I can totally understand this one being useless, but I am the few that had missed out on worthy Cap and happily preordered this 2 pack. Plus I only have the Marvel Select Sam Wilson so still would be cool to have the ML one.
Same accept I have the ML Sam Cap (I have the MS Sam Cap too). This was all about getting another crack at that Worthy Cap for me. BTW that ML Sam is way better than the MS one.
Personally as someone who’s only started collecting Marvel Legends with the Disney+ wave 2 figures, I’m super happy to have a Steve in my growing collection. I also skipped out on Sam, knowing that this 2 pack was coming out, so glad I have him too. I can definitely see why this wouldn’t be appealing to long time collectors though haha
I sold my Sam Cap from the Disney + wave, kept the wings and bought this set. Thank God he comes with an unmasked head and the fists which I was really annoyed that he didn’t come with the first time around.
I actually lost my mjolnir a couple weeks after getting the captain America. It’s been a couple years and I am still a bit angry at myself that I managed to lose it.
i had my power and glory cap from a reseller to my birthday and now im thinking to buy this 2-pack and find the best of endgame version. I'll keep my power and glory in its box so it won't get damaged and dusted since it's hard to find.
Found a £36 worthy cap with a custom broken shield and Sam with the wings for £25 when it first came out. If you missed both, grab this and buy a hammer. Sam's wings are cool to have on display but really not essential. Maybe Hasbro will do them again but better but after seeing the re release vulture wings being the same, I wouldn't count on it haha.
That's right, the paint in the eyes is not right, that's what throws off the likeness

My favorite Captain America is Steve Rogers because Steve first became Captain America way back in 1945. Years later, he became the leader of the Avengers in the MCU 😎🔥
Just FYI for anyone interested, the Cap from the "Best of Wave" is actually up on BBTS, has been for a while now with a slightly more expensive price point of $29.99. So if you missed out on Worthy Cap and don't want to dish out for this two pack, there's that option.
I have the sam and bucky 2-pack and I was wondering if the wings from that falcon figure would fit this sam figure.
I’m getting it as I don’t have either version……I do have a question though…..how much does it cost for the artwork…..I throw mine away so to me it’s kind of pointless to have to pay for something that I’ll never see again……I know presentation is everything but I really don’t care about it….just give me the figure no packaging lol.

Thinking about picking this bad boy up. I could put Steve’s head on different figures but that’s pretty much all I see this as good for. A $40 head sculpt and an extra shield lol
Im absolutely getting this 2 pack, I've had it on preorder since it came out, im glad I waited on the Sam Cap from the flight gear wave, cuz there's a huge reason to get this now, and my Worthy Cap has some really wonky joints, so now I can hopefully have a good Steve Rogers for my Endgame display that won't be too loose
It’s the same body sculpt as worthy captain so the joints will be the same but hope they’re more sturdy
One thing Hasbro needs to do is they need to wait for a Marvel film to be released that way they can paint on every single detail of their suits instead of using concept art for the figures. One thing they should’ve done with the worthy cap was for a complete new body mold. The original worthy cap is good but it’s too short compared to the Iron Man and Fat thor.
They need to capitalize while they can. It’s not just a Hasbro decision, it’s a Disney decision. They need toys in the shelf to help promote the movie
@@MCUcollector24 very true. Btw thank you for the review. I was debating whether or not if I should get it or not, and I’m probably not. I’m satisfied with the Sam cap, and since I don’t own a worthy Captain America I’ll just buy the Mafex version.
I skipped on the original Sam Wilson Captain America figure so I’ll probably aim for this release. And even though I do have the Worthy Cap figure, I love that mold enough I wouldn’t mind having a second one (just wish he came with a closed right fist this time around).
Preordered this set and can’t wait to get it. Just got back into collecting after a long ass hiatus. Trying to complete the MCU figures.

The only reason why I wanted to get this 2 pack so badly is because I don't have the endgame worthy cap figure in my collection also the original disney plus Sam wilson captain america toy too so this is a must get for me.
I don’t have either of these figures (the regular release) so I might get this and then just build the wings
The upside is that I can just get the Build A Wing wave without that Sam. But then the Sam in that wave I can just use his shield in case the clip peg on the John Walker Cap breaks. So spare shield. Win win.

Do the BAF WINGS work on Falcon?
Since the only Cap I currently have is First Avenger Cap, & this Sam can replace the BAF one, it's a yes for me. Also the paint apps are really sweet plus extra headsculpts. I love the straps & despise the peg shields.
Both look extra awesome. These will be the best things I add to the shelf in a while.

