My very first jet airplane ride was from Seattle to San Antonio via a connecting stop at Love Field on a Braniff Airlines 720B for USAF Basic Training. June 1970. Thanks for posting your excellent video!

Wow, what a GREAT video! I've never seen that particular flight path taken, basically all the way around the city of Dallas. That was really great to see! Early in the video when you were coming in along the south side over DeSoto, I saw the street where I live, so cool! You could see downtown, uptown, north central, Central LBJ, and Addison. Loved it!

This was a really long approach. Even in my many landings to dfw, approaches were never this long.

@@Pnw_Railfan_Aviation that would be a great trip, especially going northbound from LA because if you sit on the right side of the plane, you will clearly see Mount Rainier and that would be a great site as well! Coming in from the east the plane pretty much flew near Mount Rainier, and it was phenomenal!! I even got to see Mount Adams and Mount Saint Helens in the background. On that video of Seattle that I did, you can clearly see all three of the mountains. It was amazing.!

Kind of a hazy day without a cloud in the sky and that’s why it was hard to see downtown Dallas but otherwise you got really good views of the approach to love Field.👍

Yes that’s why I had to focus in a little bit! And thanks ☺️

@@chrissysviews Although it's a bit hazy, this is one of the very best videos, because of the flight pattern flown from Ft. Worth, all the way around the southern end of Dallas, then up the east side, and back around to land. You can see up central expressway, you can see Addision, LBJ, all that stuff, so cool! I just had lunch today at the taco bueno on Central expressway, just to the south of the two gold skyscrapers at N.W. Hwy. Lol

This really is a gigantic metro with multiple high-rise districts besides just downtown. I've lived here all my life and it's pretty awesome. Video only shows a small part of the whole city area.
