i’m 19 yrs old and have lived in vegas most of my life. the nevada education system is something anyone moving here should consider if they’re a student themselves or have kids like taika. teachers are always on some kind of strike, supply to student ratio was a persistent problem, fights happening on an almost daily basis (this is probably a given in public schools), and the drop out rate in UNLV is much higher than the graduation rate. we’re so low in the education rank for a reason 😭
You are right, there is a reason to it. Nevada has ranked last for several years in a row now: www.fox5vegas.com/news/nevada-schools-bump-up-from-last-in-state-by-state-ranking/article_765f212c-d31e-11e9-81ab-3b0df02a239e.html they celebrate moving up a spot from 50 to 49.
I moved from Washington to Vegas my freshman year and I felt the drastic difference of quality in the education system for sureeee. Clark County's public education system lacked a lot of substance and strength that students need to push them through.
I wouldn't agree too much on this. I too lived in vegas for the majority of my life and I'm 25 now. Fights happen in any school in any state, and I even went to SWCTA(magnet school) and we had fights before. I've rarely heard of any strikes in most of the schools in vegas while attending, except for maybe 1 during my elementary years. The drop rate is much higher for UNLV because you know most of the graduating classes are mostly international. And if I recall correctly, when I was graduating high school, they told us international students didn't count towards the graduation rate which is also why it's low. A big factor is still students not knowing what they want to pursue in life. So why keep wasting money on an education that you're unsure of. College isn't for everyone, go at your own pace. There's good and bad in vegas, and to be honest. You probably might've not passed high school either, since after my class they stopped administering the proficiency tests because too many students all across the county couldn't do basic core exams. They've basically dumbed it down even more so more students can pass. Logically speaking, if this couple is looking for a more affordable living vegas is more ideal than cali. But everyone needs to experience a new place themselves.
DO IT! We moved from Cali to Vegas last year and LOVE IT! And we're paying 1/3 the cost of housing here. And we're thriving as TH-camrs too. You can totally make it work! Welcome your fam with open arms!
Knowing where Bart came from and seeing him look at these amazing homes with his family is so inspirational and I am so happy for them. Who cares if they've moved a bunch of times? At the end of the day, they're happy and thriving! Good on them :)
I moved from Cali to Vegas about almost 2 years ago and I have kids and the worse thing and I hope I knew this before I moved here was that the schools here are so bad. I tell you this cuz of taika. But would love to have you here!!
and also CRIMES are the WORST in Las Vegas, Gun shoot out happen in Apartments and house complexes too often, Car Accidents happen frequently on the regular road and freeway, People will Ding or Dent your car with no care, Roaches problems on the apartments or house because the desert area, no wonder people only stay in Las Vegas less than 2 years than move out
Sean Soku I know some people in summerlin, there’s still a lot of car accidents there, I don’t know why there’s lots of accidents there in Las Vegas seems like a trend, I always scared driving around there and the surrounding Area of Las Vegas
Unless you're starting to genuinely observe like you NEED the space, don't even worry about it! Sometimes it just boils town to function and layout in smaller homes so I hope you find that balance ^^
I love how great of a relationship Bart and geo have with Kevin their real estate agent, such a real homie coming all the way to Vegas with them to see houses 😂😂
I wish you guys luck with whatever you decide to do! The only thing I am a bit surprised by is that I remember when they were looking for their current California home, they said they were looking for an area with great schools. In that sense moving to Vegas seems a bit contrary to that. I'm not sure how you guys feel about private schools, but I would look into that for sure for Taika.
YES! The entire state of nevada ranks last in the NATION for the last several years: www.fox5vegas.com/news/nevada-schools-bump-up-from-last-in-state-by-state-ranking/article_765f212c-d31e-11e9-81ab-3b0df02a239e.html You have to pay for private school for sure if you care about your kids schools
As a person raised in Vegas I can’t stress enough how bad the schools are here, even in the nice neighborhoods. Really really imperative that they look in to private schools if they plan to let taika grow up here. Most people I knew growing up either became pregnant at 16/od’d on drugs. Almost all of them dropped out of high school, and this was in SUMMERLIN.
@@josenegrete3694 what is considered a "good" school district in LV is probably on par to bad schools in Cali. So bart's school in CA which may be considered bad is probably considered good in LV
It's so interesting to see American urban sprawl and how it's just literally houses all you can see. I've only ever lived in europe with mixed style city layouts and in Seoul which is well everything everywhere on top of each other or apartment blocks, so quite the opposite to these communities. Very cool to see!
Honestly, I prefer the mixed style city layouts. What you see in much of America, in Cali/Vegas/other places, REALLY... is so desolate. I've also been to Seoul and Tokyo. I prefer that mixed layout and the ability to go to cities/towns further out where you see a lot more of nature. Funny thing is, I feel this urban sprawl you mentioned is extremely overhyped. It's sad to see a layout of cookie cutter houses/neighborhoods over a vast land of desert and continuous housing development. FLAT would be an understatement.
