The key to a good review is understanding exactly what the consumer wants to know. For this product its: 1) how does the viewing experience compare to the previous model. 2) is there a positive change in the viewing angle. 3) any other significant changes. 4) how is the pricing, is the previous model dropping i price and how much, and your personal take on what model to buy. The rest doesnt matter :)
A real upgrade would be mini LED technology in The Frame series or matte display in those models that already have it. Lower power consumption is great but it's still too little change.
So the "Big" upgrades are, energy efficiency and a better art store (which presumably the old versions would get too)? That's a bummer and a misleading title.
It was already Pantone approved in 2022, and the refresh rate change is going to save you like $5 per month at best, if you are in the room 16 hours per day, every day. This is such a bad upgrade.
That was like the worst update ever.. total lack of any information talking a lot but saying nothing. Like what is the side view angle, HOW MUCH LESS power consumption.. I mean come on if you alrady bother to send someone there why not provide any info. total waste of time.
I’ve just purchased a TV The Frame 2023 as a gift for S.Valentine, I’m quite relieved to know that the improvements of the 2024 version are so marginal 😌😌😌😌😌😌 Basically: 1)More energy efficiency (who cares, I’m not gonna stay in the room long enough to make a big difference) 2) Pantone Validated ArtfulColor, but the 2023 model had a similar certification “Pantone Validated” (as every other QLED Samsung tv in 2022 and 2023)…I’m not sure there is a real improvement here or just a new certificate created for this tv. 3) More pieces of arts in the store, I imagine that they are available even for the previous models (I seriously doubt that Samsung created a store just for this model) 4)Easier way to upload personal pictures…Well, I’ll upload them the hard way, I’ll take the risk 😅😅😅
Let me display my own photos from SMB/NFS server, without using a stupid app. And why 60 Hz, why not like 5 Hz ? I bet the energy savings are minuscule (speaking of which when you say that this is a big deal you should state real numbers of how many kWh will one save)
Got the 2024 55" for my mom a couple of days ago at Best Buy. Technically it's not available for sale yet; we got super lucky & got to take one home a week earlier before it's available to the public (God's favor).. Had a 'blast' installing it yesterday. Looks perfect on her wall - the whole picture frame vibe suits her style perfectly. I'm more of a signature series OLED guy, but this TV suits a feminine home perfectly. 👌
If the connection box will transfer signal wireless as is the case in that short throw projector... I'm buying it ASAP, the cable that is included in the box for 23 is too short for my needs and just a hasle in general
with such a cheap price now it almost feels like a no brainer. I can get the frame 580 euros in EU or a similar spec TV around 800 without the added art functionality :D atm is the best time to get one as it looks like massive discounts before the next ver comes out soon
50% of her review was recording herself making the review, the other 50% images of the tv unrelated to what she is saying, 0% is actually hands on or any objective information on the updates

yup 100% that's what I've been searching for. I still haven't seen anything to tell me that it's actually worth upgrading

Will the Art Store updates come to the 2022/23 models as well, or are they restricted to the 2024 models only?

The Pantone colour correction is huge

So what are thise updates? I think I missed it.

Considering that this TV will be on like 5 a day (max) savings will never be noticed for regular users.

I am all on board the frame train.
This is a really underwhelming update.
Great, then you can get the 2023 for cheap ;)

Is it any faster? The 2022 version is so painfully slow that I've considered getting rid of it.

Just ordered our 75 inch The Frame
This should be an firmware update lol

Samsung sells a cable that’s 3x as long
I’d gladly trade my 2 week old LG 77 G3 OLED for a 2024 Samsung 75 Frame tv.
Are older versions 120hz?
Yes, but only 55+ inches
Just wish they would fix the ABYSMAL software experience on my frame tv.
sell it.
Are viewing angles from the side any better?
If they were surely they'd advertise that. The features they have announced are less impressive than better viewing angles.

No local dimming?
Why wireless? There still needs to be power cord.
are you dumb?
As long as that crappy software’s still on it I wouldn’t recommend anybody to purchase these. What a hell.
They fixed the software in last year's model
sell it!
what year model do you have
why don't they make the frame oled?
Becaouse burning out issue. LCD don't butn out, OLED do.
Because they wouldn't be able to do that and have it still look like art. Incompatible technology for this purpose.
You can display amazing free art from TH-cam channels so you don't have to buy and upload images! 🥰 📺🎨
Should i buy 2022 Model Or 2024 Model
2022
2023

So not worth it to upgrade from a 2022 model to a 2024 model then.
