I'm 100% with you on the Sleestak toys. I wish Super 7 would acquire the rights to Land of the Lost. A Super 7 Ultimate Sleestak and Enik figure would be great. Seems like you could license several toys from Land of the Lost including Pylon play sets, and other Sid & Marty Kroft properties like HR Puffnstuff, Sigmund the Sea Monster, Lidsville, and the Bugaloos could provide some cool toys too.
It's the 1976 King Kong (not 1977. There was some space movie that year) which I saw King Kong in theaters. Yes, it's lop sided but has its moments. It feels different now, seeing the World Trade Center in it. Thanks for showing the cool crazy figs!!
I’ll start by saying Kong 76 was the first King Kong film I ever watched, and I didn’t see the original until the 90s, so this guy has a spot in my heart next to the first one. I’d love to see a Mego line of classic kaiju in the 8 and 14 inch sizes, AND classic cryptids as well like Bigfoot, Mothman, Yeti, and their cousins like Skunk Ape or The Houston Batman. Kaiju and cryptids do it for me like the classic monsters do for you. I really need to get my butt in gear to get those smokin’ hot Lincoln Monsters…. Been busy with other projects (you know how it goes!) I really want Land of the Lost Megos too. I’m super lucky that here in Portland, there’s one of cool people who dress up as characters who is Portland Sleestak… goes around town to events and people take pix with him… he even has tee shirts… on Facebook, he shares photoshopped pix of Sleestak with all sorts of classic tv film and so on characters. The joy of these isn’t that they are well-done photoshopped images, they feel like 70s joy cut-and-paste Mego knockoffs. He’s on Facebook, Instagram, TH-cam… and he stars in Sleestak’s Big Adventure (yeah think PeeWee Herman…) Anyway … you made another great video!
I have a simliar relationship with 70's Kong, Only seen the movie maybe twice, but can vividly remember those ads in comic books. Sleezaks!! Cool, but where are my Lidsville action figures? I love how that lincoln's Frankenstein looks more slightly peeved, than evil or angry.
Cosmic ! Noticed the price tag - Frank Beech in Holywell ! Memory’s came flooding back of being allowed a toy after many reluctant haircuts in Lens the Barbers .
Those are pretty cool those are good for back then for people that didn't have a lot of money they could get their kid a toy or their kids could just go in there and grab them with the little money that they could get so those are cool I remember going to a store called Sievers when I was little by my house and there was a rack sections with . The toxic Balloons you would make with a straw I remember my dad doing it at home with me the hole kitchen Wreaked from it and my dad got all Dizzy from doing it and had to sit down . Windows flue open because there was no warning on the tube or package killer memories. Thanks 😅 . Super elastic bubble plastic the memories
Curse my living in another country! I must wait for my Lincoln Monsters! On that topic: your new Midnight Monster, y'know, the Milion Dollar Man as Dracula? Would make a great addition to the Lincoln Monsters line. just sayin'
I am subscribed. I love your videos for the memorabilia, for the memories, the toys and you are such an upbeat and positive person and video maker. So much is a downer. I just turned 54. I was a 70's and 80's kid. Love the videos. All the best and good luck! How do I get one of your monster collections at the end of the video? I vividly remember seeing the 70's Kong. My uncle was visiting from NY. We were in CA. I cried for poor Kong like I did every Thanksgiving when the original was broadcast.
Hey where did that transition Frankenstein monster head graphic come from? It’s so cool! It looks like classic monster craze knockoff stuff, which I love!
I just watched that movie recently I forgot how sad it was 1970 King Kong was a very great movie though for me I like it just as much as the original or the Peter Jackson won
If sleestaks had had an Adventure People size figure it would've been one of the best army builders; I betevery shelf in town and within driving distance (by parents) would've been cleaned out. Shame not even a ripoff (that I ever saw) ever popped up at the time
If you ever feel generous, and would like to hook somebody up, I would love some type of monster, ActionFigure. I’m poor at the moment in life. I sold most of the my collection.

That Kong merch was iconic

This is a “monster” of a video. Thank you! 🦖
We have a lot in common I’ve been obsessed by the King Kong 1976 mainly for the poster art and collectables it spawned

OK, the Groovy Ghoul Frankenstein is great, perfect, needing an official release, etc..

I've wanted a Sleestak for five decades, now. Is it finally happening?

GREAT INFORMATION 👍
Those final monsters look like they are trying to make it back to Coney island unscathed.

What's with the "Frankensten" on the Lincoln box? Licensing workaround?
No it was a mistake