@@DNarryJulieTon Yeah even those mountains weren't doing it for me. Looked like death. I guess I am a snow peak kinda guy. Love thick lush trees around. Or atleast a beautiful city scape to look at. Right now we have views of farms they look amazing from the 9th floor.
@@roshill2010 I completely agree with you. lol I love all of the views you've mentioned. I also think other countries do a much better job of integrating nature and city life. America feels quite a bit behind on that aspect. I deeplyyyyy enjoy seeing mountaintop views. ahhhh now... I want to travel again. lol I envy your 9th floor views. It must be beautiful :) For me, I agree with the "looking like death" part. Even though this is still all nature. But that desolate, dry, desert plains/mountains... It just sucks the life out of you. At least that's how it makes me feel.
Lmao he ain’t that spoiled and he’s going to be a different kid when he’s older. If anything he should be inspired to work harder because they worked this hard to provide this life for him.
I’m glad their whole family isn’t crazy rich like for ex when they went to geo’s grandma/mom’s (?) house for a bday part it looked like a regular home and taika seemed like he was having a good time. it’s all about teaching ur kids that not everyone lives the same and that it’s ok.
They probably will end up moving to Vegas. I highly doubt they’ll be doing jk news. If anything they’ll probably be guests like once every 2 months. They’ve been doing less videos with them and more videos with guest and rotations between the crew. They’ve been feeling this move since a long time ago. I would say since geo started appearing less and less into the jk videos and her leave off big mood girls.
They only do JK once a week anyways and Vegas is at most a 2 hours flight from LA so I highly doubt they would just abandon their jobs, friends and family just to leave the county. I actually think that instead of selling their LA place they should just rent it cause that way they’ll have enough money to expand Barbell and their other ventures
I’m so happy you guys are looking into Vegas!! I’ve been living here in Summerlin all my life and highly recommend it. Summerlin provides a safe and clean community that is especially great for families. One of my favorite things about Vegas is that everything is not too far away. Meaning that you can live in Summerlin and drive less than 30 minutes away and have bomb korean bbq, ayce sushi, and so much more!! I wish you guys well on this journey!!
Danica Frias I keep hearing about how great Summerlin is. I’ve been to Vegas and Henderson before. Red Rock Canyon is a huge inspiration for me since I love the desert. What other cities do you recommend for single people?
dkd da I know, it does get pretty hot in the summer, however the good thing about it is that it’s dry heat and also when winter comes around, it gets super cool. So Vegas gets to experience all types of weather, even snow sometimes!
taoist40 I recommend the Southwest part of Vegas, some locals like to call it the Rhodes Ranch area. It isn’t as strict as Summerlin is (in terms of HOA) and also has great prices for housing. To add, that area has many restaurants and access to stores and is pretty developed now.
Signing Raiza I wouldn’t consider it “rich” because there are many homes you can find for $400k or less, especially in the Far Hills and Willow area because they are older communities. I believe you get what you pay for, in terms of cleaner streets, organized communities, and access to community parks. The part of Summerlin that is truly the “rich” part would be the Ridges, which is basically a community filled with million dollar homes. Overall, Summerlin has a nice variety of homes with multiple price points to fit the right buyer, you just have to look in the right place. 😉😊
Diane it depends upon where you buy. I’d say the average house in summerlin (which is where you want to live in Vegas) ranges between 300k all the way to 700k. And the ranges of styles, communities, and house sized are amazing. I’ve lived here my whole life and I love it
@@Itchy_pickles Damn that's nice! We basically paid $700k ($600k + $100k renovations) for our house that's about 1/4 the size of the houses shown in this vid. Sucks!
im a transplant of Socal, and honestly its just hard to leave it, after seeing majority of the country. i've been thru towns of a population of 5000, to a city like NYC. I like cali because it's versatile in meeting majority of peoples desires (dating pool, women, men, beaches, different cultures, food). places like vegas and other cities across the US are so limited i can't imagine not being in cali where i'm close to a costco, but also close to my needed asian grocery stores, at the same time being able to go get some delicious mexican or asian food. yes its expensive, yes it's high taxes, but i really look at the good side, after seeing all the limited availability other major US cities have. nothing really compares and i can't imagine leaving something like that, no matter how many wildfire, earthquakes or homeless people are in town.
That's what I thought but something must have given them agency to really consider moving out of Cali, could be a whole slew of reasons but I also thought they would stay in the area for business reasons. Whatever the reason I wish them luck in whatever they do next. Also given the situation with the pandemic most defiantly put a wrench in their business but also a lot of business can be done remotely now so maybe its not as a big deal to them.
Scrolled thru and saw a lot of Vegas hate in the comments section and as someone who is born and raised in Vegas, i have not had to deal with crime, education is not bad if you go magnet, and more importantly, its cheaper than California and only a 4-5 hour drive so they can stay connected to business in Cali. We may not have a beach but its not far and we have a couple lake areas.
