crepus’s son Diluc, who is obviously one of the best warriors in Mondstadt and who…okay I’m not sure I’d call him boorish and bullying (except toward the Knights of Favonius and the Fatui), but he isn’t exactly known for his friendly and outgoing personality. Maybe I’m crazy, but I think you can draw some parallels there between Kaeya and Arthur. Honestly, it might be worth investigating all the Arthurianisms in Genshin relating to Khaenri’ah and Mondstadt and Kaeya and such. Just an idea I’m throwing out there in case you’re interested, Also, if Kaeya indeed has parallels to Arthur as I said, and he also has parallels to Lord Krishna from hinduism (I’ve seen some other fans pointing this out and it makes me feral with happy because even though I have almost no knowledge of hinduism and I know little about Lord Krishna, the parallels I have spotted are so cool and it just makes me wish someone more knowledgeable than I would do a deep dive on Kaeya’s connections to Krishna), then that makes 2 instances where Kaeya is connected to legendary heroic figures who were raised by a foster family alongside an older brother figure with less chill than him (Sir Kay in the case of Arthur, Balarama in the case of Krishna). Which is not much, but it’s interesting that it’s already happened twice. And now, although this comment is already absurdly long, if I may tie this into your video in some way (I’m sorry this diverged so much from the actual theories in your video, they’re so interesting, I just get carried away with anything Arthurian Legend), if these parallels Kaeya has to these heroic figures are valid and if your theories on Irmin being the Dagger Bandit and having started off as a hero who became a villain, seems like Kaeya is being set up as the heroic descendant of a problematic royal line who’ll defeat his now-villainous ancestor and clean up his mess, probably by somehow destroying Irminsul or at least aiding the Traveler at destroying it and also kicking Celestia’s butt. Which is suitably epic as Kaeya deserves, but also sounds exhausting. Poor man needs a nap.

The tower is one of my favorite cards because I feel like it is the most misunderstood, especially when it's a reading about a person. Said person could be an uninvited but not unwelcome guest (like Kaeya so many times we see him) (also like children...). The tower represents inevitable change and shakeups and kaijus, all the perils of having children lol. I would say the tower upright is like someone who can maintain their inner child even when the world is trying to force them to grow up (in a good way, like Kaeya?) while reversed would be a parent not letting their kid grow up, or a manchild lol

And that vanish soon after the quest is concluded. Cannot be a coincidence, since we started to receive a lot of lore about the crimson Moon Dinasty, since Arlecchino debut.

