I love your style! I find that I watch so many young women decorate their homes I love their sense of style. I haven’t found any more mature women on TH-cam doing this. I’m 75 and I still love thrifting and decorating my home.

In your diningroom: That note from the Bible should be framed. Beautiful quote. Paint the shelf brackets black. Think it would look good over your mirrored cabinet and move the winter landscape where the shelf is now. The carved flower can stay where it is and it would now be over the painting. Just for a change. You have some beautiful antique pieces. Fun to change them around.

That entry wall is perfect for a gallery wall. Just put an empty picture frame around thermostat and make it part of the collage wall. It'll blend in well once you have everything hung.

You have done an amazing job of making a rental look like a home. I love all the touches. The hanging lamp will look amazing in that arched nook. I do think a small area rug under that dining table would really warm up the space and make it feel cozy. Especially with that gorgeous new little dark wood cabinet.
Sweetheart I just want to say I am a grandmother of 5 with two children so I think I can say this from the bottom of my heart and you will understand. Please never feel like what you do is not enough, your channel is one of my favorites, you are so sweet and I think you have an old soul because my children only want new stuff which I do not care for all that much and I am so happy that many of you younger girls are loving vintage and antique items. Love your dining room ceiling light, music stand and picture above it. Also including the old Bibles is perfect. I am imagine what your home looked like before you moved in and now it's so cozy and beautiful. I think vintage items are what makes a home unique. In the suitcase opening since you have your riding hat, it would be good if you had a black-and-white portrait card of a horse in the suitcase, or the second picture could be an old travel, ticket, suitcase, traveling, or even portraits of a destination, Paris, or wherever black-and-white

Have you thought of maybe placing a shelf above or below the thermostat. Then drape some greenery to camouflage it.
The hall is so narrow that I’m not sure having a shelf stick out would be practical. Garrett already hits his head on the one shelf we have in the house! Lol 😂

I have to say I sat down to watch your video with a cup of tea to take a little break and I absolutely loved watching it. I love how you styled your home for winter - the gorgeous entry area (that pinecone garland is gorgeous); I love your riding hat and the vignette in the top suitcase; the black and white toile pillow is awesome on your gorgeous chair; I think the pendant light is a great idea for that little narrow nook space; I love the crocks and baskets near the fireplace; and that antique sheet music cabinet 😍😍😍 LOVE IT!!!! I have been a subscriber for awhile now but never comment lol. I love how you have decorated for winter. The entry way is so welcoming... everything looks beautiful and cozy. Your new sheet music cabinet is so cool and your chandelier is beautiful!! I love the story about the note in the Bible, so glad that it helped you. I really enjoy your channel and missed you while you where away. You are a sweet young lady. I don't see many of the younger kids (30 yo) liking vintage decor. You have great taste. My kids aren't interested yet.. maybe one day. Hey I have and idea for the shelf that you don't care for much... maybe purchase a dowel rod at walmart, paint it white or stain it brown to match the shelf then run it through one of the holes in the white braces. Then hang vintage aprons, scarfs or get some S hooks and hang a basket etc. Aprons or scarfs would hang down and take up some of that bare space beneath the shelf.

I'm in love with the sheet music cabinet. I would love to find one. It reminds me of my dad, who was a pianist. The chandelier is lovely. I got ice skates when I was about 12. I wish I still had them. Perfect for winter decor. Your little personal chalkboards are called, slates. They always remind me of Little House on the Prarie. Lol! I loved that show, when I was a kid. And the books. The hanging lamp in the alcove sounds interesting. You should give it a try. : )

Sugestion, the blinds in the diner room could be repaced with short curtains from the middle down. It will give the look that goes with your decoration. I am sure your dinning room will look much better. However, thanks for your video. GBY

Oh I think the hanging light will be perfect in your little nook! What a lovely gift that fell out of the Bible❤️ I love the saying. Maybe some olive branches from hobby lobby in the vases instead of the trees you don’t like. I have some in a vase and love them. The chandelier is gorgeous! Love your videos. I found a beautiful old dresser that Was missing the mirror but still had the supports on top with the small glove drawers. I collect old vintage bar mirrors and put one on the wall between the supports. Then I put up 2 matching shelves above. This is in my dinning room and I Love decorating it for the seasons and it is practical also for linen and dish storage. I so encourage you to find something for in your area that you mentioned. Love your style!

Love the chandelier!!!! Maybe you could paint the corbels of that shelf black like your chairs and leave the shelf part the way it is. And, so you know, I'm going to paint my dining room chairs black like you did. They look awesome!!! I would love to find one/some of those panoramic old framed photos, but so far, no luck.
