I keep reading about the Ole Miss Collective, the Michigan collective and others having tens of thousands of small donors doing small monthly donations of $10 to $20, which make their NILs really strong. I have been a season ticket holder and TAF member for over 20 years. I have yet to receive a single letter, email or phone call from Bayou Collectives reaching out to see if I would like to sign up. Not one. I know Austin has done a good job with big money guys, but the reality is that if LSU wants Bayou Collectives to be a national presence, you need the small donors. 10,000 donors signed up for $20 a month is an extra $2,400,000 a year. LSU must get their small donor outreach going.

@Sonnynola123 back in the Harbaugh era, Michigan wasn't paying *anything* to recruits and at the time he was being recruited Matt Weiss, who was known as a terrible recruiter. It seems like Harbaugh just wasn't that interested and that turned Bryce off. It took a lot of work from Sherrone and the staff to repair that relationship.
He wanted to be a wolverine but he isn't a moron either and understands his talent deserves compensation. Harbaugh didn't want to pay him anything so he committed to LSU. One of the first things Moore did when he took over was tell the donors that if we don't get this NIL thing going now then we'll get left in the dust. Moore's work behind the scenes on NIL and recruiting is why his job is safe for now.
Nowadays, even though High School recruiting is even crazier than it used to be with legal money involved, if a top rated kid chooses a School with the tipping point being money, there's a very good chance that if things aren't working out after 2yrs, they will enter the portal. anyway.
All this whining and completely ignore the guy's video as a child saying he's bringing his talent to UM. Destiny unfolding at it's finest. You guys were playing the NIL game when Michigan wasn't. Now buckle up! Please do yourself a favor and go watch his Michigan committment video.
LSU and Louisiana have the Big Money Fish! They just need to get them, but are not passionate like Jolin Ellison. That is what they need a passionate Billionaire and LA and LSU has them.
As far as Michigan recruiting looking great right now, any concern that some players could leave if a post-season ban gets imposed by the slow-moving NCAA? NCAA just granted UofM a 30-day response extension 11/25 to the "Notice Of Allegation" from 3 months ago for the un-resolved "cheating scandal." Won't this request by UofM make a resolution take longer now with nothing settled for several months? Are recruits even aware this is ALL 100% still pending? because depending on the final settlement, I bet some top athletes will choose to leave if the team becomes post-season ineligible the next few years! Would players get only a portion of NIL $; forced to give $ back and be hit with legal action if they start leaving? Could get messy for donors & especially PLAYER$. 😞 VERY concerned, don't think we have enough answers in the "advanced in-person scouting" scandal; I feel there could be a mass exodus & doesn't this extention only prolong knowing how serious sanctions will be?
LSU if it holds it course will be fine without Underwood. Can't blame the fella...that is a lot of money... If losing one player breaks your roster...there is something wrong with your roster...
The love of Money 💰 is the root of all Evil and it won’t end well for Brice. Can you imagine what his teammates who really want to be a wolverine think about him. This really is a blessing for LSU y’all, we escaped getting a DUPR 😅. Coach needs to keep building the core roster with Louisiana talent which is world class. The next few years are looking really great for our roster. Be patient and be ready for the next few years of LSU championship football 🏈
There is nothing wrong with what Bryce Underwood did. He achieved financial security for himself and his family before becoming a professional player. Tomorrow isn't promised, and neither is success guaranteed.
Bryce's commitment video, he's 7 y/o, and he says, "I'm gonna take my talents to Michigan" not LSU but Michigan so WTF are you still going on about? Bryce committed to LSU in the first place because you had NIL and Michigan didn't. Portnoy changed that, that's all. You need to let it go.

Thanks for the clarity Matt. Thought he chose LSU because Harbaugh was not recruiting him and he felt slighted? You don’t even know if Moore can be a good head coach.
At this point can we just leave it alone and move on as a LSU fan I’m upset that he flipped but owe well there’s nothing we can do about it. Everyone knows that “recruiting the right way” in the SEC has meant sliding a bag under the table . Too bad UM has joined the party and they have unmatched resources.
Bro, I really hope you read this. You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. You have said multiple times over multiple podcasts that Underwood has never set foot on UM campus for over a year. That is COMPLETELY false. You would know that if you had any actual sources other than LSU jaded ones. Bryce took a secret visit to UM in the spring. Sherrone has been working this for almost a year. Like I said, I hope you read this and respond. You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.
Doesn’t matter how it happened or who had a relationship. The fact is he’s going to Michigan and not LSU. We are in a new world. All of the complaining about the money is old. The genie is not going back in the bottle.
