For all those wondering.. it was ice forming on the slipper clutch.. I explained it in the video actually ;) The slipper is done ALL THE WAY UP! Just super.. Slipper-y!
Notice in the beginning everything was fine.. at 2:14 everything is A-OK, but as the truck ices up.. it starts to slip big time. But now that it is dry.. tight as it gets. Ill have to rough it up if I do any more Ice Creek Trailin'

Although not the terrain I prefer, the backdrop of seemingly endless evergreen forests was truly amazing. I'm from Appalachia and no stranger to mountains and forests but I haven't seen tightly packed "older" growth pine forests like that this far east. Again, GREAT location man.
My friend, Canada is a beautiful country.. and BC & Alberta have awesome forests. I am truly fortunate to be able to RC & share film from these locations! Thank you fro commenting :~)

I've had all types of short course trucks to drifters, I've decided to change everything up and get my self a trail truck starting with the Dingo. I'm just waiting on its arrival. I had the same problems with my slipper clutch... I used to have a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 that I kind of built into a rock buggy. That was the biggest problem I had was the slipper clutch getting wet and slipping. I finally got so tired of it that I sanded down the clutch pads and lightly ground the slipper plate. That gave it better grip, but it wasn't enough. I used blue loc-tite on the clutch pads and basically bypassed it. That thing went everywhere after that! Haha!
