I've had my Black and Decker Professional 4 1/2" 240v with metal case since 1983 and it's still going strong. Before they stopped their Professional tool line and changed it to their DeWalt subsidiary in the 1980s.

I've got my dad's old black and decker corder drill from about 1980 still going strong. No hammer action and chuck needs a key but it has it's uses.