It's not great, it's only tolerable cos the dirt cheap homes. But eventually everything will get expensive as more people move in. In 20 years Vegas residents will move to Montana for dirt cheap homes. It's a cycle...
We moved from the bay area to Vegas over a decade ago. Its great for entertainment and food but I dont recommend it for raising kids. The clark County school system is horrible. The violence is way worse than a decade ago. Its too hot in the summer. 115 degrees and getting hotter. We lived in the NW area which was nice and far from the strip. Still close to summerlin. Henderson is booming but its even hotter because its at the bottom of the valley. NW gets snow sometimes!!! We eventually started to hate the rocks and dirt vs green trees and water. Lake mead is the populations only water source and guess what....its future doesn't look good. 3 million people...1 lake....risky. The dam has never recovered and is scary low. 3 million people sucking off one lake is too risky for us now. We sold our 2 story house for a nice profit and relocted to the Reno area 30 minutes from lake Tahoe. Still have the freedom of Nevada but way greener and lots of rivers and lakes nearby. Much more nicer for raising kids. I take that back Reno sucks....nonone should move there lol. If you like camping or RV life....there is nothing close by. Vegas is like an island 5 hours from anything. Its fun with shot show, CES and SEMA but Vegas definitely has a down side that nonone wants to admit. I lived and worked there for 12 years....loved it and hated it towards the end. Glad we sold and left town. We just camped at Yellowstone this summer. Next year glacier national park! Then moab. Then Canada! Its all road trip distance from Reno. But....you guys are rich so a big nice house can make any location comfy lol. If we stayed in Vegas....it would be summerlin 100% plus its 5 minutes from the gun club lol. $200 per year but safe and worth every penny.
@oscar rebel the aquifer that the wells tap into such as the bellagio are at an all time low with no source of replenishment. Springs preserve was how the Indians survived for hundreds of years in the vegas valley....but as you know when the city was built....the people used it and dried it up completely. Thankfully hoover dam was built and as we all know....lake meade has been critically low for over a decade. Nothing has been able to get the water level back up because there are 3 million people living in that desert. Its OK for now....but i just didn't want to own property there any more knowing the water situation being so fragile. I hope life is good for 70 years there.
@oscar rebel I agree....they will spend billions of tax payer money to save vegas. The hotels won't spend their money. All of the billion dollar properties already have 10 hotels in other gambling states and over seas like Macau. Also remember. Billionaires can't control everything. The tourism industry in Vegas took a major multi million dollar hit after the October 1st massacre....and that was 1 mans work. Then covid hit and shut down the strip completely. Zero income. No tourism. If vega suffers a Mumbai India style attack or a resurgence of covid due to winter....i pray vegas tourism can survive? I hope it will be OK. I love vegas. Its just not where I want to raise my kids right now.
To clarify: CCSD: yes one of the lower performing school districts, but still one of the nations top five LARGEST districts (testing ratios, locations, etc. are critical factors). There are charter school options if you’re not comfortable with CCSD. However, south side and west side tend to have better education facilities. Summerlin and Henderson are more conservative areas (middle upper class). Water: we have cleaner water systems then other states and are continuing to fix this issue as you go throughout the city (replacement of water tube systems). Best taco place: Tacos El Gordo (but taco food trucks are highly recommended) Kid friendly places: most parks, Cowabunga & Wet N Wild in the summer, in door playgrounds are scattered through out the city. Vegas is like any other city filled with amazing and terrible things. Work in progress. As someone born and raised, I still love it here 🤷🏻♀️
22:22 can’t believe you almost didn’t show us this one 😩 please keep showing them!!! Lol I love seeing all the homes, super fun to watch. Could watch this shit all day
The smaller kitchen is called the dirty kitchen. It’s pretty common in Saudi Arabia. We have one at home. It’s to keep the other kitchen presentable and to prevent the cooking smell from filling your whole house, but it is usually has a door and ventilation. One thing I’ve noticed in most of the houses that you’ve toured in La and LV too is that the bedrooms are tiny! Why would you make the bedrooms small when you have all of this space! Most of the houses are one story too which is another thing that I think is a waste of potential space.
Welcome to Las Vegas! Many people are surprised when they see how beautiful Las Vegas can really be outside of the Las Vegas Strip. There are so many amazing communities here and price of houses are much less when compared to California, Washington, etc. Nice choice of looking at Toll Brothers at Lusitano Ranch. Those ranch-style homes are stunning! Best of luck!!
Welcome to vegas!! ✨🤍 make sure look into school ratings for taika. I’ve been here for 19 years and having a good school is a must for me now that I have a kid. And there’s a lot of outdoor things to do here in vegas, hiking trails, lakes etc. Locals usually stay away from the casinos lol and we normally just stay home until night time. Anyway, Good luck on your new venture.
True, there’s nothing in Vegas the only thing that’s active is the Casinos if you don’t have your own business or work from home it’s wack (from what actually Vegas residents have told me)
