Jon Culshaw plays Ricky Gervais - บันเทิง
That Brian Cox impression is fucking incredible.
terrible you mean
@@Jamesp1972 theres always one.
how dare somebody appreciate something in my presence
@@Jamesp1972 agree, Terry Mynott does a better one .
it really is exact
@@Omegaman1969 just watched Terry mynott... Its not anywhere close to culshaw.
Ricky actively trying not to do the little quirks afterwards and failing is brilliant
leoncrazyman07 He seems very disturbed by it
Was thinking the same. Ricky was like fuck he does me better than me.
Was going to say the same! amazing... Ricky went full David at the end...
And arms folded!
Live events are a way of killing time.
Beautiful impression of Brian Cox, and quite respectful.
What's a PVC?
Polyvinyl chloride, a kind of plastic.
Oh yes, very important for it to be respectful. One should never insult St.Brian.
Brian is the biggest loser/ fraud in science. Sells himself as this important figure when he’s achieved next to nothing 😂
@@Robot-vv1yg shut up you clown
Ricky Gervais' laugh must be the most gratifying thing in the world. When he laughs, there's no doubt that he really is enjoying himself...
@@eightiesmusic1984 what? 🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️
sometimes it does sound fake, a bit like Jimmy Carr
Very James Corden like reactions.
@@eightiesmusic1984wrong
@@JimbobiscuitEh?
To make Ricky laugh is easy. To make him sit back in awe is hard.
He did a great job with the little pauses and hand gestures.
PVC football from woolworths...superb stuff
The Brian Cox one is spot on. Incredible
I like it when Ricky is happy because he has that great, genuine warmth that reminds me that some of the things and people that seem so troublesome can actually be laughed away.
0:55 - Watch Ricky.. that is true happiness x'D!!
***** you are the only person who watches more gervais / office videos than me. you comment on every one of them lol
I know xD A lot of people say stuff like that to me.. just I guess I'm a big fan of Ricky, Steve and Karl :) You can't help but love Ricky Gervais.
***** right you are. DO IT YASELF IVE GOTTA SAVE SOME AFRICANS!
xD Brilliant.
***** I've been on a massive Ricky gervais and Karl pilkington video binge for a week, will it ever stop??
wooooooooooooooow that brian coxx impression
Saw Jon Culshaw live on stage recently and he was truly amazing. Slipping from one person to the next with ease. Real professional
‘Looking in my man drawer’ bit cracks me up & Rickys reaction to it is great. 🤣🤣
McIntyre is shit
Ricky’s laugh has got to be one of the most beautiful things on this planet 😂
the emotion on ricky's face as he anticipates and waits for what John is going to come out with is priceless
Ricky Gervais is just such a brilliant bloke
He’s amazing. Without doubt the best impressionist to ever grace show business. Pure genius.
Watch Peter Serawinowicz. Not many but every one amazing. Especially Terry wogan.
Not even close. Every impression he does sounds like Jon Culshaw
legit some of the best impressions ive ever seen
Love this! All 3 impressions are spot on , want to watch more...
His Brian Cox impression was amazing on the Impression show! I couldn't stop laughing at it
I can never tell when Jon is just being Jon . Brilliant really
2 fantastically talented entertainers + Richard Bacon
Gervais laughing cracks me up every time
I'm watching Prof Cox's documentary series The Universe now and can't stop thinking of this. Brilliant!
You don't see many Jimmy Saville impressions anymore
I'm pretty sure many BBC employees are still doing 'Jimmy Saville impressions '
Why?? What happened
@@grrinc for charity of course
Now then , now then
Try saying Showaddywaddy in any way other than Jimmy Saville said it. Not possible.
I love the progression Gervais' face makes from 1:35 through to 1:48!!
Too good Jon is amazing... Ricky's laugh is infectious makes me laugh every time if hear him
You're right, Ricky could tell a very unfunny joke... laugh himself then set everyone else off lol
Both of them LEGENDS 👍🏻👍🏻
Love Jon ! Watched this at the same time as the impression show lol
The David Brent character is genius because the little nuances allows the viewer to fill in the gaps themselves and confirm what they were already secretly thinking so it sort of amplifies the humour and makes you feel in on the joke.
Oh for f...
Brian Cox impression is unreal. Absolutely incredible.
Love this video, so much admiration for both of these guys. Ricky's laugh and smile are infectious, really hope he does more stand up. Also it's a shame dead ringers is no longer on
Oh, he's doing more stand-up alright, and breaking records all over the shop! His Armageddon tour which goes on until December 2024 is completely sold out.
omg his Brian Cox is amazing!
How am I only seeing this, brilliant
Thanks TH-cam 11 years later I get this on my front page but such a good laugh.
This is incredible. John Culshaw is incredible.
i need more of this. 3 minutes is not enough
He's so good!
Ricky is very polite.
CORRECT
About Culshaw? Yes, he is.
Have you seen the Golden Globes?
Lol he's fuming. "Do your Ricky impression" " OOOOO THAT BRIAN COX IMPRESSION IS GREAT DO THAT INSTEAD"
@@businessbusiness9407 he's trying to make Culshaw play to his strengths. His Brian Cox impression is genuinely good, but his Ricky is just David Brent.
Impressionists are the most under appreciated of all entertainers. Ricky is a genius but he is still blown away by the talent of Jon Culshaw.
well no one calls Ricky a genius actor, his skill lies in writing. Culshaw genius in acting.
His Brian Cox impression is brilliant!!
Ricky folding those arms after the impression lol
When you think about space, it's dead big...
