Oh yeah it's quite big, and this video only shows a tiny fraction of the metro area. There are several other high-rise districts too; North Central, Central LBJ, Addison, Frisco, and Los Colinas. I live here and drive all over the city for work every day. Where are you from?
Cleburne to Dallas in just under 17 minutes. That would normally take close to two hours (with our traffic here). Love that they got assigned to their final approach altitude way early. Made it easy to spot lots of landmarks. Great video! Thanks!
I'm flying the PMDG "Study-Level" B737- 700/800 mainly these days. Training on the Airbus is nothing like a Boeing, I love hands-on switches and dials. I miss Texas so much; all of my childhood friends live there and I have not been back since 2005.
Another great video, thank you for posting the videos of Dallas! I'm from Dallas so I really enjoyed this. You flew right by our offices just south of downtown!
For those that don't know, that's haze, not smog. It's usually a combination of pollen, dust and humidity. Smog id darker.. because we do get some on really hot and still summer days.
First & only comment!!🥳🎉🎊🥳🍾 Very nice video Christine.👍 I definitely might be checking out more of your videos.🙂🤠 And I hope I'm not too forward when saying this but it was a beautiful landing indeed, but after seeing your thumbnail of your profile pic, the landing wasn't as beautiful as you are!😊🥴
Aww thank you! I usually travel to Dallas and Denver so you’ll see me with lots of videos from there, but I will also be going to different cities as well and record 😊
@@chrissysviews Wow, I totally forgot that I wrote this comment and had no idea that you answered back! First off you're welcome and thank you for not taking the first part the wrong way.🙂😊 Second, so you have any plans on flying to New York(where I live) one day and doing a video of that trip? And third, what camera do you use for your videos??
There are three other metropolitan areas close to our size in Texas.. Houston, Austin and San Antonio. That's just the DFW Metroplex.. it's 600 miles to Starbase and almost 1200 to El Paso from here.
Notice how much the north has grown compared to the south? People keep building further and further north when it's not close to that far to the fields to the south.
Drank many a beers in the Trinity River bottoms... lots of stolen newspaper machines everywhere and stolen cars in the river back in the 80s...good times.
Beautiful city! Can't believe Dallas downtown area is that huge!!! Wow!!!!
