Who can buy a tractor in this economy 😂 I am gonna wait till someone else is running the country.
100%
Good advise 👍
I bought just the tractor and finance guy offered another 500 of if I would finance at 0%...
Amen Sir spot on 💙🏆🏆👴
I just got my 2025 TYM T224 $17, 995 cash price plus $ 3k for the mower deck in Canadian funds but saved over $3k in taxes
I was able to keep the 0% on a kubota deal but I had to stay with kubota/land pride implements, we originally had it written up with a heavy duty rhino cutter, I think the trailers on most of the packages are not worth it.
Don't need a trailer if you have a good dealer, they'll bring all your stuff to you, and pickup your tractor for service...that's how my Kubota dealer is....I did have a trailer for a while that I bought totally separate from the tractor purchase, but didn't use it often enough to justify having it so I sold the trailer....it was a car trailer and I wouldn't even call it that...I guess if all you ever hauled was cars that ran/drove great...but a regular flat deck trailer with 5 foot ramps with wide spacing between the cross members, and no winch, and no provisions to add a winch....its not a very useful car trailer LOL. I just used it once or twice a year to haul the tractor to go mow a pasture for a lady...not worth the cost of having it around....Now, I just go borrow/rent a trailer if I need a trailer.
Hank you need to become a tractor salesman, you know all the little tricks up their sleve, lol. Really good advise. If people just do their due dilogence and watch your video's nothing can go wromg, they would learn alot!
Most salesmen are good honest people. 👍
I'm still deciding between TYM, Yanmar or Massey Ferguson. Hmmm, I must love red tractors.
I have a yanmar yt235. It's 4 yrs old with 625 hrs. It's been an awesome tractor, and I've worked it hard. I've had no issues with it. I had two warranty repairs. One was a broken turn buckle and the other was a kinked throttle cable that broke. Both were most likely my fault but still covered by the warranty. I am now looking at ytm because I want to go to a bigger tractor and yanmar is more now than I want to pay. Plus, I like the mechanical engine. Both manufacturers are 30 minutes from me which is a plus. If yanmar was cheaper, I'd be buying it again!
@@anthonyrood2064 The Yanmar YM 342 starts at about 28 to 29 thousand dollars. The Massey 1835M is around the same. I think the TYM 4820 is about the same. The Massey has a power shuttle transmission which would prolong the clutch.
@edwardgrobe2848 I prefer the yt series over the ym. Just some differences that I like better. As for tym, I'm looking at the 494. Just some things I like better about it the the 4820. The 494c i can get for 33k vs. yt347c for 42k. Yanmar and tym are the only ones I'm looking at because the manufacturers are 30 minutes down the road. Support local quality products.
@@anthonyrood2064 I did consider the 494. I'm almost 60 years old so I don't want to invest to much money. I really like the 1835/1840m Massey's because I can get a gear transmission with a power reverser. I love Manual transmissions because of the extra PTO and ground engagement power.
John Deere packages have the best Frontier attachments and top of the line trailers! Buy JD or Kubota packages they are top quality!
No offense, but I think Frontier stuff is standard at best.
when you finance it they want you to buy their insurance plan. another hidden cost
Ah man! Forgot about that one!!
Depends on the insurance plan...I have Kubota's KTAC....its the best you can get....$250 deductible regardless if its the machine's fault, or if you were the idiot and did the damage....it also will replace the machine and anything else that's listed on the KTAC policy (loader, backhoe, implements, etc) if its a total loss, KTAC replaces it with the same model, or the newest version.
If you have enough brains you'd have insurance on the machine and implements anyways, but I doubt the policy you find would do the same as the manufacturer's insurance/warranty.
Are you really so proud of yourself that you think people don't know the tricks of buying tractors, cars, etc.....?
Ah! Here it is..... I was waiting for your comment😂 see you on next video
@@hhamilton1970 Can't wait to see the tractor expert showing his self proclaimed brilliance again.......a legend in his own mind.
