Ace and Zim believe Jermaine Burton is going to be a HUGE bonus to the side for the 2024 season.
And with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins lining up in stripes again, the guys believe the Amigos are back - despite Tyler Boyd's departure.

True the 21' draft only had Chase and McPherson. As I look back I pray the 22' and 23' draft prospects step up because honestly they been slipping since that epic 2020 draft.
Hey I agree I believe it's the best draft Cin's ever had besides getting Joe & tee & Logan but besides those 3 everyone else really was a impact player like this draft is I think everyone Cin's drafted can be a impact player specially Mims Jenkins Barton & Jackson an the 2 TE CB and the other DL & safety & C I believe can all become starters and good players the first 4 pks I think will B really good

Our WRs were successful in all those periods you mentioned, but our Olines were outstanding. Oline is so overlooked simply because they aren't holding the ball when TOUCHDOWN flashes across the screen.

First three picks are going to be home runs for this team. That’s really all you can ask for. Jackson, Newton, Lee, and possibly both TE’s will all have a role too. Great draft in my book
Erick All was completely recovered from his spinal surgery before he was accepted by Iowa (Tight End U) and he became an instant starter there and balled out before he had an unfortunate ACL. Players return from ACLs every day, he’ll be fine and he says he’ll be ready by training camp. The reason he left Michigan is they were going to shut him down after spinal surgery and he wanted to play and be a high draft pick like he felt he deserved. Tough kid, great receiver with good change of direction and RAC chops. Capable blocker, he can be an effective inline TE now, but he does have some room to improve as a blocker. He can split out wide, or be a move TE… he can do it all. I love his upside. Everyone talks about McLachlan’s size and athleticism, but Erick All is bigger, younger, and a whole lot faster and more athletic. I don’t get the hate for the pick, All is drawing George Kittle and Dalton Kincaid comps.

@@zimwhodey9228 Hey Zim! Well I’m speculating on why All left Michigan, but it sounds plausible to me. If that’s what you meant. I’m not saying spinal issues don’t sometimes come back to be an issue, but Gronkowski had the same minimally invasive type of spinal procedure and still balled out in the NFL for what, 10 years? I’m not saying All isn’t a risk, I’m just tired of hearing a lot of people acting like he won’t ever see the field. Personally I think he’ll recover from the ACL and be able to contribute soon.

Bengals drafted the better tackle than the Steelers. I think Mims will be one of,if not the best tackle in this draft. He’s more athletic and stronger than Fashaunu is.
The problem with Jackson is everyone looks at his size and assumes he’s a good NT but he has never been able to anchor well against double teams, which is your ONE JOB as a nose tackle. Jackson’s best attributes are his size and his good first step. So by reaching for Jackson in the third, where we should have been drafting instant starters, all we got was a space eater with a good first step. THAT is why almost everyone had at least a fifth round or later grade on him. Bengals are hoping they can turn Jackson into a nose, which means he should have been drafted at least one round later as a project. F grade for this pick, well below average, and that’s being generous. Bengals could have gotten Fabien Lovett or Evan Anderson as PFAs and at least got players who show some consistency holding up vs. double teams. Hell they could have just brought back Josh Tupou. Comparing Jackson to Pat Sims is ridiculous, Sims was a talented run stuffer worthy of a second round pick.
Bengals line graded 15-16 defense 30. Enough said that’s why drafted the way we did. A+ draft

@zimwhodey9228 Lee should make it and definitely 1 but maybe 2 TEs. Without projecting injuries no way the S or the DE make it, and I don't think a sub 6 foot corner who ran a 4.5 something 40 can play boundary & we have several slot corners already.

The 6 teams for Burton is kind of bullshit. He was at an academy in Georgia, moved, Georgia changed its rules so he became ineligible to play for the school he wanted so went back to original school (welcomed back), then his family moved back to California. They made it sound like he was kicked off teams, which never happened
