Tim and Eric here probably respected the fact that Maron was real about not getting their work so they gave him a genuine interview.
If so, I love them even more because you don't have to get them, they just care if you're genuine.
The reaction of Marc when Eric told him about having seen Caligula is priceless.

I always thought if I heard them talk out of character too much, it might ruin my opinion of the rest of the rest of their humor so I've tried to avoid it but this only makes it funnier.
That'll only happen with Tim, he's naturally pretentious so you see more of it if you watch his weekly Office Hours podcast

He has great guests.he has created a great long form loose concept for the podcast, but I just can't stand his narcissistic insecurity. He always is comparing himself to the guests accomplishments.and he has an attitude towards them. He was obviously a fan of these two, but if he is not then he shows it.
