He's too much! I can't believe that I learned of his existence less than four months ago. He's absolutely brilliant and his talents transcend just doing impressions. I feel privileged to live in the time of Jon Culshaw.
@@adamglasgow9268 I always thought Frank Gorshin was a great impressionist. His facial expressions of Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas were very good without him uttering a word. He played the part of the 'Riddler' in the 1960s Batman TV series.
@ 5:08 - Patrick Moore was lovely man - I still miss him on The Sky At Night. Jon's impression of Patrick was spot on. It always makes me smile when Jon guests occasionally on The Sky At Night and does it on there.
The interview with Sir Patrick had me in fits of laughter. Thought provoking about the story where Culshaw phoned no. 10 pretending to be William Hague, not expecting to get through, but then surprisingly got through. Kind of mirrors the prank call the Australian radio presenters made to the hospital, pretending to be the royal family, also not expecting to get through, but got through. Both prank calls were meant as harmless jokes. One resulted in hilarity, the other tragedy.
this guy is a legend ive never laughed so much his impressions are spot on when i heared frank bruno and lennox lewis and chris eubank i was week with laughter allways a real pleasure to watch this incredible talent of jon culshaw.
I used to prank call investment firms on 0800 numbers back in the early 90s doing my impression of Billy Connelly,, 😂😂😂 I'm glad I wasn't the only one ❤️👍
Man...Culshaw is on a whole different level to other impressionists. His Steve Urwin and John Peel are spooky accurate. His range is totally unbelievable. Easily easily the best impressionist. Lennox Lewis...who else does Lennox Lewis!!
Excellent, and I love it that Jon Culshaw recognises the great Mike Yarwood as his inspiration. Of cause Mike could sing in character as well, not sure I've ever seen Jon do that.
I'm really surprised Jon Culshaw didn't do his famous Eamonn Holmes impression during the interview, since he was actually sitting next to the man himself. Culshaw does a brilliant take-off of him.
Eamon Holmes sued jon Culshaw after Holmes saw a sketch tgst Culshaw did about eating, the Holmes line in the sketch is am hungry so i am. And Holmes consulted his lawyers
I'm surprised this video hasn't been removed by TH-cam because it contains a Rolf reference. Loads of Savile related videos have been removed, particularly the Louis Theroux interview documentary. Ridiculous really because people need to see how he duped an entire nation and learn from that rather than it being swept under the carpet out of fear.
John Culshaw , He's brilliant, His parents must be so proud of his achievements, I loved Mike Yarwood , But this guy is the new kid on the universal block.
@ifyouwantbochin Mmm, I think I may have made a mistake in the description tbh. I can't be sure, but this may indeed be his first Parkinson interview so I'll update the info :-]
Mark Perryman not at all, the description said this interview was from the early 2000s, and his crimes didn’t come out until the early 2010s.... he even did a portrait for the Queen in 2005/2006ish... so at the time this was recorded none of the public were any the wiser. If I remember right, it was also well before any of the Savile allegations, which is what largely kicked off the investigations into Harris and others.
I seemed to remember something like that happening and I thought it was just me , but when John first came on at the beginning of this clip Eamon made some barbed comment and now that makes sense !
Just heard of this guy now. Too often I am disappointed by impressionists but this guy is extremely talented and has all the nuances down.
No other impressionist can touch him for utter brilliance.
He's too much! I can't believe that I learned of his existence less than four months ago. He's absolutely brilliant and his talents transcend just doing impressions. I feel privileged to live in the time of Jon Culshaw.
Parkinson really was the king of chat shows. Such a classy man and amazing with his guests.
None better!
When Jon Culshaw talks it feels like he's doing an impression of Jon Culshaw
He s so talented and so modest with it.The best at what he does
The word genius is overused sometimes, but Culshaw is a 100% genuine genius. His speed of thought is frightening
The word is indeed overused by people like you
I would tell you to youtube frank caliendo but you might have a cardiac arrest
@@adamglasgow9268 Just did, not quite as good, still brilliant

Sitting him next to Eamonn Holmes 🤣
'claims direct' send-up sketch at the beginning was FCUKING HILARIOUS!
The Ian Hislop impression at 2:50 was freaking terrifying. It came out of nowhere and was spot on!
I can't be the only one who was hoping he would do an impression of Parkinson, like he did on dead ringers
as often as I've watched this the two Patrick Moore's bickering make me cry laughing EVERY time 🤣🤣🤣🤣💕✌
Eamonn laughing it up until Culshaw did him and he found it so funny he got the lawyers in
Oh man i love John Culshaw!