What's really annoying is I feel like Sam Wilson Cap release was lacking. I could forgive the paint apps but no alt head and fists?
Then add on the paint apps. I know it was probably rushed out but it feels that way and this release is a punch in the gut. It's not like you can't buy the Sam Cap for MSRP(or less) right now.
Of course for someone who never got either figure this is great. But for current owners it's sorta salt in wound.
Now I hope when they do the next outing of Sam Cap's costume they address the shoulders. They don't fit in the socket and honestly Mackie in that suit is a top heavy broad shoulder guy.

I would like to add that the paint apps are more accurate and the head sculpt was a plus so yea it is worth if you want screen accurate but I would rather had the villain in this 2 pack. Karli instead of Steve.

The improvement on the Chris Evans likeness and finally getting that unmasked Anthony Mackie head are why I'm picking this set up.
If those weren't included this would have been an instant pass.

I missed out on Worthy Cap, so I pre-ordered this two pack. The Sam Cap with slightly better paint apps is a bonus since I have the OG release with the full BAF wings. Overall it's cheaper than aftermarket Worthy Cap.

At the first chance I bought the full BAF wings on ebay. It was much cheaper than buying the whole wave.

I’m very disappointed that they didn’t even make Steve taller at all. Like the figure itself is shorter than nearly all the other avengers that he’s taller than in the movies. I just hope I’m the future they fix that especially making it more accurate with the paint apps with the scales that’s all I ask for
the paint dots on steves face are not random cause chris evans got them for real

I have mixed feelings about this 2 pack tbh, the sam Wilson cap from this 2 pack is better than the original version and I still prefer the Walmart Steve Rogers cap version compared to the 2 pack Steve Rogers version.
Mine is on the way! I think it was a good purchase since I missed out on the worthy cap. I wish it would have came with sam's wings and a Thor hammer for Cap. But it's all good. Great review, new subscriber.
Never thought I'd see someone upset we didn't get the shitty clip and peg shield.
I know, I hate the clip too, but it would make sense here because Sam Wilson didn’t come with that shield version and it would work great for him

I'm torn, I missed out on the worthy cap but got the international re issue which has no mjolnir and no unmasked head, this one ks tempting for that extra head scuplt and Sam looks cool and I don't have one soo..

In the movie his skin doesn’t show in the gloves only his knuckles so they got that wrong, the old version is correct on the gloves.

I hope someone on online shopping apps sell the cap figure for 20 dollars or less. I missed on the Worthy cap and I'll just buy a separate mjolnir accessory so it'll be nice to have him.
I had to get this pack. Although the Anthony Mackie head isn't perfect, it's better than any other head sculpt for him we've received (since there are none 🤣) and I needed a modern Captain America. I wish the pack had come with Mjolnir as I don't have a plain one (only the blue-tinted one from the Infinity Saga Thor). I have the MAFEX Endgame Captain America pre-ordered (if it ever arrives in the U.S.). This Steve Rogers almost makes me want to cancel that but I've yet to make a decision.
why are all reviewers on youtube lacking imagination? Man you can perfectly stick Sam's shield to his back, just use the straps like snap-ons on the backpack vertically

Did anyone have trouble with Sam Cap's ankles on the first release? The feet are so weird and gummy, and the left ankle on mine broke.
Some figures randomly come out like that. I’ve had the problem on other figures before

I spoke to Hasbro about returning the figure, they said to speak to the retailer, retailer said send it back so I did, but the package arrived damaged so they didn't want to give me my money back, Hasbro said they should, I told the retailer that and demanded my money, then the retailer said "Sure, you can have your money, but you can't buy from us again." Epic 😑

They could've just released an updated Captain America: The First Avenger. Makes sense for Sam Wilson Cap to be next to the first version of Steve Rogers as Captain America

The backpack piece that he comes with is just the regular one that doesn’t connect the wings. You would still need that other backpack piece

Wasn't interested in this set, but i kinda liked an updated cap, now seeing that face sculpt, i am glad i passed - his eyes are way too squint.
I already got the single Sam Wilson captain America figure but, I'm sure they will release a deluxe version with his wings when His film comes out. I want a Steve rogers captain America figure but, I'm holding out for a re-release of worthy cap with Thor's hammer. I'll probably pass on this.