Idk how technical we can get with this because of the Chinese to English translation, but I would like to note that you can be of NOBLE blood without being of ROYAL blood. So it could be that the Alberich line never actually had someone on the throne, but they could have still held peerage in court for many generations and maybe had a noble bloodline that outlasted any royal bloodlines. Like when Princess Diana allegedly told Prince Phillip her British noble lineage was longer and thicker than his or the Windsor’s so that apparently means something. Like the Alberich might not be the biggest or most important chess piece but they’re one of the most long lasting. I’m very interested to see how Kaeya, Arlecchino, Pierro, Daensleif, the sinners and the sibling will all eventually intertwine as the remnants of Khaenri’ah
I actually have a theory why Kaeya canot make a clean break with his past. The Loom of Fate is complete, and functional but it's completly useless as of now. It can write new leylines, but it cannot change the already existing ones. It means they cannot acheive real change with it. But what if there is another machine/contraption they're building which may work in tandem with the Loom, which will allow it to be used as intended (or maybe it will be able to delete the already existing ones, an then the Loom can rewrite/replace them)? And maybe that is where Kaeya comes into the picture. Just like Caribert, they will need him (his body/body part) sacrificed for it to work? Also fun fact, to be able to finish the Loom of Fate, they used the eye of th first field tiller. Maybe for their next machine they will have to use some kind of eye too (wink-wink, nudge-nudge). I don't think Kaeya hiding one of his eyes is a accident, or he does it because it's scarred. What we know of it for sure that his eye is perfectly fine, and he is not blind. Why would he insist of wearing it. I think something is up with that eye, I think thatit is special in a (biologycal) way that will make certain organization want it. I also find it very strange that during the night he told Diluc the sword, the only injuries Kaeya suffered was to his specific eye. Diluc wield a greatsword, and he was supposedly so angry that he was willing to kill his last remaining family member even tho he had to mercykill his father not long ago. I think somthing is very fishy here, and this tale didn't play out the way Kaeya told us. I think kaeya is LIKE Caribert. (an essential part of a very important device)
Great video! In your last video you went over how Kaeya sort of frowns upon the current Heavenly Principles. I think events around him are being manipulated to force his involvement. Kaeya being no dummy, sees this and that's why he's so derisive about whoever is doing this because they lack subtlety. Right now, all he can do is play his 'part', but it is waiting for an opportunity to act. As for the lines about "there are those that exist in the corners of the world who dream of dreaming", this is basically describing people like Focalors. The corners are the cracks in the System where loopholes can be taken advantage to defy fate, because that's the dream. The Dream to defy the current Ruler's written Fate is what the dreamers desire. I think the current Usurper Ruler is Irmin. The current enemy of the "Sinners". I think the connection between Irmin and Irminsul is LITERAL. Like the current Loom of Fate writes the fate into the soul of the Ruler, that's what gives them control; it runs of their soul and power. That's why the Heavenly Principles is asleep, the cost of over using it drains the soul. So if someone were to recreate another Loom of Fate and displace the current world it would be called Aethersul or Luminesul... you get what I'm saying. Irminsul is equivalent to Irmin's Dream. Teyvat is currently governed by Irminsul because Teyvat is currently inside Irmin's Dream of Reality. Edit: Just had a epiphany. On the Khaenri'ah door the symbol. What if the reason Pierro is so confidant about his plan, is because he witnessed it's success before. In hindsight after 4.8, names and fate, Irmin the last King of the Crimson Dynasty made a group of Harbingers that led to him gaining ultimate power. Pierro knows this is a loophole and is recreating the ploy; because although Irmin tried to eliminate Khaenri'ah, he failed. The Sinners fled and dispersed and Pierro is recreating the conditions that even Irmin can't overturn due to Fate! LMAO, that would be insane!
Love your videos and crack theories so much, I’ve watched every single one of your videos for ages, your editing style and humour is super entertaining. Keep going!!! Your crack theories make me feel validated… I really hope that Hoyoverse gives Kaeya what he deserves (Kaeya 5 star version hehe) because otherwise, why would they give him so much delicious lore, as a free 4 star character? A theory by Cristal Marie (on Twitter) suggested Kaeya to be the Heart of Naberius, which would add to your crack theory of the Rhinemaidens stealing something from the Alberichs. If you haven’t read it, give it a read- they also mentioned in depth about the story of the Boar Princess and the wolf, suggesting Kaeya to be like the wolf. (Which, I kind of found similar to the way the House of the Hearth worked- defeat everybody else/use them as fodder and become ‘King’. Every