He was telling the story about Jolin Ellison stating, "the guy didn't wear headsets" making the uncertain statement. The story was stepped on by one of the other guys listening to Portnoy, which partially confused the satiation. I get that there is aggravation and dislike from LSU fans. I would be too, if a top commit was snagged away from my team too. As a reporter, by stating that Portnoy isn't a true fan because he doesn't remember who that stated coach was you are either: 1 - purposefully delivering misinformation or 2 - didn't do your job thorough enough
Someone will need to remind him where the "big house " is and who the coach is 😂. Good for him. Sucks for us. Clearly not an NIL deal. It's pay for skill. Curious if Cone still thinks the coaches sold Underwood on being a Michigan man?
Michigan is one of the Top Schools in the U.S., (*literally All of their Graduate Programs are ranked in the Top 10 of their respective lists, it's hard to get in, a lot of intelligent people attend that University) and after graduating a good number of Alumni go on to make a lot of money which means the School has the money one way or another to support the NIL efforts, collectives, etc to get the Top Recruits now that they're playing the NIL Game.
Yall mad or naw 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you got to understand Michigan got 10 Billionaire people that graduated from Michigan it’s over for NCAA football Michigan about to be on top for a min
It's a lot more than 10 billionaires. I think it's somewhere between 30 and 40 lol. My spartan friends had that funeral swag going all week. They know it's over for them. They missed their chance to steal one when they choked this year.
Michigan football is poverty regardless. They’re worried about Underwood saving them and Harbaugh is the reason they were relevant these last few years.
you understand Michigan is the one with money right? Michigan is going to end up with players from your class because your broke, but they are poverty.
You guys keep going on about the money and using the fact that Bryce "never set foot on the Michigan campus..." as the proof. You're embarrassing yourselves. Obviously, money was a factor. But you will never convince me that it was just a $6 million bump right now. Bryce has way too much upside at the next level to put it at risk for $6 million now. He's got promises from Tom Brady for mentoring. There will be some big changes at coaching too. I know it's hard to admit it but here it is - Michigan has entered the chat and you SEC schools can't hang with all that we have to offer. The history The facilities The alumni network The academic reputation And now the bag The money was the missing piece. Now that the legal battles have been settled the gates are open. SEC had a nice run being the only gig in pay for play. Maybe you all can spend your time scrapbooking, so you don't forget the "good ol' days". Geaux Blue!
Dude it been about the money 💰 with LSU for Decades and the SEC and you guys been paying these kids under the table for Decades and now we have people at other University with bigger pockets who can legally out spend yall and now it's a problem because yall been doing it illegal for Decades 😂😂😂😂
It's dumb "to pay up for a QB#1 who never took a snap in college"...but it's genius to pay Saban money to a coach that had never won the biggest game in any season in his career. Oh, and let's guarantee this mistake for 10 years. Logic isn't your forte.
Him and the super rich couple just opened a can of worms. Wait until these Dubai guys get bored and for joke makes some random school like App State national champs
Michigan fans funny AF. They cried about OSU spending 12 million in the transfer portal for players with experience but they are happy they spent 12 million on one player. Delusional.
In that case, it’s the fact Michigan folks hear constantly from OSU people about how highly rated their recruiting classes are vs. Michigan’s classes, especially the last three years, only to have the end result be in Michigan’s favor. I can’t begin to tell you how played out it’s been in my Big 10 alum FB group seeing that thrown in our/Michigan alums’ faces. Putting up whatever millions OSU did just appeared desperate, so I didn’t see “crying” (I can’t speak on “fans” because collegiate fandom by non-alums is rooted purely in emotion and is kind of irrational, imo) but I did see amusement. OSU folks/fans are more personally and emotionally invested in football than Michigan alums are.
The Big Ten fans are smoking some dope. OSU has never had an issue recruiting players but all of a sudden the North is spending money and no more SEC is a joke. OSU and Oregon will continue dominating and the rest of the Big Ten will be trash as usual. SEC has and will continue to dominate
@Sonnynola123 word. The Michigan fans are all over these LSU shows giving posting comments. Most of them talking about Michigan money. These fools were trash before and had a all time great coach. They need more than money to continue competing

No LSU fan or Michihan fan so I don't have an emotional side. Happy for this kid to make money. What I'm concerned about is to do this 2 weeks prior to signing which prevented LSU in this case to be recruiting a hi profile QB. No QB would've looked at LSU knowing Underwood was “committed”. Fill in the name of your school & it's not ideal and this needs to be corrected.
I’ll believe Underwood to mich when I see his pen to paper for mich. I’m still hoping for Underwood pen to LSU paper. We’ll see in a week. Don’t care what anybody has to say.