Moved here from Orange County (Anaheim Hills) in 2001... you will love the fact that traffic is normally non existent and drive times are nothing compared to LA or OC...Also when u go to So Cal it is usually against traffic unless u leave on Sunday...the food is good with a lot of Hawaiian places as this is the ninth island....we moved five years ago into the Ridges which is in Summerlin, just south of Red Rock....give it a look as there are newer used homes for sale....Also they are still building....All the homes are very modern....Give it a look and good luck! Also it is double gated (guard gated, and each community is gated).
Bart: what should we film? We’re running out of content ideas. Geo: we could have another baby. Bart: nah let’s move for the 6th time this year. That should do it.
All fun in games until you live there for a month and want to get the hell out because there is nothing to do for kids or teens. To spaced out for how hot is. Basing this off living in vegas for a month in a house that somewhat ressemble the houses in the video.
Just don't bring those Cali communism politics into those red states that's how everything becomes expensive as shit. America is supposed to be about freedom not politicians running people lives especially when they steal from them on the down low.
Been a Vegas local since I was a baby (25 now). Summerlin is a beautiful community, went to the magnet school there right off Charleston. Good luck if you're really moving in! For restaurants, Rainbow Blvd. and 215 is gonna be the spot for food LOL. If not there, around Chinatown is your best bet.
It's great to see that you guys are doing well and are exploring this new home possibility. I hope you all continue to stay safe and healthy! Love you guys!
Australian houses suck **s. The main bedroom is usually right at the front of the house. You walk in, and the main bedroom is either on the left or right side of the entrance 😂🤦♂️. Who came up with that shxt?
708914 I actually recommend not living in Las Vegas. Yes it’s good for future marketing like selling your house or renting it out for travelers. However, the materials of the new built houses are pretty cheap in person. There are some cons in houses and apartments in Las Vegas that don’t make sense like not having lights in a guest bedroom etc.The houses that are being showed are all professionally designed to attract buyers. The counters in the model house will not come with the house you buy. The shower tile will not come with the house you buy. Everything just adds up with the total of the house itself. Also, there’s literally no greenery in Las Vegas. The air is bad. The water is hard and bad. Schools for kids are very ugly. Every house is very very close to each other. Pay is also bad here. All backyards are usually small. Unless you’re a youtuber, celebrity, or have a good business here. Anyone can definitely afford one of the houses Bart and Geo are looking at. The houses Bart and Geo are looking at is probably 600k & up. It’s expensive in Las Vegas, but also cheap lol..
@@amandareh4268 I agree 100%. Moved out to Vegas for school and my parents bought a new model home as investment and it was ridiculous how much everything added up in the end. Construction companies don't have much competition either you're pretty much stuck with paying extra for decent materials. I'm not sure how model homes are in other areas of the US but when we called for touch ups, fixes, etc during the one year home warranty, they were very slow to the point where we couldn't finish the last few items on the list despite turning in the paperwork etc on time.
Aww I was so invested in your LA home lol... so much renovation...like your pool and backyard...and so many memories... The whole journey and everything...But I'm just a viewer lol 😂 happy with whatever you guys choose, and good luck with everything!!
@@knee6421 They could do it remotely. Would take some extra setup and planning, but it's done on a lot of shows. And Barbell can stay in LA and they can open another in LV.
By taking a 43 minute flight…JKN films Thursday-Friday every 2 weeks, they can easily make it to one of those 2 weeks of filming. Barbell already has a good management team, they don’t have to be there in person all the time, they can do all their meetings virtually so it’s not that big of a problem. If there’s an emergency and one of them has to be there like I said before it’s only a 43 minute flight
this is so dope. I am so happy for you guys and seeing yall prosper is amazing. im a lurker so i just like the videos and watch never really comment but im really happy for you guys and the JK crew. love you wish many more blessings and guys... stay AWESOME!!!!
I get that it’s probably way cheaper to live in Vegas than Cali, and that they could get their money back on the house they’re currently in bc of all their renovations that upped its value... but damn how many times have they moved in the past 5 years. Thinking about dropping their “forever home” so soon even when they aren’t even completely done renovating (as bart mentioned in the last vlog) is crazy to me. I can only dream of moving wherever I want when I want, out of nice home after nice home.. But hey if they got the money. I’d want to lowkey flex it anyway I can too
..seems like EVERYONE is moving to VEGAS!!! ..it's Hawaii's "9th Island" since so many Locals have moved there...I'm REALLY thinking about moving back to the Mainland and instead of returning to California I've been eyeing out Vegas as well...houses are way cheaper than here in Hawaii - for sure!!! ..just don't know if I want to say "ALOHA" to PARADISE...
just seems like it. Las Vegas is a transient city. many end up moving back after the general hype. Las Vegas does to people moving in, what it does to people simply visiting. Putting a lot of glitz and glamour in your face to distract you in what lies underneath. But you stay long enough or actually decide to live there, it will peek its head and you know why Las Vegas is affordable.

