Thanks for sharing your go boxes, over the years I’ve added a ton of different antennas spent money I wouldn’t share with my XYL (she’s very supportive of my hobby). Operating out in the fresh air is very rewarding particularly mentally. I consider myself lucky but anyone starting out I would suggest learning from vids like this and just get on the air. Don’t wait until you can afford that IC705, enjoy the hobby as much as I do. 73 Mike
Totally correct Mike. It can be very inexpensive to get on the air, especially with QRP these days. A simple linked dipole (and you can make one yourself) and getting out into the fresh air is one of the best things anyone can do to improve their mental health. It's the act of doing that does it. If you make a few contacts, all the better :)