orphan was a potential wolf, and ‘Mother’ was the boar princess… maybe the whole of Teyvat is in a competition like this? And I assume every powerful figure-Fatui, Archons- could be competitors…) Another theory by yaeggravate (they have a YT channel but the theory is in written form on tumblr) suggests Kaeya to be a half seelie and connects him to the Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare, with Oberon being his father, and Titania being Nicole. It’s a very nice theory, and highlights Nicole’s role in the story as a guide of seelies- seelies which are implied to be angels, which could explain the name of ‘Angels Share’ (…and the fact that the wishing screen is in that tavern. Maybe the whole wishing screen is the stars being guided there? Idk, it’s crack and not very important but still.) Alsooo small funny observation, if you look at Caribert’s gloves, then look in the manga at Kaeya’s gloves when he gives the vase to Diluc, they’re the exact same gloves. It’s a small detail, but I think it’s pretty cool! (Caribert’s earring, like Kaeya’s, is also on the left side of their face… but, it looks almost identical to Childe’s. I wonder what that could mean if it is intentional? It could just be hinting at the connection to the Sinners.) Anyways, I’m kinda hoping that because of all this lore we have with Kaeya, Kaeya IL *will* actually be real. If it worked for HSR, it can work for Genshin… I’m calling it now: Kaeya=loom of fate/vessel for a god-> 5 star form (trust…) On a less silly note, this was a great video. I'm seeing barely any theory crafters mention it so I'm gonna bring it up. but there's a deeper connection between the Hexenzirkel and The Sinners of Khaenri'ah. A very obvious one, imho. You BRIEFLY brought up the Hexenzirkel in this video but didn't make the connection! So I'm posting my theory thread I made on Twt, here: So..... it's now confirmed that Gold is not only "the greatest sinner" but one of SIX (I'm including Dain, here) sinners of Khaenri'ah. And in league with Vedrfolnir, Dain's brother....among others. AND Vedrfolnir is THE SINNER. the one that mindspoke to us in the Caribert quest. NOW taking that into consideration we know from the Hexenzirkel lore, and Lisa, that the members often take trips into Irminsul for "exploration." We also know from Nahida that our sibling's fate has been obfuscated and that Irminsul can be tampered with to remove/change memories WHAT IF Gold INTENTIONALLY hid our sibling and removed us from Irminsul to protect us from The Heavenly Principles? On order of Vedrfolnir? The one who turned our sibling to his side? 🤔 We ALSO know that Gold is well versed in the art of Khemia. An ancient form of alchemy that's all but been lost to time. Why? Because it's considered forbidden. Taboo, if you will. By? The Heavenly Principles. We know that's one reason why Khaenri'ah was destroyed by Celestia. So, what does that have to do with anything? Pull out the tinfoil hat because I'm going full conspiracy mode. We know from Wanderer that, according to Pierro, our sibling showed up in Khaenri'ah because the "Heavens responded to the summoning." Combine this with the in game book Perinheri, that Khaenri'ah had an orphanage. An orphanage where they were trying to find Descenders. Aka people who could take on Celestia. And we know from Yae that Ei created the Raiden puppet AND Wanderer by using an ancient method known only to Ei. And Ei was there at the end of the Cataclysm in Khaenri'ah. We also know that both Albedo and Wanderer house great power inside them and can wield visions/gnoses even though they're artificial. So how does all this connect? Stay with me here. What if Raiden learned Khemia from Gold or digging around in the remains of Khaenri'ah? What if our sibling was summoned to go up against Celestia? What if we were created as a backup to that, using Khemia? And Gold is hiding us from Celestia by tampering with Irminsul so the Abyss can take on Celestia? Also, Albedo literally has the Primordial One's symbol on him. AND HE LITERALLY HAS THE SAME EMBELLISHMENTS ON HIS CLOTHES AS WE DO. LIKE???? HELLO???? HOW HAS NOBODY BROUGHT THIS UP BEFORE??? the circular gold thing on his chest is on Aether's belt and the bottom of the front of Lumine's dress. 9:44 just hit me like a firetruck!!! i was thinking of crimson moon semblance description yesterday and who the narrator could have been and thought about it maybe being vedrfolnir. the last phrase mentions burning the old world like the cryo gemstone but there's one speficif part after the mention that astronomers were seen as heretics for glimpsing at fate in the inverted image of the false sky that says something like "[this lasted] until the suspicion and anger grew like an inextinguisahable wildfire, and ravaged the DREAMLESS LAND, ultimately reaching the moon-coloured palace...". specifically because of the moon and dream connotations being similar to seelie symbolism (nabu malikata and dreams, moonlight kingdom and seelies, etc). and nicole is described very much like a seelie. she has quite a few similarities with nabu malikata, too. and besides the connections of seelies and the irminsul, as well as the ability to foresee fate, we know they might know the secrets from beyond the skies and know how to get power from the abyss. idk if this is relevant just thought of it 😂 sorry