It’s actually really good you guys came in September since that’s usually our hottest month. Here it’s usually the hottest temp right before the weather changes to get cooler. If you guys do move here I hope you’ll like it, not just because the prices but the actual Vegas community
Yeah and like let me move to a place that is even hotter, drier, and les suitable for people to live and have a pool. They're not going to downsize their life. They're just moving some place that is cheaper for them to do so without regard for why California is now the way it is.
@Well known yeah, usually people in my country buy a house and live there for years and also generations in some cases lol. maybe it's the culture differences
Well a huge issue is that they can’t get their yard done right now anyway. With Covid their contractor said he legally can’t do anything until they get the permits and that is closed so they’re stuck. I wouldn’t say they’ll move any time soon but if you have the money and a house already done for you, it’s not unreasonable.
Love how you’re are trying to film every model homes but try slow down a little when filming.. I got motion sickness for a sec with the camera moving too fast. The refrigerator quarantine 🤣🤣
@@maxwhitlock1558 Yeah no one here is going to dissuade them from moving, they can do what they want. But it's to dissuade others here from thinking that making a lot of money, and buying a big house is the path to happiness. It might be, might not be. I had a neighbor who constantly moved, always remodeling. It was an OCD.
@@thechairman74 there's research that once you make a certain amount of money--it is pretty low--that happiness doesn't increase. Just hope they don't fall into the trap of just buying things for happiness like a lot of Americans do.
IDK Vegas is nice, but the investment to the place especially in the city is not worth it. Maybe a vacation home where they can rent it out, but not a good city to be in.
i just skimmed through the video to see the house lol but do they say why theyre moving? They put so much into the other one and it came out so nice 0_0
All of the houses in vegas were cute it literally doesn't matter which one you pick they all are amazing. I remember in california yall ran into a few duds but vegas just kept delivering.
I don’t think you know much about homes and how cheap Vegas is. The building part raised their home’s value. And a several million dollar mansion is like only $600k in Vegas.
All these houses are so beautiful!! Everyone saying they just got their home and now they’re moving. Just leave them alone it their life! Nothing wrong with a small home, some people's houses are outrageously huge. Big home doesn't equal happiness, being content with what you have will.
@@CelticFairyBox This is very evident as they keep on moving constantly!
Unless you're starting to genuinely observe like you NEED the space, don't even worry about it! Sometimes it just boils town to function and layout in smaller homes so I hope you find that balance ^^