Jon's impression of Patrick was spot on. It always makes me smile when Jon guests occasionally on The Sky At Night and does it on there.
The Patrick Moore impression was awesome 😂
This is pure genius comedy. Love Frank Bruno. Frank Bruno is great in real life. Keep strong Frank every body loves you.
His Frank Bruno is incredible tbf
Brilliant interview (well it's Parki' so of course) and brilliant Culshaw - what a truly fabulous and spontaneous entertainer !
Absolutely brilliant.
I think Jon is a brilliant vocal impressionist and also a body linguistic genius.
culshaw is brilliant, a great inspiration for me
His Frank Bruno is second to none, brilliant.
YEAH SUPER
Overrated.
His only good impression is Frank brunos laugh.
@@TheJamie6666 Balls.

Mr. Culshaw always puts a smile on my face.
Him and Patrick moore arguing oh my god I almost cried! ahahaha
No other word ........ brilliant.

The Chris Eubank impression was brilliant.
Sir Patrick Moore was such a good sport!
Great fun and Jon Culshaw seems to be enjoying himself as much as everyone else!
Wow these are spot on. The Ian Hislop is brilliant
There are not enough superlatives to describe how talented Jon Culshaw is.
...the well inserted (fnarr, fnarr!) Frank Bruno impression was a gem!

What a nice bloke, very talented empresionist,
Simply the best
Patrick Moore was genius
No idea how he does this. What a talented guy...
Parky really loves his interviews love to read his biography
8:10 that emphatic hand gesture was on point !🤛🏼
He is the master of impersonation.

I'm really surprised Jon Culshaw didn't do his famous Eamonn Holmes impression during the interview, since he was actually sitting next to the man himself. Culshaw does a brilliant take-off of him.

Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!
Jon is a genius
brilliant impressionist does a great tom baker and ossy osborne,
Jon Culshaw it's should be Sir Jon Culshaw he is fantastic I can not stop laughing when he is on television,
He is the best,bar none!
Noice when he did the great Steve Irwin, his whole face suddenly became that very person. Amazing. 😀
When this clip came on, and i heard Michaels voice & i thought i'll make a cup of tea
How refreshing to see tracking lines on this video,, God rest VHS video tapes 👍
Amazing talent
Shear brilliance ! by the great John Culshaw.
Eamons foot movements show his total disdain for Culshaw.
John Culshaw sounds exactly like ...John Culshaw. Every single impression.
Eammon Holmes was apparently going to sue The Impressions Show because it always targeted his weight
Well he's got a point!!!
@@takeiteasy6154It is comedy!
I bet that Rolf Harris impression will be permanently on the back burner from now on...

He's very very good this guy.
My word Ian Hislop is especially bloody amazing !
Brilliant.
Imagine having him at your fucking dinner party..
That must have been one of Patrick Moore's final appearances in a proper TV studio, as his later Sky At Nights were made at his home.
Haha his Obi-wan Kenobi impression is friggin awesome!
dale winton was fuckin spot on haahah

To be fair Aammon had arthritis in both hips that's probably why he kept moving his legs . Had two hip replacements now . I like the bloke .
Yeah that Rolf Harris impression was dropped from the act quick sharp I bet 😂
insane!
That Russell Crowe impersonation sounds just like Alan Johnson from Peep Show.
Patrick Moore is brilliant, so funny
holmes is in love with himself
he always is. Ate himself after loving himself so much and that's why he looks as he does.
Patrick Moore owned him
"I told you he was good" says Parky being classic Parky
eamon holmes nearly sued jon because of the way he was portrayed

Jon Culshaw did his own Fonejacker
Several of those since passed away.
“Another difficult one is Steve Irwin…”
*morphs into Steve Irwin*
Jon said he wasn't going to sue him, but just got his lawyers to get the impression stopped. But Jon could just be being kind.
Patrick Mower played it so well .
Aw video... I feel all nostalgic now :P
