No you don’t need a degree you can go through a medical assistant progam. Some can be 4 months to almost a year. I just finished I went for 7 ish months it depends on how fast you are and how fast your program is. My program offered Medical Assistant, Medical Admin assistant (med receptionist) and phlebotomy. If you choose to be a medical assistant which i recommend you can do a lot of things especially the receptionist part. Idk how it is if you choose the admin part though.