About the Visionary Kaeya thing, I just remembered something, and it's Klee trailer Basically in the trailer he coax her into escaping (Because he is Kaeya) by telling her that "Monster looking like the knight come out at night" And...Welp. I think you can see where this is going, but I remember the comments having a panic attack due to the 2.3 event
Ok so following the crack-theory lead, I'm predicting that behind Kaeya's eyepatch is literally a red eye like in the thumbnail because he's got blood from both dynasties and that's why he's Khaenri'ahs last hope even though many signs point to him not being what's would be considered full-blooded which is apparently important - if the Alberich's were denied their right to be considered royal with the fall of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, then it's possible that they were also considered not real Khaenriahns after that as well, something that would potentially mess with the rules of the Curse and allow for a loophole. All ot would take was Kaeya's mother being of the new royal family and Kaeya wouldn't even know, not when he's been raised exclusively as an Alberich. If Vedrfolnir is able to see fate, tantamount to seeing the future, then he may well have foreseen Laeya's loyalty to Mondstadt as well, and planned accordingly to let things get set up for them to make use if him without him knowing there's something there to be made use of Again, full brain-rot mode here, I'm writing whatever pops into my head that has a chance of making sense

One of my initial thoughts during Bedtime Story was about how negative Dain was about Vedrfolnir and the sinners. This struck me as odd because we have other characters who have relations with the sinners (Albedo) and they're not nearly as negative. Also, khaenriah/Abyss Order and the sibling have been getting more and more sympathetic. Sinner possibly saved Fontaine. I know Dain's situation is very different, but he was saying stuff like "I will have my vengeance." It almost feels like a red herring and makes me wonder if Dain has forgotten something about the whole situation. (Like he says "no matter how eroded my memory becomes" right before vengeance bit.) It is very noticeable that Kaeya (the blue character) has one small bit of red, a red bead, on his eyepatch side in his skin. Hoyo does not do this stuff for no reason, especially with regard to visual symbolism. (I mean, Kaeya sig dish turns arlechino X into Eclipse 8 pointed star. Sea of flowers is the background for Traveler quest in quest menu.) (Also, 22:01 from the livestream currently making me unwell. What does it mean?)
Iiiii actually agree because also like... when Dain says the line about the eroded memory, there is a glitching effect. If it were any other quest, I wouldn't have thought much of it (like, he's just talking about erosion) - but given the entire nature of the quest, looking back I'm like hmmm. I agree that bringing the power of the abyss(or forbidden knowledge, whichever) was the thing that doomed Crimson Moon Dynasty and started the Eclipse Dynasty. so maybe Crimson Moon "laughing" during the cataclysm was it mocking Eclipse Dynasty for using abyssal power that brought their downfall.

Apart from Shahnameh where Hangeh Afrasiab is only a cave, in some persian sources it is the name of a great castle with 100 pillars built by Afrasiab under the surface. According to the same source the castle had a fake sun and stars placed in its ceiling to keep the castle bright. In Shahnameh this castle is called "Paradise Gang" (this is my personal translation so I humbly send my regards to the professional translators of Shahnameh. I didn't have the time to check how they have translated this name). I couldn't find exactly what's the meaning of Gang; the only thing I could find was that there is another city called Gang where there is no night and darkness. It is also interesting that Afrasiab was killed by his own grandson who was at the time the king of another country (Iran). And thank you for the great job you're doing! I noticed that racher of solnari, might be a reference to the Dragonlance setting. In this setting there are 3 moons/moon deities one of which is Solinari the lawful good god of magic depicted by a silvery moon. Given Hoyo loves a reference it might be something.
ah, it's great to see that I am not the only one risking to get banned from the kitchen with their Khaenri'ahn theories. But yeah, this all sounds like whatever will happen in 7.x, it will be epic. And the prince of Khaenri'ah, with the theory of Anfortas being an Alberich, this could be another way to connect this. But honestly, doesn't matter as long as I can pull Anfortas in 7.x, I keep coping since there was no mention of him dying so far.
Vedrfolnir's plans are pretty clear ngl. In the Pale Princess and the 6 Pygmies, The Blind Pygmy (Vedrfolnir) wants to cease the powers of the Sun (Celesita) and keep it for him and his brothers which aligns really well with the Abyss Order's goal of Engulfing the Thrones which the Twin told us during We Will Reunited.

#1 It is possible that Dainsleif is actually the Visionary. It is well known that Dainsleif is having severe memory issues due to corrosion and time. Dainsleif is an unreliable character. Also, let's not forget that Visions have a separate meaning. Dainsleif doesn't have a vision, so where does his power come from. I also have a theory that the HP has nothing to do with the Hilichurl curse. It is likely that HP stepped in because the world was ending. I wouldn't be surprised if HP brought the twins here because it needs a replacement. A parallel to the story on Irmansol.
#2 I wouldn't be surprised if Dottore turns out to be the Wise. The sinners each appear to have a different singular focus. Gold being alchemy. Foul being power, the Visionary being control. Dottore appears to have a singular focus on gaining knowledge. He also has a connection to the abyss having used it in his experiments.

fun fact about Kaeya's story quest referencing the sword from the heavens being used by his granddad?
There's a legend/really badly documented event during Joan of Arc's trials where it is mentioned she had picked up and used a sword that according to a legend during THAT time, had belonged to Charles Martel (Charlemagne's grandfather) which he had supposedly used against the invading forces of the Muslims in the Battle of Tours in 732, who were seen as a massive horrible threat to the Christian Western Europe. The time gap between that event and Joan of Arc's life was roughly 600-650 years.
Now in Genshin, Kaeya's grandfather used the sword to vanquish several threatening monsters. He was also the one Kaeya supposedly inherited his eyepatch from. Do we know an Alberich with a lost eye that fought against monsters that threatened the people of Teyvat?

