  • I bought this kit from Jason Hausler at Triad INEOS Grenadier. Jason has a few more kits available. Reach out to Jason at (336) 338-7774.
Key take away is that the two trim pieces you put on the rail have an upper and lower. If the fit looks off, you may have them in the wrong spot. I learned this the hard way...Haha.

@bens3641 Our dealer sells the package for $406. Agile has one coming out for under $200. I have a few on order for the shop.

Thanks for this. I'm in Australia and going to do the same on the right hand side. I built my own side steps and it is getting into the vehicle where it really counts. Yes, there is the steering wheel but it is actually in the wrong place to help get in. Cheers Pete

Agreed Pete. Once you lift it like I have its more a challenge to get in. Still waiting on steps to arrive to put on. Good deal on making your own!

Just a thought that whilst removing trim panels with airbags it might be good practice to disconnect the battery or batteries and Smartpass earth.

You can always do that. My risk assessment was gauging this effort as low risk since not touching those. Others could perceive that as dangerous. Never a bad idea to disconnect batteries if you want to.

How does this not interfere with the airbag deployment. I think that plastic cover is supposed to pop off easily but now it looks bolted down

@KevinJacks both sides have the exact same airbag in each A pillar, so it would be the same as the passenger side. Take them off and take a look for yourself. It's your rig so you can modify as you deem. I looked at both sides and that is what I deemed acceptable to me. Everyone has their own level of risk.

You bet. It was super easy install. Subscribe for some harder ones and exclusive part offerings like our Kooks Exhaust.

This is great! Thanks for the info. Wonder why it didn't come like that from the factory.

Because the driver has both hands on the steering wheel while driving so doesn't need the hand hold to steady themselves like the passenger does. Most vehicles don't have a hand hold on the driver side.

Given the outside conditions you are likely to be out in, I would think it's a necessity for egress and ingress. With mine lifted it really is.

@@pdxyyz4327 The new Bronco does and my F-250. Anything that is used in a 4wd environment should. I think it is more for getting in and out than while driving.

I was told by a dealer that the a handle on the drivers side wouldn't pass the crash test for the UK/European Market which I couldn't understand at first however after seeing the airbag I would guess its because the handle would bee thrown at you or your passenger in the event of an accident not sure if applies in other countries as the UK also can't have the bull/kangaroo bars which are available in the US and Australia which look amazing

    Will it block the airbag?

The airbag is the same on either side when you take them off so my guess is it operates the same way either side. An update since making this video, Agile Offroad is making them from Aluminum for under $200. We have several on order as they are not out yet. Let me know if you would like to see if. Email me at david@design-build-go.com. I have preproduction photos.