So his commitment announcement has a home video clip of him "committing to the Michigan Wolverines" as a little kid, the whole video theme is "coming home" and he grew up literally 20 minutes away... but somehow it's just a money thing? Ok. Sure.
Also, Dave Portnoy knows who Brady Hoke is. Go listen to the clip again.
Just because you're sad you lost your #1 recruit (and are about to lose more), doesn't mean you have to make a clown of yourself.
@@kevinpowers2959
when he committed to LSU did he forget he lived 20 minutes from Michigan!?! 😂
@@kevinpowers2959
so it was about the money, got it
Nowadays, even though High School recruiting is even crazier than it used to be with legal money involved, if a top rated kid chooses a School with the tipping point being money, there's a very good chance that if things aren't working out after 2yrs, they will enter the portal. anyway.
All this whining and completely ignore the guy's video as a child saying he's bringing his talent to UM. Destiny unfolding at it's finest. You guys were playing the NIL game when Michigan wasn't. Now buckle up!
Please do yourself a favor and go watch his Michigan committment video.
AND YOUR POINT ?
LSU and Louisiana have the Big Money Fish! They just need to get them, but are not passionate like Jolin Ellison. That is what they need a passionate Billionaire and LA and LSU has them.
As far as Michigan recruiting looking great right now, any concern that some players could leave if a post-season ban gets imposed by the slow-moving NCAA?
NCAA just granted UofM a 30-day response extension 11/25 to the "Notice Of Allegation" from 3 months ago for the un-resolved "cheating scandal."
Won't this request by UofM make a resolution take longer now with nothing settled for several months?
Are recruits even aware this is ALL 100% still pending? because depending on the final settlement, I bet some top athletes will choose to leave if the team becomes post-season ineligible the next few years!
Would players get only a portion of NIL $; forced to give $ back and be hit with legal action if they start leaving?
Could get messy for donors & especially PLAYER$. 😞
VERY concerned, don't think we have enough answers in the "advanced in-person scouting" scandal; I feel there could be a mass exodus & doesn't this extention only prolong knowing how serious sanctions will be?
Clifton Webb offensive lineman at Zachary would be a great get for the tigers
LSU if it holds it course will be fine without Underwood. Can't blame the fella...that is a lot of money... If losing one player breaks your roster...there is something wrong with your roster...
Pickett will be in Michigan for the holiday… hanging with Bryce
Still telling that lie about him not being on campus, how can you have this gig and be so uninformed.
Moore will be fired in two years. Michigan can show BU how to steal signs 😅
@ you sound hurt. Moore will be just fine, while LSU poverty school falls deeper and deeper into the pits of the SEC
@@AjBBQandSmokingthis hit me in the funniest way. "The pit".😂
I'm guessing you voted for Trump, the root of all evil.
Bryce came in a month or 2 ago and spent all day with Moore. Even sat in on the Qb meetings
With that said. Of course it was about the money lol
Sometimes you gotta just go for character.
Lol, he was playing for a peewee Michigan team firstly and secondly it's clear his parents told him to say that. Hahaha that dude has no love for pathetic Michigan.
Y’all still not winning a damn thing
Bryce literally said he didn’t wanna play at Michigan cause who have they developed? Learn your facts before saying lies!
It's called a coping mechanism! These guys are trying to cope. 😂😂😂
Thanks for the clarity Matt. Thought he chose LSU because Harbaugh was not recruiting him and he felt slighted? You don’t even know if Moore can be a good head coach.
Free markets, less NCAA regulation, make america great again.

At this point can we just leave it alone and move on as a LSU fan I’m upset that he flipped but owe well there’s nothing we can do about it. Clearly he did take visits because every Michigan fan is saying he did and they would know more than us. I’m just ready to be done with talking about this dude
We thought you did bro it’s the sec thought it meant more lmao Bryce never needed to step on it he grew up on UM campus oh y’all about to lose some wideouts
We aren’t losing nobody but meadows stop it

@@Cdrop63 listen to us, Michigan is going to end up with 3 players that were in your class because you don;t have the money to keep them.
@ yeah I’d believe it when I see it. Why are yall talking like you’re playoff bound this year? 😂😂
@@Cdrop63nice way to change the topic away from your poverty program. Smells like broke in here..
LSU and Media should get over. It is all about money and lies.
It appears we don’t need to put in all this effort for recruiting we just need to find a Portnoy to go get on his knees to bring in more billionaires
He had a lot to say.
