Dont forget the counter game ratio. If you learn to do a popular lock like the gelatine or rearnaked choke fx. Then all the opponent need to do is to learn how to counter them. This mean anything can be countered through experience and adaptive theorizing in preb-training and online. And just like most MMA fights you looking at repeated attacks and counters until one makes a mistake and reality takes over. They are out-canceling them selfes in terms of effectivity and not being devastating against an equal skilled opponent with have both long preb-time and knowledge of how to counter all your moves. Any attacker can be dump or smart but if our selfdefense tools are easily countered bc of the internet or UFC TV etc. Seems we need something bulletproof that cant countered or perhaps a new way to counter the counters. What do you think?
PowerPunch to add to our other friend. You don’t need to worry about learning counters to fancy moves. Show me a UFC fight with a flawless finish? You can hit a pro fighter dude. It’s so unlikely to not get hit in a fight I would say just add more strikes more often:
the problem is...we focus on UNarmed skills/techniques being the answer and they are not! They are at best a stop gap until a weapon can be accessed. So Mick's a big guy...why would a smaller person think UNarmed fighting is the way to go? Shoot him! Stab him! And again while Mick's a big guy...3 normal sized men would have no trouble stomping him into the ground. So Mick's UNarmed skills would not be the answer...but a weapon sure would be!