This is the first time I discovered the legend called John Culshaw
When you manage to make Ricky Gervais laugh, and then speechless, you know you have succeeded in life =P xxx
Rickys laugh is amazing!!!
Brilliant!!!!! He captured his essence. Almost see Rockies face on his.
Ricky's reaction is brilliant to see he loves science which makes it even better
worked with him once at a benefit show. he did hilarious George Bush that night. lovely man to have worked with. down to earth, polite and funny as hell.
I met George Bush at a charity gig..Along with Limmy the Scottish comedian...@daftlimmy..They were both surprisingly down to earth and funny.
Benny Harvey R.I.P, gone but not forgotten, miss you big man.
Such an amazing talent
What a fantastically talented and funny guy
John Culshaws impressions are uncanny ! You can clearly see Rick is blown away by him.
Brian Cox: The universe is dead big, there's loads of it.
I think they're two fabulous comedians.
Gervais cracking up, cracks me up
Gervais spoke the truth. A real hero to the American people.
Matt man He’s taking about The Golden Globes.
He had some great jokes as ever, but it's a shame he ruined it with the "DON'T BE OFFENDED! LOL! PEOPLE ARE TOO WOKE THESE DAYS AMIRITE?"
he did a long bit of his Brian Cox impression on The Now Show this week which was excellent, he has the voice nailed down now!
Lived in England for a couple of years and the guy I lived with would do impressions of me all day and I’d be in tears of laughter, good impressionists are amazing, I can’t even do accents never mind an impression..
Jon is still the same person as when we were at college as kids. He's still brilliant!
I love Culshaw.
Rickys subconscious body language is interesting when John does Brent, the glee disappears into a sort of stern admiration and the arms fold, weirdly protective shift in demeanor
Yeh! I think he just suddenly became very self conscious. It's very uncomfortable seeing yourself being portrayed by someone else.
Well to be fair Rafa took it well with Farley.
Just brilliant.
Amazing!!!
Took John Culshaw to Manchester Airport a few years ago for the BBC, by the time he got he'd tried over twenty new impressions out of me, he was hilarious and gave me a £20 tip or as he called my transportation charge.....!!!
I thought when I was watching a previous video, imagine if he did Ricky and there I found one lol. Hilarious.
Nobody can get the brent\gervais impression down but this is by far the best attempt I've seen
No it's actually one of the worst... He's a great impressionist but that one sucked. He says he's doing Gervais but that was An attempt at Brent
th-cam.com/video/iYuCJmb2vzo/w-d-xo.html
Jay Mohr does it best
@@qualitycontenteveryday6288 I hope you're kidding
@@MrRazorblade999 Yeah, that was bad. Embarrassing to watch, in a way it sort of was like Brent, because he thinks he's doing a good job but he's actually awful.
Omg that Brian Cox killed me.
Space being "dead big" gets me everytime. Love it.
00:48 Ricky's face of pure joy at this impression
Great impressions! Talented guy! Like McGowan and Bremner!
David Norman much better
Can he do Eric Hitchmo? What's that Eric? You've given up being a los Angeles detective and want to open a hotel in torquay?
I don't agree with that in he workplace.
He sounds exactly like that!
Do the little wanking claw
Don't mention the war
@@benwilson4546 Or the wanking claw!! Now Polly she was a great waitress in Fawlty towers. I would bloody love to get to grips with her melon's. GET OUT! GO ON!! GET OUT!! I'm not having her melon's bandied about in here!!
top notch impressions
He seems such a nice guy and this comes out in his impressions.
He used to drink at a pub I frequented and can confirm he’s just a lovely bloke.
Man, that Brian Cox impression is bang on.
Excellent
The Brian Cox one had.. HAS me in stitches...
Space.. Its so... Big... There's Loads of it! Its just painfully funny.
And the Brent stuff is not near perfect,.. Its absolutely SPOT ON!
ricky was 50 now he's 63 how time flys!
amazing
It’s really good
"Space...it's like dead big."
🤣
Legend.
Jon sounds weirder when he's being himself than when he's doing impressions. Remarkable talent though. Would've loved to see him just do a straight impression of Ricky.
LOL very true when he first spoke in his own voice I thought he'd started a really bad impression of someone!
I'd love to see his Karl Pilkington impression!
His impressions were awesome! People saying his Brent needs work - not much! Go watch the office again because it was spot on!
Marvellous stuff 😂
After hosting golden globes, we can all impersonate Ricky by saying "i don't care"
that was great, real likeness :)
1:20 that bit about space cracks me up everytime!
Spot on
Definitely more Brent than Gervais that impression.
Well he did say it was Brent.
No shit.
@Nick Maclachlan The scrotum?
They are same thing. Brent is Ricky playing himself
@@JayEmCee2011 not really though.
Ricky went all quiet and insular as soon as he did an impression of him lol. That's a rare moment.
Brilliant
I’m not even the slighest bit familiar with Brian Cox, and yet I was laughing because that impression was just good comedy.
That's how good Culshaw is..Even future audiences know who he's doing impressions of...A master.
HERE YA GO...Brian Cox:
th-cam.com/video/h-S-Hxsqf48/w-d-xo.html
Interesting how Ricky's body language changed when he was being impersonated.
I feel like I haven't seen Jon Culshaw in decades
Class
Wow, I didn't expect his impression to be so well done. Without going full Ricky, he gave us enough to know he probably could lol.
Jon Culshaw is the Box Deluxe! X
Jon Culshaw just sounds like Jon Culshaw doing an impersonation of Jon Culshaw.
Hard to believe he made a career out of it!
Exactly true. The Brent/Gervais impression was embarrassing
Absolutely spot on mate!
"...Space is like..DEAD BIG..!!!." yes.
