@@NorwegianXplorer I don't see the message I sent you from my other account, The name of that video is: The most insane snow in thunderstorm / 6 nights survival in antarctic wild snow storm.
I’m so glad you are cautious when it comes to these hurricanes. Awesome, beautiful video. I always say thank you because I know I couldn’t do what you do, I would be terrified with these strong storms and winds 😊
I loved the wind blowing the trees and the white waves, so beautiful. You are truly an adventurer. I'm so glad the van keeps you safe and warm. It snowed today here in the Puget Sound, but melted in an hour. Northern lights, magical and the Artic sun, fleeting. Thank you for sharing your Artic adventure in that frigid blizzard. Take care!
And as for the polar vortex, around the time you were dealing with this crazy weather, we were having our own bit of polar vortex here in Wisconsin. One morning, I woke up to -16F but with windchill it felt like -32F. School was canceled for two days because it wasn’t safe for kids to be outside waiting for the school bus to pick them up.
Jarl, this episode was, without a doubt, one of the best you have put out for us . The footage was absolutely awesome. The scenery and the drone footage looked so tranquil and peaceful. Safe travels
Ive lived in snow country most of my 83 years, and i never became comfortable driving in the stuff. Thats probably part of the reason that i enjoy watching you be brave. Be careful out there.
Oh Jarl, you were right! It's so harsh! Storm Eowyn brought us rain (of course) and then thick fog for days. What's that white little thing on the back of your sweater at the beginning of the video. At first we thought it was a piece of toilet paper or did you wear it inside out (the sweater) 😅 lol! We got intrigued by it, lol. But seriously: respect for enduring this type of weather. Safety first, you made the right decisions. And good food for comfort. Where are your nice slippers? You'll definitely get hot feet in those comfy slippers.. Stay safe Jarl.
I truly love your videos as I get to see arts of the world I wish I could see but never will. I also love watching you cook in a van making delicious looking meals.
Loved this video as usual. Nothing i like more than cuddling up in my warm bed watching your blizzards. I'm in England and we've just had storm Eowyn last week, I think it headed over towards Norway after it left us, so hope you stayed safe if it did. I'm looking forward to your next video. Wish you'd do a few updates every week 😃 take care Jarl.
Thank you, that was the reply I was waiting for, it usually stays around that area, right now it is 33% with me parked by the ocean and 99% outside. I never cook without opening a sunroof
The bison is a large but not giant creature , but it's awesome . Have a great time out there , stay safe !! 👍 You make this look so easy , I cannot imagine doing what you're doing , let alone filming and explaining ..
Oh my goodness Mr Jarl the traveling scenery is, Spectacular..the Wind looked pretty mad. I thought you may have been heading into a few whiteout’s on your way You are the bravest man, It’s a special treat to see you smile when the storm is coming .. I would love to visit Finland or Sweden even live there, I’m used to cold, wind and snow in Canada 🇬🇧🇨🇦❤ Eat plenty, stay warm and cosy that Van is a life saver 💕
What a great video but have a questions. Can’t understand that when you leave your headlights for a long time that your van batteries don’t go flat? You drive to those blizzards when people like me would be running a mile the other way-lol. Also when you were driving and said Finland was on the other side of the river and Russia not far away which coming from Central Australia (our average day temps are well over 40 Celsius for a few weeks so far and night about 26-30 Celsius) it’s hard to fathom that other countries are so close. Hope you are feeling better. Thanks again.
Absolutely love your Wintery Adventures 🥶. They are relaxing as well as interesting. My Dad used to love anything like this and he was a HGV long distance wagon driver!! Take care on the roads. Stay safe. From Liverpool 🇬🇧 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Here in Iowa USA, we get severe blizzards and cold down to -30 F or worse. I love it when this happens and I'm cozy inside looking out at it. At 1:05:05 I thought at first it was a motorcycle pulling in and thought, "Are they insane?"