I think he's Bart's cousin or something like that

Awww they brought Kevin the realtor with them. That’s loyalty lol.

That’s the American spirit. The only hinderances I see in your future are taxes.
If you keep an attitude like that, your future will be bright.
I am pretty sure Bart did not go to the best school district in southern Cali and look at how he turned out! They will be just fine

Urban sprawl is killing America. Public transports sucks, food sucks, traffic sucks, community sucks, everything sucks.
It must be beautiful :)
For me, I agree with the "looking like death" part. Even though this is still all nature. But that desolate, dry, desert plains/mountains... It just sucks the life out of you. At least that's how it makes me feel.

Too bad his friend lives in a pantry the only pool there is a bowl of water :P
Knowing Bart and Geo, he’d probably be the one asking his friends if they wanna come over and swim in his pool
😔 this is actually a sad news for me. I would love it if all of them moved to Vegas together and continued JKN from Vegas.
So what’s going on with all the pool and stuff that they did to the back yard? They just gonna leave it after all? Did I miss something?
@@Phonoodles408 they'll rsell it probably, it has a higher value too

chinatown/koreatown is in the ghetto over in vegas
Wow, those were beautiful homes. Good luck to you all. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you.
Wait did I miss something? Are they keeping a house in LA and Vegas? Or Are they deadass selling the house they just finished redoing?
Maybe their renting it.
Selling your la house will pay for the Vegas one and them some.
I want to see y'all thrive in a Vegas home so bad, instead of overpaying for a California home
We just bought a home near Downtown Summerlin last year coming from California also, we love it here🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
how much are the homes over there? i'm thinking about visiting the city and possibly moving
Sucks!

They worked their asses off for years to get to where they are. They were smart with investing back into their businesses and it paid off.
im a transplant of Socal, and honestly its just hard to leave it, after seeing majority of the country. i've been thru towns of a population of 5000, to a city like NYC.
Wait isn’t their current home their “forever home”?
I’m so confused how are they gonna do business lmfao
tht's what i was thinking too
That's what I thought but something must have given them agency to really consider moving out of Cali, could be a whole slew of reasons but I also thought they would stay in the area for business reasons. Whatever the reason I wish them luck in whatever they do next. Also given the situation with the pandemic most defiantly put a wrench in their business but also a lot of business can be done remotely now so maybe its not as a big deal to them.
Vegas isn’t too far from their businesses. It’s like a 4 hour drive. If they went on an airplane, it would probably be much faster

Half the price! 😀 cant beat that. So happy to hear you guys are moving! Can't wait to see what you guys do to your new home!
Were you bored with the half home they already bought?
I love the home tours!! more please
Stay away from lake mead i heard horror story on that lake lol
It's not great, it's only tolerable cos the dirt cheap homes. But eventually everything will get expensive as more people move in. In 20 years Vegas residents will move to Montana for dirt cheap homes. It's a cycle...
Oh dang moving already? Y'all's house is so beautiful though! Also love u guys!!!
I moved from Las Vegas to Hawaii.
Agree with the lack of greenery. Poor healthcare is also another issue
Agreed, lived there for several years growing up and the schools are trash
I know it's their life but I feel like they made the worst decision moving to one of the worst states for education and water quality.

