    Because i bought it around $99 at Carousell reseller. At that price this device is unbeatable, not considering second hand flagships.
    Excellent HRR screen, Samsung's OLED display at that too, G99 Ultra being way more efficient and stable than regular G99, decent-ish cameras (GCam mod AGC saved this camera by a long shot), and 67w fast charging. What more could i ask for?
    Btw this is my backup phone. Z flip 3 5G being my main all around device.
    Also also, can you review Redmi Buds 5? (not Pro)

    I got myself one recently. After using my Huawei p20 for almost 7 years. I am actually shocked ,like, how can this phone cost only 200 eur!? Camera pretty much just does the job. All the other stuff is on point! I do play pubg once in a while,and watch a lot of tv shows on my phone,it has been great!

    This year is insane for phone upgrades, I got Red Magic 9 Pro (great hw, bad sf) coming from Mi 10T Pro which is still like day 1 in every aspect. In october SD 8 gen4 is coming and by all accounts it's a step up. But this year already, midrange is just bonkers for price / performance ratio!

    • @namedkenn

      Thanks for sharing but yes I feel the same! Not in terms of chip (still mostly around the performance of Helio G99) but in other aspects? It’s just crazy

    To anyone who's planning to get this phone, be VERY certain that you're NOT sensitive to PWM. Even though poco is advertising a 1920 Hz PWM flicker rate, there is also an additional separate flicker of 119hz according to notebookcheck and they assume this to be due to black frame insertion as a means of reducing both motion blur and the risk of burn in.

    Because of the ads built in the system

    • @namedkenn
      @namedkenn  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +58

      To be completely honest, I don't know if the ads system is a thing because I've been using POCO (and Xiaomi by extension) for years at this point and I've never been bothered by a single ads when using it, nothing suddenly popped up or things like that, but maybe like I showed in the video some notifications from GetApps, Themes, but just turn them off and we good

    Key Kenneth, what would you pick. Soundpeats engine 4 currently for $27or minipro hs for $28. I saw your review of engine 4 as best earbuds under 60 and here i can get it for $27 but you didn't mention aboyt hs pro mini

    • @namedkenn
      @namedkenn  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To be completely honest with you I've never got the chance to try out the Mini Pro HS so I couldn't say how it is, but what I can say from experience is earbuds with ANC is almost always inferior in sound quality to those without (since they have to spend some money on it you know)
      So if you need ANC go for Mini Pro HS, and if you want the best SQ then go for Engine4

      @@Hnz_000 HyperOS is basically an Improve version of MIUI.
      My Poco X5 Pro Got smoother and optimized when I updated to HyperOS. Like when I turn on the phone and use it right away, MIUI lags my Poco a bit. With HyperOS it has less lag.
      Overall it's basically the same except HyperOS is expected to be smoother as updates goes by. Effectively making it the new MIUI at least that's what I understood.

Everything nice until i saw which processor does it uses and it was an instant regret. With a Helio like that you won't take advantage of those 120hz by ANY chance at all... @@levilevi4730 loving every minute using it. There are some downside/flaws but not that significant. Overall can ignore the cons because of its price point, so worth every $ spent.
      So here are the honest downsides I experienced/comments that can be improved:
      1. During video calls, performance can strike down a bit, u will feel micro stutters and a bit of lag, but only during video call when the video reception is ongoing. Once you turned off the camera and video even if the call still ongoing, its fine. I just dont know if its really like that or my "battery saver" was turned on.
      2. The 120hz and 60hz screen option is tied with power saving options, everytime i turned on power saving, it also switches to 60hz then i have to turned it back to 120hz again in display settings.
      PROS:
      there are so much I good side about this phone so quite hard to list everything, from camera to display and snappy and smooth UI, screem quality, build quality, normal processes performance video playback sound face and fingerprint scanner signal battery life rapid charging etc all superb! 👌
      Overall best 200$ on a phpne. Ive used samsung and iPhone and all other brands since S7 and iPhone 6, I don't think I'll ever need to buy a thousand $ phone again ever. 😁