Anfortas Alberich was the last standing survivor of the Schwanenritter during the Cataclysm, in which he lost an eye while fighting back the Abyssal monsters. The time gap between that event and current day is just over 500 years.

Also, amidst all of the hogwild in this video, I’m a smidge surprised you didn’t bring up this additional bit of tinfoil: as you pointed out, the names of Clothar and Caribert Alberich draw a connection between the Alberich family and the Merovingian dynasty, which ultimately resulted in Charlemagne, who destroyed an Irminsul and therefor we can guess that Genshin’s Charlemagne, who might be Kaeya, is fated/planned to somehow destroy Irminsul. That’s already quite tinfoily, but as someone who’s a touch obsessed with Arthurian legend, I just want to point out that, supposedly, Charlemagne and his historical exploits were inspiration for Arthurian legend, particularly for the interpretations of King Arthur where he successfully conquers much of Europe. Take this with a grain of salt, of course, I’m just repeating what I can remember from my classes on Arthurian literature and from stuff I’ve heard. But anyways, if Kaeya is Genshin’s Charlemagne, that could also mean he’s actually Genshin’s King Arthur, which actually kinda tracks with their backstories: Arthur’s royal lineage was kept secret and he was instead raised as a ward/foster son/adopted son of Sir Ector alongside Ector’s son Sir Kay, Arthur’s foster brother/adopted brother who is sometimes characterized as one of Arthur’s premiere warriors as sometimes as boorish, bullying and with an acid tongue. Meanwhile you have Kaeya who may or may not have royal lineage (and if he does it’s definitely being kept secret) and who was raised as a ward/foster son/adopted son of Crepus Ragnvindr alongside Crepus’s son Diluc, who is obviously one of the best warriors in Mondstadt and who…okay I’m not sure I’d call him boorish and bullying (except toward the Knights of Favonius and the Fatui), but he isn’t exactly known for his friendly and outgoing personality. Maybe I’m crazy, but I think you can draw some parallels there between Kaeya and Arthur.
Honestly, it might be worth investigating all the Arthurianisms in Genshin relating to Khaenri’ah and Mondstadt and Kaeya and such. Just an idea I’m throwing out there in case you’re interested,
Also, if Kaeya indeed has parallels to Arthur as I said, and he also has parallels to Lord Krishna from hinduism (I’ve seen some other fans pointing this out and it makes me feral with happy because even though I have almost no knowledge of hinduism and I know little about Lord Krishna, the parallels I have spotted are so cool and it just makes me wish someone more knowledgeable than I would do a deep dive on Kaeya’s connections to Krishna), then that makes 2 instances where Kaeya is connected to legendary heroic figures who were raised by a foster family alongside an older brother figure with less chill than him (Sir Kay in the case of Arthur, Balarama in the case of Krishna). Which is not much, but it’s interesting that it’s already happened twice.
And now, although this comment is already absurdly long, if I may tie this into your video in some way (I’m sorry this diverged so much from the actual theories in your video, they’re so interesting, I just get carried away with anything Arthurian Legend), if these parallels Kaeya has to these heroic figures are valid and if your theories on Irmin being the Dagger Bandit and having started off as a hero who became a villain, seems like Kaeya is being set up as the heroic descendant of a problematic royal line who’ll defeat his now-villainous ancestor and clean up his mess, probably by somehow destroying Irminsul or at least aiding the Traveler at destroying it and also kicking Celestia’s butt. Which is suitably epic as Kaeya deserves, but also sounds exhausting. Poor man needs a nap.

