Thanks for the video. In 2010 I was a passenger on this plane, travelling from Tallinn to Kuressaare and back. Really nice that this airplane can move backwards. Another memory is that during the flight one of the plastic sidewall panels came loose.
Very glad that I found this video, as I fly this aircraft type quite a lot in a simulator environment (not a real world pilot). I was interested to see that the condition levers were pulled back during climb out, could you please advise as to what position they were set and why? Kind regards from the UK :-)
Very nice, learning the SAAB in XP11. So finding out as much as I can about the real thing.
Good. Fly safe!
The LES Saab 340 is amazing Mr. Mango.

Happy to hear you were able to fly with them!
Thanks for this video. I was developing some panels for 340 and this really helps to get some real world flying data.
Glad it helped! Thanks!
A beautiful aircraft.
Yes, it looks good 👍
Great airplane! I flew it for three years...
Thank you very much for the great movie about the SAAB 340. Very interesting insights into this great aircraft. 👍
Happy to hear you like it.
Please share and subscribe so I can keep uploading videos like this! 👍
Cool livery!
Thanks for the video. I didn't know about this company.
You're welcome!
@@VikingWings I would recommend to you to mark the airport's name in the subtitles.
I tried. Have a look :-)
I loved flying with Estonian Air, but to my regret it went bankrupt some 5 years ago.
A POWERBACK!? YES!
How about that reverse taxi at 43:05, never seen that before!
Cool, right? 😎 Also used in the US but rare.... Thank you for watching. 👍
Nice video!
:-)
Thank you! Enjoy!

Happy to hear you like it. I think we have to wait for someone to answer your question about the condition levers... I have no idea :-)
Prop RPM is set to 1230 and TQ normally to 90% during initial climb. CL comes back to max before landing.
I have a few hundred hours flying Saabs... I really miss the audio control panel mire than anything else.
Mida tähendab "pehme pööre"?
Today is same?
why always start engine #1 first instead of alternating? This way the wear, run time and thermal stress on the starter-generators is even.
No sunglasses?
um......im confused didn' t Estonian Air suspend operations 5-6 years ago or this is something diffrent?
This was filmed back in 2010. 👍
Ex-American Eagle?
really slammed her in there on that second flight! hahaha
Who else from estonia?
Does this plan SAAB 340 still manufactured ?
No, not anymore.
Captain Meelis COVID?!
Ah, this was filmed many years ago, before the media taught you to be afraid...
