My last unboxing for 2018 on my TH-cam channel. Snagged the last one on Dior.com (US has e-commerce for mens goods now), but wondering if it's worth it due to how little it holds (very slim/narrow). Retails for $1900 USD.

Love how detailed you described what'd fit the space. There aren't a lot of reviews on Dior pouches out there. I'm eyeing the 21/22 oblique pouch. Looks really good but I'd have to downsize my wallet to a card holder, maybe it'd fit multiple passports?!

Congratulations on the bag. I have been feeling small bags lately, but once I have them, I struggle to get all my stuff in them! Then I end up with bulging pockets! LOL! You wear this one very well indeed!
Thanks! This one might be a tad too small though, so I'll have to see later this month with the actual Saddle Bag
I got the larger version. I think it's a lot more useful in terms of stuff I can put inside the pouch (vs your smaller one). I also like the fact that I don't really have to zip up the pouch as the magnetic closure ensures things don't fall out. Great video btw. Your videos are always helpful.

Please review the dior mens saddle bag, actually the saddle bag was my first option but its to expensive so i tried to consider this saddle pouch, only to find out its more of a fashion statement than a carry your stuffs bag, I’ll just go and buy the Lv avenue sling bag in infini leather. But please do review the saddle bag 🙏🏻 before i buy the avenue

It looks good but I'm glad I didn't pre order it . Too overpriced for the the small pouch .n LVHM likes to play hype designer crossover now n upscale the price . The mens oblique items fabric material re so cheap .women's quality is way way better .
It is quite pricey for such a small bag. I think it's because it's made out of synthetic fabric, but the roller bag didn't really impress me and they had a lot of stock remaining

Surely the little straps that are not sewn down on the back ( 5.49) of the pouch are so you can thread the strap through them to wear it as a waist / fanny pack? But a really help review.
That's right, you can remove the strap to be used as a belt bag through the straps in the back; didn't realize it until after the video was made

It's an Armani suit from a while ago, don't remember which season.
I like the saddle shape of the bag, 👍🏼, however it looks really small to carry anything and be useful to take it out and about, but i suppose its more about the fashion statement than utility. But a nice bag indeed.👍🏼👌🏼

I think maybe the holes in the leather pieces in the back are for you to put a belt through them and use it as a bumbag.

I think you can actually loop something through it upon closer review (I don't have this saddle pouch anymore)

It looks as if the straps on the back could be intended for a belt to pass through. If you remove the shoulder strap, then you would wear it on your waist.

I like the look of it, but it is too pricey for what it is. It is a larger bag with very limited with what it can hold.

Does anyone know how secure the bag is. I’m mostly gonna use it as a clutch but was worried that things might fall out of it pretty easily. They got anew one with a clasp for about 1750 on the site but its not at the Chicago store and its a bit smaller but wider.

Do you have trouble with your zippers? Mine isn’t as smooth , and the zip clogs sometime , does your bag have same problem ?
I don’t have this anymore, but I do remember it being stiff; you can try a little wax on it
SartorialPhil being stiff as in it’s hard to pull zipper back after unzipping it? It kinda get stunk when I try to zip it back .
That very nice review from you, but it is too small for daily life. Nowadays we need two mobile phone, battery charger, make up thing, and wallet etc. so it look nice but not functional design. Would be nice if he can expand the size of bag
Yeah it's too small to really use as a day bag.
I love this design, but.... it's kind of just a show piece than a functional piece, which is fine. But I do wish the price would reflect that.

😜 bad user experience. But I think I opened an old Christian Dior box years ago that used the same paper, but it was white and it had similar issues. I'm surprised they didn't follow suit with LV and used either drawers or the magnetic flaps

Depends how much you’d want to store; the regular saddle is quite large. Would be best if you can try both models on first