The tower is one of my favorite cards because I feel like it is the most misunderstood, especially when it's a reading about a person. Said person could be an uninvited but not unwelcome guest (like Kaeya so many times we see him) (also like children...). The tower represents inevitable change and shakeups and kaijus, all the perils of having children lol. I would say the tower upright is like someone who can maintain their inner child even when the world is trying to force them to grow up (in a good way, like Kaeya?) while reversed would be a parent not letting their kid grow up, or a manchild lol

this doesn't have to do with anything, i just wanted to share that when i did caribert quest i looked for a good place to sit when i started forwarding time (idk why i just like doing this lol). the cafe was right there so i picked a random table and sat. words cannot express how jumpscared i got when kaeya just materialized right next to me lmaooo, that definitely set the tone for the rest of that quest for me
Idk how technical we can get with this because of the Chinese to English translation, but I would like to note that you can be of NOBLE blood without being of ROYAL blood. So it could be that the Alberich line never actually had someone on the throne, but they could have still held peerage in court for many generations and maybe had a noble bloodline that outlasted any royal bloodlines. Like when Princess Diana allegedly told Prince Phillip her British noble lineage was longer and thicker than his or the Windsor’s so that apparently means something. Like the Alberich might not be the biggest or most important chess piece but they’re one of the most long lasting. I’m very interested to see how Kaeya, Arlecchino, Pierro, Daensleif, the sinners and the sibling will all eventually intertwine as the remnants of Khaenri’ah
I actually have a theory why Kaeya canot make a clean break with his past.
The Loom of Fate is complete, and functional but it's completly useless as of now. It can write new leylines, but it cannot change the already existing ones. It means they cannot acheive real change with it.
But what if there is another machine/contraption they're building which may work in tandem with the Loom, which will allow it to be used as intended (or maybe it will be able to delete the already existing ones, an then the Loom can rewrite/replace them)? And maybe that is where Kaeya comes into the picture. Just like Caribert, they will need him (his body/body part) sacrificed for it to work?
Also fun fact, to be able to finish the Loom of Fate, they used the eye of th first field tiller. Maybe for their next machine they will have to use some kind of eye too (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).
I don't think Kaeya hiding one of his eyes is a accident, or he does it because it's scarred. What we know of it for sure that his eye is perfectly fine, and he is not blind. Why would he insist of wearing it. I think something is up with that eye, I think thatit is special in a (biologycal) way that will make certain organization want it.
I also find it very strange that during the night he told Diluc the sword, the only injuries Kaeya suffered was to his specific eye. Diluc wield a greatsword, and he was supposedly so angry that he was willing to kill his last remaining family member even tho he had to mercykill his father not long ago.
I think somthing is very fishy here, and this tale didn't play out the way Kaeya told us.

Great video! In your last video you went over how Kaeya sort of frowns upon the current Heavenly Principles. I think events around him are being manipulated to force his involvement. Kaeya being no dummy, sees this and that's why he's so derisive about whoever is doing this because they lack subtlety. Right now, all he can do is play his 'part', but it is waiting for an opportunity to act.
As for the lines about "there are those that exist in the corners of the world who dream of dreaming", this is basically describing people like Focalors. The corners are the cracks in the System where loopholes can be taken advantage to defy fate, because that's the dream. The Dream to defy the current Ruler's written Fate is what the dreamers desire.
I think the current Usurper Ruler is Irmin. The current enemy of the "Sinners". I think the connection between Irmin and Irminsul is LITERAL. Like the current Loom of Fate writes the fate into the soul of the Ruler, that's what gives them control; it runs of their soul and power. That's why the Heavenly Principles is asleep, the cost of over using it drains the soul. So if someone were to recreate another Loom of Fate and displace the current world it would be called Aethersul or Luminesul... you get what I'm saying.
Irminsul is equivalent to Irmin's Dream. Teyvat is currently governed by Irminsul because Teyvat is currently inside Irmin's Dream of Reality.
Edit: Just had a epiphany. On the Khaenri'ah door the symbol. What if the reason Pierro is so confidant about his plan, is because he witnessed it's success before. In hindsight after 4.8, names and fate, Irmin the last King of the Crimson Dynasty made a group of Harbingers that led to him gaining ultimate power. Pierro knows this is a loophole and is recreating the ploy; because although Irmin tried to eliminate Khaenri'ah, he failed. The Sinners fled and dispersed and Pierro is recreating the conditions that even Irmin can't overturn due to Fate! LMAO, that would be insane!