Tough decisions lol all those homes are gorgeous good luck in choosing, any of those houses you really can’t go wrong with.

To clarify:
CCSD: yes one of the lower performing school districts, but still one of the nations top five LARGEST districts (testing ratios, locations, etc. are critical factors).
Best taco place: Tacos El Gordo (but taco food trucks are highly recommended)
Kid friendly places: most parks, Cowabunga & Wet N Wild in the summer, in door playgrounds are scattered through out the city.
Vegas is like any other city filled with amazing and terrible things. Work in progress. As someone born and raised, I still love it here 🤷🏻♀️

I actually recommend not living in Las Vegas. ❤❤❤❤ the last home!! GET IT!!!
Who cares how many times they move. As long as they’re happy !
Because it may be a sign that they arent. They think they are going to be happier but who knows.
@@thechairman74 exactly!
I think people are surprised because they thought Bart and gross were different kinds of people
@@maxwhitlock1558 Yeah no one here is going to dissuade them from moving, they can do what they want.
I'm envious but happy for you guys.
IDK Vegas is nice, but the investment to the place especially in the city is not worth it. Maybe a vacation home where they can rent it out, but not a good city to be in.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking I think they’ll miss la a lot not a lot to do it vegas as well
Either way I’m happy for them
Great Video.. I plan to move to Las Vegas from Honolulu in the beginning of next year. Bringing some Hawaiian food ideas to life. Congrats
i just skimmed through the video to see the house lol but do they say why theyre moving? They put so much into the other one and it came out so nice 0_0
The cost of living in California is too much, pretty much just taxes
Kim Donovan they said that Or you just saying that about Cali in general? 😅
Are they 100% gonna move?
@@emmahuynh348 1:06 Geo literally explains why. Attention span, who?
joseph burdette I haven’t gotten a chance to watch it and was just wondering, chill.
All of the houses in vegas were cute it literally doesn't matter which one you pick they all are amazing. I remember in california yall ran into a few duds but vegas just kept delivering.
What happend to "we built our forever home" you probably going to lose alot of money after building a house and selling it/ renting it.
Actually they probably increased its value by remodeling it so it might be able to cover the expenses

I don’t think you know much about homes and how cheap Vegas is. The building part raised their home’s value. And a several million dollar mansion is like only $600k in Vegas.
@@formoftherapy huge fan of the kulture study and wishing u all the best with ur mental health journey as well ! all love
All these houses are so beautiful!! Everyone saying they just got their home and now they’re moving. Just leave them alone it their life! I’m from Orange County, and I’m already planning to move outta state. California is going to keep getting expensive and I just don’t think I’ll ever make it here. Why not go outta state when the cost of living is cheaper. I’m all aboard with you guys!! Make sure to bring all the crew!!
Lmao your back yard isn’t even done yet and you’re moving already 😂 good for you though hahah
Nah, good for you. This is just stupid, look at me
GraceAlly Heyo I see you commenting under every comment. Why are you so pressed? If they wanna move they can move, how does this affect you personally?
theyre probably increasing the value of the house then make profit off the house
GraceAlly Heyo lol. Good for me? Anyway to me if people want to take cold hard cash and burn it in a pit of fire I wouldn’t say anything because it’s not mine to begin with. So why should you have anything to say about their choices 🤷🏻♀️ yeah it could be a “look at me” situation but they are dumb then who cares LOL.
Justin Nguyen lol I doubt so. But doesn’t matter.
I can’t believe you guys are moving!! It doesn’t seem that long ago you brought the big house in LA...but I kinda get it. Guess Covid put somethings into perspective. Plus it’d be awesome if your fam could be closer & the kids get to go to school together. Good luck!
