Rexhep Rexhepi is a rather special person. Not only is he extremely talented. But he is also a gentleman, a family man and a friend. He brings so much to the watch business and I am very sure he will bring much joy and pleasure to collectors as well as friends of the industry. I can't wait to see what the next chapters have to offer. All the good things from Ed!
I can’t get over all the changes that Rexhep made in the CC2 movement from the CC1 original. The CC1 movement is gorgeous, but the twin barrels of the CC2 create a symmetry that is sublimely elegant. I kept pausing the video to examine the caseback more closely. And for a watchmaker who focus is the movement, the dial designs are my favourite of any watch. The hand engraved gratté pattern on the platinum version’s subdial is such a creative and beautiful feature. Every tiny detail of the CC2 exemplifies Rehxep’s passion.
Only 35 and already making a splash. Brilliant. I really like the aesthetic of his watches, unlike some independents, who are incredible watchmakers, but the end result sometimes puts me off. It will be exciting to follow him.
Very nice interview, Tim. I remember meeting Rex and getting to know about Akrivia during the first Dubai Watch Week. It's amazing to see how the brand and Rex himself matured about watchmaking. Best, Amintas
Watchbox is so much better then the views it gets. It’s crazy that this only has 13K views. Tim is a brilliant watch journalist as well. If you can call him a journalist?
I'm late to watch this, but this is an incredible video with a pioneering haute horologerie watchmaker and designer! Those movement decorations are stunning and almost otherworldly knowing that human hands created such fine, precise perfection throughout, especially the mile-wide anglage! Thank you ⌚💗

Keep up the good work Rexhep very proud that a fellow countrymen has become one of the brightest watchmaker of his generation
beautiful watch but i would expect the jumping second to land precisely at the seconds markers..
Yup
So would I; I wondered if it was the angle at which I was looking.
Amazing interview. Rexhep seems like a stand up guy and Tim is an excellent interviewer.

Thank you ⌚💗
Rexhep Rexhepi is my grail. If i could afford one, it would be my end watch.
Another brilliant interview by Mr Mosso 😎
The case and lugs of RR remind me of Patek 5016R case and lugs. Weren’t they both designed by JPH?
Would love to see video like this done with the Gronefeld brothers. Their stuff is also very much one of a kind.
Great interview! Enjoyed it
And the interview you have now have in the back ground a Debethune 😉
New subscriber
I’m getting Vacheron vibes from these watches. Nice
I would so love to buy a watch from them but they don’t have time answering my email 😢.
👍🤣😪
Another level 🔥
Seconds hand not aligned with markings :/
I do like the way it ticks like a Quartz
❤
COOL
Harry Albers, is that you?
If it gets better I haven't seen it
"Visually it's like a 39." No it's not. A 41mm size tuna can is 41mm. We're not stupid.
Is he Albanian
Da, Albanac sa Kosova 👍🇦🇱
Rolex tho
I wonder if he is related to that other Rexhep from Ankara! the Erdogan🤔🤫
Cool interview but The host needs a haircut bad. Dude looks like he just got out of bed