I really hope that Hoyoverse gives Kaeya what he deserves (Kaeya 5 star version hehe) because otherwise, why would they give him so much delicious lore, as a free 4 star character?
A theory by Cristal Marie (on Twitter) suggested Kaeya to be the Heart of Naberius, which would add to your crack theory of the Rhinemaidens stealing something from the Alberichs. If you haven’t read it, give it a read- they also mentioned in depth about the story of the Boar Princess and the wolf, suggesting Kaeya to be like the wolf. (Which, I kind of found similar to the way the House of the Hearth worked- defeat everybody else/use them as fodder and become ‘King’. Every orphan was a potential wolf, and ‘Mother’ was the boar princess… maybe the whole of Teyvat is in a competition like this? And I assume every powerful figure-Fatui, Archons- could be competitors…)
Another theory by yaeggravate (they have a YT channel but the theory is in written form on tumblr) suggests Kaeya to be a half seelie and connects him to the Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare, with Oberon being his father, and Titania being Nicole. It’s a very nice theory, and highlights Nicole’s role in the story as a guide of seelies- seelies which are implied to be angels, which could explain the name of ‘Angels Share’ (…and the fact that the wishing screen is in that tavern. Maybe the whole wishing screen is the stars being guided there? Idk, it’s crack and not very important but still.)
Alsooo small funny observation, if you look at Caribert’s gloves, then look in the manga at Kaeya’s gloves when he gives the vase to Diluc, they’re the exact same gloves. It’s a small detail, but I think it’s pretty cool! (Caribert’s earring, like Kaeya’s, is also on the left side of their face… but, it looks almost identical to Childe’s. I wonder what that could mean if it is intentional? It could just be hinting at the connection to the Sinners.)
Anyways, I’m kinda hoping that because of all this lore we have with Kaeya, Kaeya IL *will* actually be real. If it worked for HSR, it can work for Genshin… I’m calling it now: Kaeya=loom of fate/vessel for a god-> 5 star form (trust…)

I'm seeing barely any theory crafters mention it so I'm gonna bring it up. but there's a deeper connection between the Hexenzirkel and The Sinners of Khaenri'ah. A very obvious one, imho. You BRIEFLY brought up the Hexenzirkel in this video but didn't make the connection! So I'm posting my theory thread I made on Twt, here:
So..... it's now confirmed that Gold is not only "the greatest sinner" but one of SIX (I'm including Dain, here) sinners of Khaenri'ah.
And in league with Vedrfolnir, Dain's brother....among others. AND Vedrfolnir is THE SINNER. the one that mindspoke to us in the Caribert quest.
NOW taking that into consideration we know from the Hexenzirkel lore, and Lisa, that the members often take trips into Irminsul for "exploration." We also know from Nahida that our sibling's fate has been obfuscated and that Irminsul can be tampered with to remove/change memories
WHAT IF Gold INTENTIONALLY hid our sibling and removed us from Irminsul to protect us from The Heavenly Principles? On order of Vedrfolnir? The one who turned our sibling to his side? 🤔
We ALSO know that Gold is well versed in the art of Khemia.
An ancient form of alchemy that's all but been lost to time. Why? Because it's considered forbidden. Taboo, if you will. By? The Heavenly Principles. We know that's one reason why Khaenri'ah was destroyed by Celestia.
So, what does that have to do with anything?
Pull out the tinfoil hat because I'm going full conspiracy mode.
We know from Wanderer that, according to Pierro, our sibling showed up in Khaenri'ah because the "Heavens responded to the summoning." Combine this with the in game book Perinheri, that Khaenri'ah had an orphanage.
An orphanage where they were trying to find Descenders. Aka people who could take on Celestia. And we know from Yae that Ei created the Raiden puppet AND Wanderer by using an ancient method known only to Ei. And Ei was there at the end of the Cataclysm in Khaenri'ah.
We also know that both Albedo and Wanderer house great power inside them and can wield visions/gnoses even though they're artificial.
So how does all this connect?

What if Raiden learned Khemia from Gold or digging around in the remains of Khaenri'ah?
What if our sibling was summoned to go up against Celestia? What if we were created as a backup to that, using Khemia? And Gold is hiding us from Celestia by tampering with Irminsul so the Abyss can take on Celestia?
Also, Albedo literally has the Primordial One's symbol on him.

What if Pierro is a sleeper agent of sorts who wants to help the Sinners? And persuaded the Tsaritsa it's in her best interest to gather the gnoses? Which we know is made from the remains of the third descender?

