    Big 5 Personality Traits
    (Source: www.psychology...)
    Psychological researchers often define personality in terms of five core traits, which can be thought of as stable dispositions that drive behavior. The five-factor model of personality encompasses these basic traits:
    - openness to experience
    - conscientiousness
    - extraversion-introversion
    - agreeableness
    - neuroticism
    The traits, often referred to as the "Big 5," are summed up by the acronyms OCEAN or CANOE. Every individual manifests each of the five broad dimensions of personality to one degree or another, and the infinite variety of ways individuals differ in how the traits are expressed is what makes the study of personality endlessly fascinating. Using questionnaire-based testing, psychologists measure the degree to which each of the traits is individually manifest.
    The five-factor model is used to help understand and predict relationships between personality traits and success in social, academic, and professional circumstances. The model has been criticized for its limitations with respect to the number of personality traits evaluated and for the fact that it is a data-driven model and not based on a psychological theory. Proponents of the five-factor model argue that it delivers consistent results and that such a description of personality must come before, not after, a theory of personality.

Find another that does the same, and you'll be helping yourselves as well as each other and you'll develop a proclivity for moral guidance and harmonius balance in order and chaos, safety and strength, and emphasis and compassion for the individual as well as for the wider community. Psychonaut that’s like saying if Einstein was on Benzos for a couple months then all of his work is meaningless. You need more than that to hurt a mans reputation. You’re just a hater and the fact that you are even watching a Jordan Peterson video confuses me

    • @VinnyTheory
      @VinnyTheory 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Psychonaut I’m not going to fight with you, I just feel bad for you that you consider yourself to be intellectual when you haven’t heard anything Jordan has ever said or know anything about him. By default all of your judgements are invalid. Once again, it is like never knowing any of Einstein’s work and attempting to spread word to people that do know his work that he is an idiot, which is laughable. I didnt compare the two because of their fields, I compared the two because they have the same level of genius. You would know this if you were 2 hours into one of Jordan’s lectures, but all you do is read headlines.
      I have nothing to prove to you, and the fact that you continue to try to take down Jordan’s reputation with the mere fact that he’s on prescribed drugs is hilarious haha. You’re such a snowflake liberal if you care about that. Have you ever seen the show House? He’s also a genius addicted to Vicodin and no one cares, all the viewers are absolutely in love with him. Why? Because he’s once again a genius and an amazing person. Drugs don’t reflect character, especially prescribed legal drugs.
      Einstein was a great scientist but was also well known for his knowledge of philosophy. Jordan’s an even greater philosopher, and both are genius’s. Although I’m wasting my time arguing with you, considering your opinion on Jordan is one that uneducated and unjustified, I’m not surprised because Jordan is the only person I will always stand for regardless. And honestly, I’m not even going to continue this discussion. If you want to hate or judge a person you know nothing about then fine, be an idiot, and if you want to actually provide a fair analysis then go watch Jordan’s actual lectures. Goodbye

They will endure for a time their different traits, then learn how to understand it, so they could move forward. But if one, even if one only won't make the efforts to match with the other, then it's best to leave the relationship.

    I think about conflicting personality traits a lot. The way I see it, if you both find it difficult and nerve grating to be around each other, it’s not that either one is wrong, it’s just the wrong fit. It shouldn’t feel like work and a lot of tongue biting just to be around each other. Same goes for personalities too similar to yours. It’s hard to respect or grow w a person w the same flaws as you.

      I write to avoid interpersonal interactions with others and to practice my English written vocabulary. But I do not talk to others. Why talk when I can write to anonymous people thousands of kilometers away? If we do not like each other, it is not a problem. All you know is my name and we never write each other again. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we can never like each other because we do not know each other. We correspond for a spell then never write each other again. It is great, random communication without consequences!

      Maybe twice is not enough.. try more times that may even improve your administration. Strong will.

    • @RoyceWhiteOfficial
      @RoyceWhiteOfficial 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @A Van Called Rupert-It's called Positive Accountability (the observer you speak of). And it's not only for those with "administrative inability". Those with Conscientious personalities (those with admin ability) are only 25% of the population, and even though they are Task Oriented, they can still accomplish the wrong things. Further, when they start to succeed, they need people oriented skills to lead properly or they will begin to fail. So in reality, we all need someone of our opposite personality to be strong where we are week. Also, your def of "admin incompetence" is needed to make sure we're talking about the same thing. I am doubly Outgoing, with half part Task and half part People orientation. And I need positive accountability to make sure I stay on target and get the "right" work done-activity doesn't equal accomplishment. My bride is 97% opposite of who I am and is strong where I am weak and is a great accountability for me-as I am for her-in personal and business life. Knowing your personality, hire someone who is opposite to be who you cannot or will not be. Lead them well and get to the success you are looking for. Or bring in someone you highly respect who is willing, and let them be your positive accountability. In all cases, a good understanding of personality allows you to know why you do what you do and how to connect with your opposites (and even your similars) so you can build rapport and understanding to get to your definition of success. Press on!
