  • Snail eggs need a moist soil medium for perfect incubation and hatching.
Eggs are simply buried in a loamy soil at a depth of about 3cm.
hatching occurs between 21 to 45 days depending on how well you incubate them.

i hatched thousands at a time without doing all that handling i just made sure they were moist and cool enough and they hatched you should have left the shells so the baby can eat the calcium you then feed them a grounded up mixture of chicken egg shell and grounded up vegetables

I wouldn’t recommend putting the newborn snails into a bowl of water, because they can actually drown. I would recommend putting a water dish into there, and some food. Another thing I would just let them be for the first 2 days, of course with a water dish, food, and a hide/ fake plants. :)

Leave the snails be until their shells are eaten. Immediately after hatching snails eat their shells because they need the calcium. Don't interfere with that.