9:44 just hit me like a firetruck!!! i was thinking of crimson moon semblance description yesterday and who the narrator could have been and thought about it maybe being vedrfolnir. the last phrase mentions burning the old world like the cryo gemstone but there's one speficif part after the mention that astronomers were seen as heretics for glimpsing at fate in the inverted image of the false sky that says something like "[this lasted] until the suspicion and anger grew like an inextinguisahable wildfire, and ravaged the DREAMLESS LAND, ultimately reaching the moon-coloured palace...". specifically because of the moon and dream connotations being similar to seelie symbolism (nabu malikata and dreams, moonlight kingdom and seelies, etc). and nicole is described very much like a seelie. she has quite a few similarities with nabu malikata, too. and besides the connections of seelies and the irminsul, as well as the ability to foresee fate, we know they might know the secrets from beyond the skies and know how to get power from the abyss. idk if this is relevant just thought of it 😂 sorry

Ok so following the crack-theory lead, I'm predicting that behind Kaeya's eyepatch is literally a red eye like in the thumbnail because he's got blood from both dynasties and that's why he's Khaenri'ahs last hope even though many signs point to him not being what's would be considered full-blooded which is apparently important - if the Alberich's were denied their right to be considered royal with the fall of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, then it's possible that they were also considered not real Khaenriahns after that as well, something that would potentially mess with the rules of the Curse and allow for a loophole. All ot would take was Kaeya's mother being of the new royal family and Kaeya wouldn't even know, not when he's been raised exclusively as an Alberich.
If Vedrfolnir is able to see fate, tantamount to seeing the future, then he may well have foreseen Laeya's loyalty to Mondstadt as well, and planned accordingly to let things get set up for them to make use if him without him knowing there's something there to be made use of

well the whole point of focalor's plan is that she can fulfill the prophecy of apocalypse without Fontaine actually being destroyed. The whale still comes, the water still rises and she's even executed for her crimes, but because of her sacrifice the people get to survive. She attempts to defy fate while playing within its rules and thats why she succeeds.

One of my initial thoughts during Bedtime Story was about how negative Dain was about Vedrfolnir and the sinners. This struck me as odd because we have other characters who have relations with the sinners (Albedo) and they're not nearly as negative. Also, khaenriah/Abyss Order and the sibling have been getting more and more sympathetic. Sinner possibly saved Fontaine. I know Dain's situation is very different, but he was saying stuff like "I will have my vengeance." It almost feels like a red herring and makes me wonder if Dain has forgotten something about the whole situation. (Like he says "no matter how eroded my memory becomes" right before vengeance bit.)
It is very noticeable that Kaeya (the blue character) has one small bit of red, a red bead, on his eyepatch side in his skin. Hoyo does not do this stuff for no reason, especially with regard to visual symbolism. (I mean, Kaeya sig dish turns arlechino X into Eclipse 8 pointed star. Sea of flowers is the background for Traveler quest in quest menu.)

Iiiii actually agree because also like... when Dain says the line about the eroded memory, there is a glitching effect. If it were any other quest, I wouldn't have thought much of it (like, he's just talking about erosion) - but given the entire nature of the quest, looking back I'm like hmmm. Especially since the sibling is the one who says Dain let Khaenri'ah fall (i dont remember if she had uses the word "traitor")

Apart from Shahnameh where Hangeh Afrasiab is only a cave, in some persian sources it is the name of a great castle with 100 pillars built by Afrasiab under the surface. According to the same source the castle had a fake sun and stars placed in its ceiling to keep the castle bright. In Shahnameh this castle is called "Paradise Gang" (this is my personal translation so I humbly send my regards to the professional translators of Shahnameh. I didn't have the time to check how they have translated this name). I couldn't find exactly what's the meaning of Gang; the only thing I could find was that there is another city called Gang where there is no night and darkness.
It is also interesting that Afrasiab was killed by his own grandson who was at the time the king of another country (Iran).

I noticed that racher of solnari, might be a reference to the Dragonlance setting. In this setting there are 3 moons/moon deities one of which is Solinari the lawful good god of magic depicted by a silvery moon. Given Hoyo loves a reference it might be something.

Vedrfolnir's plans are pretty clear ngl. In the Pale Princess and the 6 Pygmies, The Blind Pygmy (Vedrfolnir) wants to cease the powers of the Sun (Celesita) and keep it for him and his brothers which aligns really well with the Abyss Order's goal of Engulfing the Thrones which the Twin told us during We Will Reunited.

Random thought: I'm thinking maybe King Irmin was named after Irminsul because of that story of Odin hanging under a tree, and maybe Irmin did the same thing in Genshin with Irminsul. I forget some details about that Odin story, tho, so I might be way off.
