I heard a theory which I slightly modify now: Mabon never died and he actually is forging the Titans with Isgarren's approval and Menzies' help, and everything is basically a massive trap set by Isgarren. ;D But to be fair there is a detail I never paid attention to, but could be a lead towards something interesting. Today I re-played the Skywatch Archipelago meta event - unlocking the Wizard's Tower. And there is a part of it where we counter Lyhr's most recent memories. And apparently Lyhr was involved in fighting: the Void minions, the Aetherblades and... the Shadow Army. It already seemed very interesting that Lyhr was fighting in secret against the Dragonvoid and the Aetherblades that were involved in some weird Mists-fractal things. But that little detail that Lyhr was fighting against the Shadow Army (the Army of Menzies) was very interesting, and he fought them recently for some reason. If the writers haven't forgotten about this detail, I think it would be interesting to find out what caused Lyhr to encounter the Shadow Army. There was a seed planted in SOTO about Bava Nisos, which was mentioned many times in the context of Mabon back in SOTO, so perhaps Lyhr's potential encounter with Menzies might come to light. I have no idea if it will come up in Janthir Wilds, but maybe the next mini expansion will focus on Lyhr and his troubled past in the context of Menzies. I hope we will get answer to the question: what purpose do the Titans serve? Are they perhaps an experiment to reshape the world of Tyria? Their connection to the elements of nature is very interesting and fascinating, and that first chapter of "Godspawn" was a strong signal to us that the nature-controll is very important in the context of Titans, yet they are not strong enough to change the weather at will and permanently. They are being created for a purpose, and I think it may be related to nature - as if their goal is countering the Elder Dragons' magics by mimicking them: Greer being similar to Mordremoth, Decima to Kralkatorrik. There is something very interesting about them - their ability to being brought back to life and reforged, the way they mimic nature and take Bloodstones' magic. I hope the whole expansion will end with an impactful finale with twists and turns, plot-twists and new perspectives on Tyria. And the darkest secrets that Isgarren keeps to himself will come up and that a lot of story bits will be told properly through the means of cinematics, and not just text over characters' heads.
@@KuchiKopi179 just because anet is lazy with their writing, doesn't mean we can't create our own "better" versions where some things go differently than in the story presented by devs who have a different vision. :)
@@michram yea, that's why I said I love your theory in my reply earlier. In my opinion after PoF, fan theories have always been better than anet story writing.

I'm lowkey amused you left in the "TH-camr things" talk in the video. 😂

As much as I love your theory, after pof, I know for a fact anet lazy writing will never have plot twists like what you said. Kinda sad
