I think they should honor Marvin Lewis with a thank you video on the big board before the game. Just show some appreciation to what Marvin created here in Cincinnati both on and off the field.
As long as Joe Burrow stays healthy during training camp,and we go into week 1 with a healthy Joe Burrow this Bengals team will be just fine. Keeping Joe healthy all year is top priority! Also getting the O line some snaps in the preseason is a must! We have a new piece at RT in Trent Brown,and our LG and LT need some snaps as well. This O line must play at a high level to start the season,because if Burrow gets hit a lot to start the season it could lead to injuries early in the year. The O line needs reps in the preseason to protect the franchise!
Bengals record is not going to based on the offense. It is based on Joes health first and if the D can be better than they were last year. If Joe is great doesn’t mean a perfect season. It means the D needs to be average or above. If it’s below or Joes hurt……oooooohhhh
I even hate the dayum narrative that Marvin sucked he didn't win a playoff game and blah blah blah.. if look at his team they all limped into the playoffs with the exception of Carson being injured and even then our mvp qb season was ended with a shady low hit... Marvin didn't fkn fumble the ball Jeremy hill did and he was told to hold onto the ball... Jeremy Hill lost that game single handedly... we had a backup qb and ahould have won... but that's on marvin... people are soo stupid and narrow minded.... if Mike brown opened up his coffers like he did with this coaching staff there would have been a different story we would have never had a chance at a Joe burrow but no most fans are newer and don't have a healthy appreciation of what Marvin did for the organization because they weren't fans in the 90s... no coach is perfect but people feel like he wasn't a big game coach they drafted well and got great value out of players even troubled players... but that was a knock... it's funny how the image of the organization has changed but we soon forget what got us here and what changed to have this happen... if Marvin had a burrow like a Carson he'd be playing for sb as well... this coach couldnt win with Andy dalton and we landed Joe Burrow and the fked around and got him hurt his 1st year with a sorry ass line... and the original oline racist ass coach that got fired and the browns brought back pollack... u didn't see a repeat in that bs 😒
This guy LoL, that Taylor HAS to win in Cleveland is a joke, I want them to win also but it's not a must win unless they drop games they absolutely shouldn't. Thank the Lord above one of these guys is actually judging the games as objectively as he can, this guy is just way too much of a homer, I love the Bengals however I'm trying to be realistic about the outlook of the season and not just losing it in my fandom, the Chargers are going to be different and much more physical in a game at their place I think we win but it's close not some 20 point blowout, and the Steelers will play us tough as they always do to pretend that they are some minor league ball club it sounds like my man has had a few drinks before they fired up the podcast.
