In terms of the Pokémon card game, the late EX era was in my opinion the perfect level of power. The gx era, although my favourite, got WAY to strong with tag teams, and changed the meta forever. Then, they released vmax cards, which became so powerful that the Pokémon company finally saw to nerfing the new cards with the new ex. The cards are strong, but not too strong, with not too broken abilities. Cant wait to see if damage inflation will happen again, and at what level. I had no reason to say any of this, as it has nothing to do with the video except for the fact that it’s Pokémon cards, but I thought I’d say it anyway. I guess, good cards like prime catcher got popular enough to sell higher, so there’s that.
Hey if it's Pokemon related I'm happy to read and talk about it, it doesn't necessarily have to be about the subject of the video! 😅I do agree though that as we progress through time the cards have gained in strength massively causing Pokemon to put an end to certain eras (GX & VMAX) relatively quickly despite their popularity. Also I think they want to find a fine balance between collectors and players as they wouldn't want to price players out of potentially buying a card purely down to the fact that collectors love the cards driving the prices sky high. I think in general they play things pretty well to suit all parties!