He had a lot of nothing to say....We'll miss him
As as UM alum, I must say I think NIL has ruined college football. However, I find it laughable that an SEC school would feign outrage over being outbid. Everyone knows that “recruiting the right way” in the SEC has meant sliding a bag under the table . Too bad UM has joined the party and they have unmatched resources.
Bro you may be the worst sports reporter of all time 😂
Bro, I really hope you read this.
Yeh 313 stop hate lsu
Dixon needs to put his ear back to the ground , rumblings around A2 is DJ is headed north .
Hope, Michigan has the right coach for him, Do not think so
That's the reason why Jim Harbaugh didn't recruit him. I wouldn't be surprised after two seasons he leaves Michigan.
Bryce is a monster I’ve been 2 every game he’s local he pissed at harbs that’s all
Doesn’t matter how it happened or who had a relationship. The fact is he’s going to Michigan and not LSU. We are in a new world. All of the complaining about the money is old. The genie is not going back in the bottle.
Another Louisiana 5 star soon to be a Trojan 🔥✌️💯💯
I think offering 3 million dollars of his own money trumps not remembering Brady Hoke’s name. Nice try though
12 mil for the University of Mars? Ehhh, I think he would have held out for more!
Big Michigan fan you’re a very good sports broadcaster.
UMICH runs a tecmo bowl offense I'm surprised it didn't take 20 million. What a dumpster fire the offense is this year
That has absolutely nothing to do with next year
Michigan is one of the Top Schools in the U.S., (*literally All of their Graduate Programs are ranked in the Top 10 of their respective lists, it's hard to get in, a lot of intelligent people attend that University) and after graduating a good number of Alumni go on to make a lot of money which means the School has the money one way or another to support the NIL efforts, collectives, etc to get the Top Recruits now that they're playing the NIL Game.
Pickett will be a Michigan Wolverine!!!!!!!
Michigan is going to end up with players from your class because your broke, but they are poverty.
almost 30 billionaire alums but yea UM is broke lol
This is payback for Jai Eugene 🤣🤣🤣
You guys keep going on about the money and using the fact that Bryce "never set foot on the Michigan campus..." as the proof.
You're embarrassing yourselves.
Obviously, money was a factor. But you will never convince me that it was just a $6 million bump right now. Bryce has way too much upside at the next level to put it at risk for $6 million now. He's got promises from Tom Brady for mentoring. There will be some big changes at coaching too.
I know it's hard to admit it but here it is - Michigan has entered the chat and you SEC schools can't hang with all that we have to offer.
The history
The facilities
The alumni network
The academic reputation
And now the bag
The money was the missing piece. Now that the legal battles have been settled the gates are open. SEC had a nice run being the only gig in pay for play. Maybe you all can spend your time scrapbooking, so you don't forget the "good ol' days".
Geaux Blue!
A tainted championship for a tainted school.

All the mfers we done sent to the NFLSU and we cant get some rich mfers together to compete?!!!!
you cant compete with Michigan money lol
It's dumb "to pay up for a QB#1 who never took a snap in college"...but it's genius to pay Saban money to a coach that had never won the biggest game in any season in his career. Oh, and let's guarantee this mistake for 10 years. Logic isn't your forte.
Thanks Dave Man U stand for everything I want a mi man to be have a day king swamp them wit the bills can’t so no at 17 can they
Go blue 😊
UM gonna be sick when he wants to transfer.
LSU is gonna be fine you don’t have to have imaginary beef with a teenager.
Just FYI, I was Bengal Tiger for a long time and had to change because of confusion with The Bengal Tiger
wrong on Portnoy bubba he knows Hoke very well...
SEC SEC SEC NO MO NIL NIL NIL
The Big Ten fans are smoking some dope. OSU has never had an issue recruiting players but all of a sudden the North is spending money and no more SEC is a joke. OSU and Oregon will continue dominating and the rest of the Big Ten will be trash as usual. SEC has and will continue to dominate
and hanging out watching LSU shows like some insecure school girl who can’t believe Chad ask her to the prom
@Sonnynola123 word. The Michigan fans are all over these LSU shows giving posting comments. Most of them talking about Michigan money. These fools were trash before and had a all time great coach. They need more than money to continue competing
That’s why I have my money in Bitcoin, because if you’re give a kid 12 million dollars to play college football, the money can’t be worth anything. Sounds like pesos.
cope.......underwood been a Michigan fan his entire life
Big bank take lil bank😎
If LSU doesnt offer jahkeem stewart a huge nil offer they are idiots, he will be chris jones like, there is no way in hell they should let him go he is exactly what this defense needs, if they lose the best player in louisiana they will regret this I promise
