I became such a fan of the character that I preordered this as soon as it was announced. Ships out a day before my birthday! It would be cool if they made a flag smashers three pack with Karli and two masked random man and woman accomplices with the possibility of a dented homemade shield prop. I know very niche and specific and unlikely to happen but a guy can dream. I feel a little retooling can make John Walker the base for an ideal Steve Rogers in the future.
Since most shield wielding figures come with grip hands, they should change the clip to a handle (C > ⌉). Leave the bottom of the handle open, like on a LEGO mug, so it can be held by figures with larger hands. Or make the clip a full circle (C > O). The hole would have to be large enough to slide on to the wrist. The peg flipping mechanism isn't altered, and it can't be too much of a hassle to remold that single piece.
Hasbro makes the clip/peg mechanism on the shield so that the peg fits perfectly into the grasping hand. This is true of virtually every figure with a shield that they have ever produced other than Hydra Supreme. There's literally no reason to use the clip if the figure has the grasping hand that is designed to hold the peg.
"It's the same, but black" is why I wonder if on set, the costume literally was the same but black and then edited in post, adding the red and white stripes digitally. Can't wait to get this fig from Walmart! Pre-ordered the day it got thrown up. And that extra plastic on the left side jawline is for the strap. If you look at actual shots of the show, the strap does connect under the ear to the helmet. But, since it doesn't have it on the other side, I just clipped the excess on my US Agent and probably will do the same with this Walker/Cap.
Thanks for the review! Good run down of the features and all the extra stuff for Sam was some nice bonus content that you included. The Wyatt Russell likeness is surprisingly good on this one IMO.
I hope the second wave of Disney plus figures comes with Agatha Harkness, Tommy and Billy, Monica Rambeu, Green suited Loki, Ms. Marvel, Clint Barton, and Kate Bishop, as far as live action Disney plus marvel shows are concerned
Agatha Harkness costume is not viable for Marvel Legends, ether they give us a plastic cone or a soft goods robe that would clash with the line esthetic (just ignore Storm and Shiklah).

I think you have the wing tips on the wrong side as well. They should be able to bend in without wanting to go back the other way and I think I saw the curvature of the wing going backwards when it should be going forward. I think though, I couldn't really tell that well

Could have done a comparison between US. Agent and Ego the Living planet from GOTG 2. Since, John Walker Is known to played by Wyatt Russell, Son of Kurt Russell who played Ego.
Sam Cap needs a bigger torso plus adjustment so his shoulder pads can rotate into the body. Mackie is a big wide guy. This might be where a upper torso on a ball peg would have helped. Still a shame Walker is an exclusive to Walmart while the suit in the show for a minute is the wide release.
I don’t understand why they made Steve so short than both Sam and John Walker. Like that’s not right, I just hope they do a rerelease and have that version be upscaled and be as tall as Walker
- the piece of plastic under the left ear is part of the chin strap, it’s just in painted and missing from the other side. How would the chin strap stay on his chin if it wasn’t? Look at stills from the show, it’s a manufacturing/sculpting error
